Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4066  Bloodied Rocky Plains

Myria looked into the distance.

The Bloodied Rocky Plains was around two billion kilometers in radius, absolutely empty. Not a single treasure appeared here in the past two thousand years due to the bloody toxic air but, most importantly, the lack of heaven and earth energy.

If at least there was heaven and earth energy, some poisonous treasures wouldʼve appeared by now, but there was nothing, so it was still abandoned.

Only feral beasts and savage beasts existed here, practically surviving on scraps and crumbs.

Myria didnʼt bother with these beasts. They didnʼt pose any threats. However, she wondered if this place would be good to undergo her tribulation.

If she remembered correctly, from the information Mingzhi collected, it was said Davisʼs Immortal Emperor Tribulation clouds almost covered a hundred million kilometer radius of the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm.

Of course, it was not even a percentage of a Minor Realm since a Minor Realm spanned over a thousand light years.

However, the annihilative aura blaring from the tribulation clouds wouldʼve expanded past well over nine hundred million kilometer radius mark, stretching over ten times or even further. Since it had been near the capital and the population density was higher, everyone had been scared out of their wits.

Even if it didnʼt cover one percent of the Minor Realm, it sure did cover more than sixty percent of the denizens of the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm.

It was recorded as one of the most apocalyptic events, with some even dying from having a weak body or already on their deathbed, although the authenticity of this news wasnʼt verified.

It was unknown how many people Davis had traumatized and turned against him.

Myria wondered how many she was going to turn against her.

The World Master said that she should maintain at least a ninety million kilometer radius from other people so that they wouldnʼt interfere, but she doubted that was the case anymore after her physique had grown stronger.

Even with just the Eternal Life Soul, she faced six Paragon Magical Beasts.

After she created the Eternal Life Body Physique, she knew the karmic burden wouldʼve significantly worsened. After all, it should be no less than the Eternal Life Soul, considering it formed a full cycle and finally rectified the flaw of her soul physique, or that should be the theory at the very least. She wouldnʼt fully know until she died, but she had the confidence that her soul would no longer produce a new soul after she died.

Furthermore, there was the Divine Union with Davis, which almost created a Reincarnation Cycle or at least a spark of it, and now, she had intruded on Nadiaʼs racial karmic burden and protected her children.

She wondered how this was going to affect her, making her mumble to herself in worry. She wished that this would go well so that she could just go back and be pampered.

”Ha… I guess Tina and Dalila would come to borrow me before he reaches me…”

”Master, everything is going to be fine. I promise.”

Lereza appeared in front of her from a distance at this moment.

”After I enter the Empyrean Stage, I will allow no one to touch you! Please pass your tribulation without any worries or distractions.”

Hearing Lerezaʼs declaration, Myria looked at her.

”Lereza, you donʼt have to call me master just because I saved you long ago. You donʼt have to be the palace spirit, either. You should go live your life.”

”Eh?” Lereza seemed to be hit with a brief amount of confusion.

She stuttered, ”B-But I… I am living the way I want.”

Myria shot a good look at her before she nodded.

”If thatʼs the case, I am fine with it. However, the way I see it, you are trying to make up something for the past or want something that you donʼt have. Iʼm not sure if I or Davis can provide you with the warmth you desire, so if you donʼt find it here, you must make a decision.”

”…”

Lereza bit her lips, ”Master… do you not want me…?”

Myria inwardly sighed. It seemed like this child was still adoring her.

She advised, ”All Iʼm saying is that you donʼt have to be bound to the palace. If the World Master wanted you to serve and protect your master, then that is no longer the case anymore since your master is Davis. If you cannot devote your life to him, then you should break free of these chains. Iʼm sure he wouldnʼt say no.”

”No! I promised him that I wouldnʼt betray master!” Lereza raised her hands and loudly replied before shuddering and lowering her voice.

”I mean, him. I would always treat you both as masters, but the one I serve is him. I have made my decision, elder sister Myria.”

Myria raised her brows as she looked taken aback, but she nodded with a smile. ”That appellation is fine.”

”Elder sister~”

”Yes?”

”Elder sister~”

”…”

”Hehe, I just wanted to call you that~”

Lereza giggled, causing Myria to shake her head.

”After the mirage is built, the first one to undergo tribulation is you, so donʼt fail.”

”Aha~ I wonʼt fail. Iʼm more worried about whether it will attract any onlookers even though it is unlikely.”

”Indeed. Although it is unlikely, it isnʼt zero. Your Empyrean Tribulation wouldnʼt extend past nine hundred thousand kilometers since youʼre not a Divergent, but the intensity of the energy may attract some onlookers. This is also the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm, which is more secure than I thought. Perhaps they may have some contraption that detects Empyrean Tribulations, but I doubt they will come to check soon since weʼre so far away from the capital and the realm borders.”

”Thatʼs true.”

Myria and Lereza continued to talk. Vereina listened as she sat on a rock, her palms stabilizing her head. Her posture was nothing but slump, looking bored, but she continued to listen attentively to their chatter, trying to gain more knowledge.

Half a day later, Illumina was finally done creating a mirage that covered almost a two billion-kilometer radius.

Of course, this didnʼt mean she covered the entirety of the two billion kilometer radius with a mirage, only the outer layer. Anyone who gets past this mirage will see what is going on. Anyone who is in space can still see what is going on. After all, she cannot cover the skies as it would interfere with the tribulation, but her mirage acts as a wall for anyone who looks in their direction, displaying nothing or something else.

Even if they sensed an annihilative aura, how many would be able to recognize it?

All they could feel was a menacing, sinister, and authoritative heavenly aura that would make them feel some sort of calamity was forming there. They may report it to seniors and authorities, but surely, there wouldnʼt be immediate trouble.

Illumina spent over forty percent of her energy, but she had pills to restore her energy.

They waited for some more time before Lereza underwent her tribulation.

A normal Empyrean Tribulation descended.

Needless to say, Lereza easily passed it. The mirage was untouched and no one even remotely found out.

Vereina was tempted to undergo her Empyrean Tribulation as well as she felt like there might no another chance as this place was chosen so good, but she was afraid that might bring down a Destructive Heavenly Tribulation and alert their enemies, so she controlled herself and watched Myria undergo her Immortal Emperor Tribulation!

*RUMBLE!~~~*
