Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4062  Depending On Nyoran?

Davis stayed with Nadia as they received a lot of guests. Almost every one of the harem members, his father, mother, and siblings, came to meet Nadia and congratulate her for a successful delivery. They were joyous over the birth of three children.

Like Davis, they also gazed at the fey children with curious eyes and couldnʼt help but find them even more adorable.

Noctis, Styx, and Ragna instantly grew popular.

The three of them were crowded like they were celebrities as Myria checked on their vitality and informed them that the children were all healthy, even powerful, as they were all capable of using death energy in the future not only because of their father but Nadiaʼs Nether Springs Death Wolf bloodline.

Davis relaxed as he heard it.

It was possible the children may not have survived or had some difficulty if he didnʼt learn death energy. Fortunately, all three of them were healthy.

The others were all taken aback, knowing that being able to use death energy was not an easy thing, yet these children would probably be able to do it the moment they formed their Revolving Core or even earlier.

They all placed them on a pedestal, knowing that they would easily become supreme geniuses at the level of Empyreal Sovereigns. After all, the three of them all possessed Emperor-Tier Bloodline.

Myria could only think that the chaotic energy running through Davisʼs veins, even the Chaotic Genesis Body Physique, was responsible for all three children to have Emperor-Tier Bloodline. After all, not even one child would inherit such an imperial bloodline in so many pregnancies, but his seeds were always consistent.

Azariel and Viridia also possessed Emperor-Tier Bloodlines and are now Nadiaʼs children.

She had reasons to believe that it was his chaotic seed causing these unbelievable odds to come true. It was nothing short of a miracle. But she also believed that it was the same odds that prevented so many others from getting pregnant even though he was virile and they were all fertile.

Nonetheless, after six hours of staying with Nadia, Davis finally released the state of alert.

There was no sign of any beings from the Nether Dimension tracking them.

Davis didnʼt want to waste anyone elseʼs time or worry them. By alleviating their state of readiness, he allowed them to relax and get back to their cultivation.

It didnʼt matter if they were ready or not. If enemies invaded, Stella was ready to shift them all to the Third Void Dust Sanctuary, and since she was just shifting, her teleportation was extremely precise. There was little chance that the enemies would be able to follow them to the Third Void Dust Sanctuary even if they could track the spatial coordinates.

After all, the nether beings would have to travel on foot, which would get them besieged by the human and magical beast races.

And this was the Third Layer. There was no need to be afraid that an Exalt would appear because they were not allowed in the Third Layer. Their powers could barely enter, much less their bodies. Lilliana Rayton was one such example.

He doubted if the entrance to the Shadow Dimension wasnʼt open for so long and her powers slowly seeped through with the passage of time, that old witch wouldʼve not been able to control anyone, much less those shadow wraiths.

Nonetheless, he could allot himself only so much time to stare at the cute babies before he went out to fulfill his duties.

After taking care of Nadia, he went to Nyoran to ask about the Nether Devils and if they could dimension travel.

He found her where Illumina was as they remained on the portal site to still watch over it.

”Iʼm not sure.” Nyoran hesitantly answered, ”I did remember a few things about them, like to... absolutely stay away from them, and their nether energy is one of the most dangerous energies out there in the Nether Dimension. I think theyʼre kind of a royalty-like existence within it. I also feel like thereʼs something above them but canʼt remember.”

”I see.”

Davis nodded.

He imagined that even if dimension travel was possible for these devils, they wouldʼve surely appeared by now if they could. The fact that they didnʼt follow quickly could only mean that they couldnʼt.

ʼEither they donʼt have the ability to trace back, or Nyoranʼs Nether Dimension portal is traceless…ʼ

Davis thought before he asked, ”You can create a portal to a random location in the Nether Dimension again, right?”

”Yes,” Nyoran nodded, ”I can discard the previous coordinates and create a portal to a random location. That would mean losing the previous coordinates, but I guess we have no use for it, considering those Nether Devils would surely be waiting for us, trying to hunt us down.”

”Indeed. Next time you open the portal, please change the coordinates and definitely donʼt get caught by one of them. You took Nadiaʼs doppelgangers with you to explore a bit a month ago before she could no longer use them, but now, she should be able to help you if you want to explore again. The two of you would definitely be mistaken as members of the Nether Dimension because you two have the property of nether energy within your darkness energy and death energy.”

”Yes, we have taken advantage of that to fool the Nether Devourer Beasts many times and even the other denizens.”

Nyoran giggled, ”But I wonʼt take Nadia again. She needs to rest. It would take a few weeks before she got back to full health.”

”No, thatʼs taken care of by our medical team.” Davis said proudly, ”On the other hand, you need to stay alive for us. Canʼt have you leaving alone or finding you dead somewhere.”

”Hoho? Are you saying that Iʼm important to you?” Nyoran placed her hands on her waist and looked at him with raised brows, her expression half teasing and half expectant.

”Very much so.” Davis nodded, ”You are very important to our survival. I might bind you to me once and for all.”

”…” Nyoran blinked.

What did that mean? Was she going to be a slave or…

Davis chuckled on seeing her go silent. He took a step towards her.

”Ah~”

Nyoran jumped back before she pointed at him, ”You… you shouldnʼt have any thoughts for me.”

”Why not?” Davis kept approaching.

”You donʼt have any romantic affection for me.”

”I might have a bit.”

”No, youʼre just lying. You need me for survival.”

”I do.”

Nyoran jumped back again when his hand almost caught her wrist.

Davis stopped, and he looked at Nyoran.

By this time, although her face was veiled, he could tell that she was blushing heavily because her ears were red. However, her eyes glared daggers, which made him wonder if he was too aggressive.

”Donʼt… come to me with that kind of intention.” Nyoran lowered her head.

”…”

Davis blinked. It seemed like he had been discourteous, making him nod.

”Understood, and I apologize for the trouble Iʼve caused. Iʼll let you handle the matters of the Nether Dimension since you have proved yourself capable.”

His reply was almost mechanical as he turned around and left. Clearly, he didnʼt expect a rejection. It seems like his guess that Nyoran may have had some feelings for him was wrong. He wondered if his Heart Intent had made a mistake back then or if she changed her mind already.

”Please visit me when you… love me as you… love them. Otherwise, I… ah~”

Davis turned to look back abruptly, and Nyoran flew away. She sounded too reserved and embarrassed to receive his touch romantically, much less his gaze.
