Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4096  Elliaʼs Techniques

”- it boasts a ninety-five percent of prowess stemming from the main body. In this case, this is still a soul avatar, so ninety-five percent of the soulʼs prowess. Assuming that itʼs sixteen levels higher for your base, your soul avatar should now be fifteen levels higher.”

”Ellia, thatʼs wonderful.” Myriaʼs eyes gleamed with pride.

”How wonderful?” Davis raised his brows.

His heart also shook when he heard the numbers because his Solitary Soul Avatar had way less prowess, but in the Empyrean Stage, he didnʼt know how it fared.

Myria smiled and moved her lips, ”Normally, in the Empyrean Stage, all avatar techniques below the Empyrean Grade practically become unusable since weʼre fusing the two immortal vessels, which causes the composition of the body and the soul to change. It becomes unified, so the soul is no longer separate as it feels. It is similar for Autarchs as it pertains to the changes the Transcendent Wheel undergoes and encompasses all three cultivation systems. In any case, because of this reason, the avatar techniques need to be created anew and tailored to the cultivation manual the Empyrean is cultivating. It is all the more difficult if there are physiques involved. It would need fine changes to the details, which Ellia just accomplished for her life physique, which is my offshoot, so it applies to mine as well and perhaps yours.”

”Generally, it is considered good if an avatar in the Empyrean Stage reaches thirty percent of your prowess but for Ellia to have invented one that reaches ninety-five percent, that is beyond my ability for now. Clearly, Ellia has made so much progress in Life Laws. She might even close the gap and come in between me and Saintess Lunaria.”

Myria was so full of praise for Ellia that the latter couldnʼt stop smiling.

She reached out her head and even received head pats from Myria, appearing like a cute puppy. But she continued speaking.

”Other than prowess, since it is a life energy avatar, it can transfer itself to the user, meaning it can heal injuries in an instant, acting as a reservoir of vitality, even restoring soul essence. It is also critically life-bound, so if you were to take a life-threatening hit, it can splatter in your stead. Naturally, this avatar can also be cultivated. If the life avatar perishes, then it will even leave a life seed that can be used to remake it in a few minutes. All you would need is to pour the required amount of energy. It can also defend from karmic attacks.”

Ellia listed a long list of merits before she raised her head, and her expression sank.

”I tried my best, but the only demerit is that it can only use life, wood, and water soul force, mostly tame energies. However, this can be changed. What I propose is that elder sister Myria can fill the death energy chapter of this Verdant Vitalis Avatar Technique of mine, and my prince can trace the exact opposite of life and death in order to fit your reincarnation physique.”

”Our physiques are different. We need to tailor it to our souls anyway.” Myria nodded, not minding the little work.

Ellia already built this frame for them. Myria was gratified to learn that Ellia wasnʼt just fooling around; she was as smart as her. She had berated her a lot in the past because she wouldnʼt focus, going on my prince this and my prince that, which honestly irritated her, but now, that didnʼt seem so bad, and her brilliance shone brightly.

”Great—!”

Davis yelled out, ”Youʼre so amazing, Ellia. Without you, I would be like a headless fly, not knowing where to start for the avatar technique, but because of you, our work is now ninety percent complete.”

”Hehe~ Praise me more~”

Ellia walked towards him and directly embraced him. She felt his firm and toned body and took in his warmth. She plastered her face to his chest and breathed in his familiar scent.

”But my prince,” Ellia raised her head and looked at him, melted expression, ”You have let your guard down…”

”…?”

Davis blinked. Abruptly, his pupils narrowed as a dagger appeared in Elliaʼs grasp, and her hand shot towards his head.

With a flick of his hand, Davis caught Elliaʼs hand, but she instantly went for his balls, turning his scalp numb. However, his leg also reacted, stopping her knee in its tracks.

*Bzz!~*

A tremendous amount of killing intent solidified in the space, and a malevolent aura descended, nearly superimposing Elliaʼs figure with that bastard Accursed Warlock.

”You dare take Myria from me!?” Ellia screamed out, her expression icy.

Davisʼs heart shook. He quickly activated Heart Intent, and his heart sank. He had experienced this aura before. It was undoubtedly Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrionʼs aura.

The others also looked shocked and entered a battle status even though they didnʼt know what to do now.

Myriaʼs expression turned grim.

Was Ellia possessed? When!?

But within that timeframe, they all made strange expressions since Ellia seemed to suddenly smile.

”Can you tell if Iʼm Accursed Warlock or not?”

”…”

For a moment, Davis wondered if this was one of Elliaʼs pranks, but it was just too real for it to be a prank. However, her aura that seemed to emulate Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion, no longer seemed as real as before. To his Heart Intent, it seemed more real than what his senses told him.

”You… you elevated your technique that fools Heart Intent?”

”Indeed.” Ellia grinned, ”I infused Illusion Laws and Ice Laws into it, making it difficult for the heart to perceive whatʼs true and whatʼs real as the illusion fools, and the icy thickness forms a wall that makes the heart blind. What do you think? Is it now capable of fooling your Level Two Obscure Intent?”

”…” Davisʼs lips twitched, ”Spare me please…”

She almost scared him to death as he believed for a moment that Ellia had been taken over. This time, her technique not only did fool him but she also emulated other auras instead of her own emotions. This was a wild improvement.

Naturally, it only managed to fool him for a moment since Elliaʼs cultivation itself was weaker than his, but it definitely worked. More importantly, the suspicion itself was left.

After all, Accursed Warlock was capable of much more. He may fool them all to death.

”Ellia, you naughty girl. I praised you for nothing.” Myriaʼs expression was stern.

”Elder sister, please, Iʼm sorry!~ I only did this to make Davisʼs Heart Intent grow stronger. Besides, after this situation, our husband will also not let his guard down while relaxing. Being with us is the most vulnerable time. Being on his guard at all times is very important for his survival. The same could be said for everyone else.”

Ellia instantly went to Myria and started kowtowing. She appeared to know what she did went over the board, but she pleaded her reasons.

Hearing those excuses, the both of them couldnʼt say anything.

Clearly, Ellia planned this all.

From introducing an avatar technique to improving her technique to fool Heart Intent, it was like she was finally making her debut. They were indeed awed but didnʼt know what to do with her playfulness that seemed to go overboard. Perhaps it was just this one time.

”Fine… even I was caught off guard. I know I shouldnʼt let my guard down before we kill that psycho.” Myria heaved a sigh and lifted Ellia off the ground.

”Elder sis! I love you so much!~”

Ellia used this chance to place a kiss on Myriaʼs cheek, causing the latter to freeze. Myriaʼs lower lips abruptly extended out, her face looking as though she was going to cry, but she hurriedly wrapped her around Ellia and hid her face over her neck.

”…?” Ellia noticed the trembling. She was shocked but hugged more tightly, knowing her mother had always been lonely and probably wanted a little sibling or two in her life.

However, she had lost her mother the day she was born.

Davis also noticed. His heart was moved, so he didnʼt say anything. The others also smiled as they saw their bond.

Eventually, Myria and Ellia separated.

”Ah~”

Suddenly, Davis lifted Ellia up from the leg and threw her on his shoulder like he was kidnapping a bride.

”That wonʼt do. A seed of suspicion has been placed, and I have no other choice than to strip you down to the last cloth and check if you really are not that bastard.”

*Paah~*

Davis slapped Elliaʼs butt before a clear fleshly slap resounded across the hall.

Ellia barely managed to suppress the moan that escaped from her mouth, her cheeks turning red.

”My prince, spare me~” she squealed, her voice low as she had never felt so embarrassed.

However, Davis turned and walked away with her, causing everyone to be able to look at her face.

”Ah~”

Ellia hid her face from the sheer embarrassment. Now, everyone will know she would be pounded to death. Her glorious return became a joke. Where would her reputation go?

However, Davis finally put her down and held her cheek gently, kissing her before he patted her head.

”I wish I could entertain you, but my friendʼs bleeding right now. Gotta go heal him.”

”Mhm~”

Ellia obediently replied. Her naughtiness was nowhere to be seen.

After Davis and Everlight left, Fiora and the others surrounded Ellia, teasing her to no end. However, they welcomed her back, knowing she wouldnʼt be secluded again unless it was for cultivation. At the same time, they started asking for an improved version of the technique that fooled Heart Intent.

However, Ellia was clear that she would only give this technique after he approved it for distribution.

Soon, Davis appeared before Andironʼs palace and tried to visit him. However, he wasnʼt there, so he went to Soarenʼs palace and spotted him there.
