Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4048  Still An Idea

”A Starshard Luminous Wolf with a life attribute and an Eclipsed Void Turtle with a karmic attribute. You really are going too far with your experimentations.”

Myria exhaled while yawning at his audacity. She knew it wasnʼt anything new but was astonished once again.

”Aye.” Davis had a humble expression, ”If magical beast blood can mix beyond many races and species and change according to the environment in a million or vast number of periods, then what Iʼm doing is just artificially recreating and forcing the evolution to take place.”

”Well, you did succeed with changing Soaren from a Golden Crow to an Infernal Sunfire Crow, deviating from the natural progression to the Inferno Golden Crow, and even made him a variant Infernal Sunfire Crow, causing him to become an Anarchic Divergent who can wield yin flames with a strange annihilative yang fusion.”

”Yeah, heʼs calling it yin-yang flames, but it isnʼt that. Itʼs just yin flames that have undergone Yang Fusion. However, he did come up with a new name for this new variant called the Infernal Devilflame Crow. I like it.” Davis grinned as he remembered the Goldturd Infernal Crow.

”Name aside,” Myria continued, ”Thatʼs almost three layers of changes that strayed from natural progression. Iʼll give you ten points if it werenʼt for that cauldron roasting you did and harmed yourself in the process.”

”…” Davis had no words to say.

He could think of no other way other than to refine the annihilative heavenly yang into Soaren using the cauldron.

However, he smiled as he could feel her praise in that statement.

”So what do you intend to use to force Fenren and Andironʼs evolutions? I guess it wouldnʼt be that difficult since itʼs only two layers of changes considering Starshard Luminous Wolf and Eclipsed Void Turtle is their natural progression, meaning you would only have to take care of their variants.”

”True.” Davis responded, ”I already have an idea, but itʼs not quite realistic. The chances are less than what I perceived for Soaren, and it is bound to anger a few of you.”

Myria couldnʼt help but smile while still having her eyes closed, ”Is this about the resources big sister and the others brought back from the Candidacy?”

”Not exactly, but yes.”

He turned to look at Everlight, ”Has the dewdrops from Eternal Bloom Vine been harvested?”

”…”

Everlight was still focusing on reading the scrolls. She appeared to have not heard Davis.

On the other hand, Myria knew what the Eternal Bloom Vine was.

It was the Life Law Treasure that Isabella brought back from the Mystical Herb Mansion in the Candidacy.

Most of the treasures that have been brought back have been used.

For example, Shirley brought back the Yin-Yang Law Treasure, Space Law Treasure, and Time Law Treasure from the second and third floors. They were the Duality Anarchy-Harmony Vine, Vast Nebula Orchid, and Four-Colored Temporal Clover.

Of these treasures, Duality Anarchy-Harmony Vine was planted to grow more of them, Vast Nebular Orchid was reserved for Stella, and the Four-Colored Temporal Clover was stashed in the Treasury.

In the same way, Evelynn brought back the Five Elements Law Treasure, Chaos Law Treasure, Death Law Treasure, and Karma Law Treasure. Isabella brought back the Destruction Law Treasure, Life Law Treasure, and Yin Law Treasure.

These treasures were Divine Jade Cicada Fruit, Fickleweaver Karmic Lotus, Ruinbloom Cataclysmic Pear, and the Deadpan Yin Hyacinth. This only left the Life Law Treasure, Eternal Bloom Vine, and finally, the Death Law Treasure.

Of these resources, Divine Jade Cicada Fruit, Ruinbloom Cataclysmic Pear, and one Duality Harmony-Anarchy Vine of the many that were growing was going to be used to make the chaos-destruction pill.

Tia used the Fickleweaver Karmic Lotus for her cultivation and the mini-realmʼs defenses, in addition to concealing the prison, which was no longer there.

As for the Deadpan Yin Hyacinth, it was with Natalya, but its seeds were used to force Soarenʼs evolution to deviate from his natural progression.

”What happened to the Nethergrave Black Rose?” Myria asked about the Death Law Treasure.

”Both the Eternal Bloom Vine and Nethergrave Black Rose are in Everlightʼs care. It is way more difficult to recreate them, so they are being nurtured to produce more dewdrops and more thorns that carry their life essence and death essence. As long as I have these dewdrops from the Eternal Bloom Vine, I think I can induce a variant in Fenrenʼs Starshard Luminous Wolf Bloodline. As for how it integrates into his bloodline, thatʼs the problem. Life energy wonʼt force anything, so it will only nourish the body instead. Thatʼs why I think it is necessary to slash him with the Nethergrave Black Roseʼs thorns to push him to the brink of death and then use the dewdrops, forcing the body to integrate with it in order to push out the death essence from the body.”

”…”

Myriaʼs brows twitched. That was too cruel.

”Iʼm not sure how successful it would be. Thatʼs why I went to Soaren first because I felt the method I used on him was appropriate, but for Fenren, introducing death energy is dangerous. The chances he would die are higher since I wouldnʼt be refining it in him using the cauldron but leaving him to his own devices. So he must endure the death energy for days and then finally use the dewdrops to overcome it and evolve. Fortunately, the Eternal Life Bloom is a resource that is not only used to create the greatest healing pill known to immortals but is also used in evolutions when creating beast-specific pills, so its dewdrops would also be largely helpful in inducing Fenrenʼs evolution.”

”The plan seems… acceptable,” Myria commented indifferently.

Davis could only make a wry expression, ”As for Andiron, he poses the greatest difficulty. Tia ended up using every karmic treasure, and even the ones remaining need to be used for realm defenses. I simply donʼt know what to use other than having a few wild ideas, including using that piece of treasure I tore and gave you.”

”…!”

Myria shot up and looked at him with wide eyes, ”You canʼt be serious…”

Davis couldnʼt help but smile, ”This is what I meant when I said a few others might get angry.”

”You-” Myriaʼs voice lowered, ”You canʼt use this treasure on someone, even if it is for improving them.”

”I know.” Davis nodded, ”I know. Thatʼs why itʼs still an idea. Iʼm not going to do something just because I thought of it.”

”…” Myria lowered her head before she looked at him with determined eyes.

”Leave it to me. Using the method you used on Katherine, Soaren, and Fenren, I will come up with a method to make him a variant that can produce karmic energy. As long as Andiron becomes a karmic turtle according to the myths like the Daedalian Guardian Turtle, then he would be a great addition to the realm defenses, and hopefully, you will have to be rarely worried about not having enough karmic treasures to fuel the karmic veil.”

Davis nodded, ”Yes, if Fenren also learns life energy, then I do not need to endanger you or Everlight for dangerous tasks outside that require healing.”

However, he frowned, ”I know you can do it with your vast knowledge, but youʼre already busy. Let me take care of it.”

”Then weʼll both try to come up with ideas. If it sounds apt, we can try it.”

”Sure, only my friends are going to suffer.” Davis grinned.

Myriaʼs face almost cracked into a huge smile, but she knew not to laugh at otherʼs misery.

She felt like she had enough rest and got out of the bed.

Standing straight and having a firm pose, she raised her hands and summoned two different energies.

Literally, three tries later, she fused life and karmic energy, causing Davis to whistle as he was highly impressed. That was even faster than him, but considering he paved the way and taught her personally, he could say it was as expected of Myria, the woman who mastered many Laws, including Karma Laws.

Now, she finally comprehended Evolution Laws!
