Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4078  Next Course Of Action

Davis was inside his cultivation chamber. However, he wasnʼt cultivating.

Instead, he was lying on the bed with his arms behind his head and his legs one over another. He seemed to be thinking a lot of things and worried about the safety of Fiora and the others.

As for Myria, he didnʼt particularly fear since Illumina was together with her.

Nonetheless, he focused on what to do next.

His cultivation had certainly hit a swamp since it wasnʼt rising as fast anymore. He was a Level Four Immortal Emperor with a base prowess that was sixteen levels higher. It almost put him at the level of mid-stage Empyreans, accurately, the Level Four Empyrean Stage.

Empyreans required a hundred thousand years to go up one level by cultivating normally, and it worsened with each level. Without having powerful resources to aid him, he was stuck here for the time being. He was sure the chaos-destruction pill the pill fairies would make for him would boost his cultivation stage as well.

However, he wasnʼt waiting for that. He didnʼt place his hopes on that ridiculous pill, so he was thinking about other ways he could increase his prowess. He had ten years to improve his cultivation and techniques.

ʼHopefully, Myria can change that…ʼ

Davis closed his eyes.

When he heard what she asked him to do, he couldnʼt help but sigh.

At that moment, it dawned on him. He didnʼt think of it when the Celestial Transcendent brought up the covenantʼs rules. After all, he was only thinking of using his own life as a sacrifice. He did indeed ruminate on finding loopholes, but with the Celestial Transcendent as an opponent, he didnʼt have much hope, so he only used his life as a bargain and thought of finding loopholes later.

Then later, with Myria telling him to remove her karmic virtue from her, it dawned on him- no, he had an inkling but didnʼt go that far.

Not only did she want to secure the highest amount of heavenly resources for him, she also wanted to face the Celestial Transcendent.

Davis didnʼt want to do it, as the more time the tribulation remained, the more Myria would be in danger. He wanted her to get out of there as soon as possible, but she remained adamant. Myria wouldnʼt listen, so he had no choice but to remove karmic virtue from her.

He couldnʼt understand since it wasnʼt like he could remove karmic burden. He could only use Karmicseizer to add or remove karmic sin and karmic virtue. Therefore, it wasnʼt up to him whether the Celestial Transcendent would appear or not.

She even wanted him to put karmic sin on her, but he absolutely denied it.

He wouldnʼt allow an Annihilative Heavenly Flame Tribulation to fall on her! Of course, he was confident she could defeat it, but the more time she spent in her tribulation, the more dangerous it would be for her, so he stood his ground.

Myria could only take a step back since he had fulfilled one of her wishes.

Nonetheless, by this time, he knew she wouldʼve completed her tribulation, so he was eagerly waiting for news from Stella or Nightveil.

Nightveil took over Mingzhiʼs little intelligence network in the Whispering Wildlands Lower Realm. It was still small, so it would take time. However, he vaguely knew that Myria already surpassed her tribulation since Stella didnʼt send a warning message through her tree body.

Therefore, he was very much relaxed.

As for Fiora, he didnʼt know when she would give birth. Until then, he knew she wouldnʼt be in danger.

While waiting, he decided to train his Essence Gathering Cultivation and finally learn Obliteration Laws. Since he was limited, he decided to train in Laws and Techniques.

Deciding on that, he didnʼt immediately exit but waited as he wanted to think of some methods to improve the cultivation of his wives.

Some were powerful, and some of them were lagging, so he wanted to focus on those who were lagging.

The biggest culprit was naturally Shea.

However, she had very little interest in cultivation, so he didnʼt think it was a bad thing. She was simply happy taking care of the children and being like the most beautiful flower in the garden. He couldnʼt do anything about it other than watch her like a lovestruck fool.

Nonetheless, he still wanted to do something for her. Even if her prowess isnʼt extraordinary, he wanted to fatten her up using cultivation resources and bring her to the Empyrean Stage. That way, she would have enough power to defend herself and the children she adored.

As for prowess, he remembered the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pills.

He still possessed a few Gilded Realm Ascendant Pills. There were still two Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill of Minor Realm obtained from Founder Zenflame.

As for the diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pills of Minor Realms, he possessed as many as six of them. Four were from Zenova Artoria, and two were from Founder Zenflame.

Among his wives, the only ones who hadnʼt obtained realm pills were Fiora, Iesha, Shea, Lanqua, Panqa, Eldia, Aila, and Mira. In essence, he did consider Mira to be one of his wives, but he also felt that she was too young even though she possessed a perfect body and was willing to mate anytime.

Nonetheless, among them, only Fiora had received a pill, but she had given hers to Natalya since she was pregnant, so he was willing to give her a pill again.

As for Yotan, she was bullied into accepting it.

As for the others, he did give four pills to Shea, Lanqua, Panqa, and Aila, but after he said those pills could be used for other purposes, they gave them back to him.

He could feel the reluctance and unwillingness in their hearts, except Shea, who was more embarrassed to receive it than lose it. Honestly, he had never seen a woman more humble than Shea. In her life, she had probably been only greedy for him and him alone.

Perhaps it was karmaʼs way of thanking her and throwing her into a pit. After all, he was a Divergent, and common sense would dictate getting together with him was bad luck, much less being impregnated with his child.

Regardless, after that episode, he managed to acquire more realm pills from Founder Zenflame, so he had more than enough to give them.

Because he had been too busy going around, he couldnʼt hand it over to them, but now, he had time. He wanted to go visit Shea now.

Nonetheless, this left Iesha and Eldia. He still possessed enough pills to give them. This would clear all the stock of diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill of Minor Realm, leaving him with two full undiluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pills of Minor Realm.

He wanted to dilute one pill into five and keep the other undiluted pill for a powerful ally.

Tina and Dalila gladly obliged and diluted one out of the two last remaining Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill of Minor Realm.

There were five new diluted pills.

He gave one to Lereza and one to Illumina and gave the rest to Fenren, Soaren, and Andiron.

He absolutely needed their power if they were going to help him in his greedy nature to protect all while surviving. Therefore, he didnʼt hold back and gave them.

Now, there was only one Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill of Minor Realm left. His wish was to give it a powerful ally, or he could dilute it too and bestow it to his children. He kept it for now.

Deciding on some things to do, he walked out and headed towards Shea and the others.

But just around that time, he got the news that Myria successfully surpassed her Immortal Emperor Heavenly Tribulation, making him joyous!
