Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4083  Strange Calling

”Darling, Iʼm sure youʼre glad that Fiora gave birth without complications, but letʼs not stand here…” Natalya suggested, ”Fiora should rest. She hasnʼt closed her eyes ever since she gave birth.”

”Oh…! Sorry. Letʼs head back.”

Davis took Fiora back to her quarters.

He kept considering if he should have Myria return without doing so much work. As long as she was back, he would be satisfied. If this mini-realm was found, then he would have way much fun killing Empyreans and Autarchs although he guessed he could be schemed against as well.

One kill below the Empyrean Stage was all it took for him to die.

He could already imagine thousands of ways that would happen, one extremely simple idea being that they could just throw a criminal at him when he unleashes his power.

However, he had his ways of dealing with these schemes, so he wasnʼt worried.

Once he had Fiora rest in her quarters, everyone heard the news and swarmed her. Many people came out of seclusion, and when he walked out, his mother basically pushed him away and ran to her new grandson, who appeared extremely excited.

”Itʼs Davis reborn! I swear Arc looked like Davis when I held baby Davis in my hands that day!” Claire couldnʼt be anymore happier.

Davis chuckled and Fiora was more happier to hear that she had produced a carbon copy of Davis.

For the moment, it wasnʼt revealed Arc didnʼt have any specialty, so everyone was curious but didnʼt ask since it would be known later.

Davis didnʼt care that Arc wasnʼt special. He loved his son regardless, but if others frowned, it might make Fiora sorrowful, so he temporarily put a silent ban on talking about his talent. Basically, changing the topic.

No one would dare to pry it out anyway.

Once he was outside, Natalya approached him. She held his hand and shot a charming smile at him.

Davis reached out his hand and caressed her cheek, ”Donʼt worry. One day, you will also have a wonderful child with me. Itʼs only a matter of time.”

Natalya beamed. She shook her head, ”Iʼm not at all disturbed or jealous. In fact, with Fiora having given birth and my familyʼs lineage has been secured, I think I can finally leave.”

”Uh?” Davis gave off a sound of incomprehension.

He couldnʼt understand what she said. His eyes narrowed, ”C-Could it be that your Forsaken Yin Lotus Cultivation Manual is finally causing you to change? Has the yin corruption from the manualʼs philosophies cracked your Will?”

Natalyaʼs expression turned indifferent. Her black eyes turned colder.

”…!” Davisʼs heart shook.

He was just about to use Heart Intent when she suddenly cracked a teasing smile and giggled.

”Hehe~ Got you~”

”You-” He was speechless.

Natalya quickly held his hand more firmly and annexed him between her wonderful bosoms.

”Darling, ever since I reached Level Six Immortal Emperor Stage, I feel like I need to go somewhere.”

”Oh?” Davis raised his brows, ”Could it be to the Forsaken Yin Lower Realm? Oh, wasnʼt it now called the Frozen Wasteland Lower Realm ever since the Forsaken Yin Sect fell?”

”I think so.” Natalya nodded, ”Otherwise, I donʼt know where exactly Iʼm being called to. In fact, this feeling has always been vague. I couldnʼt tell what it was until I reached Level Four Immortal Emperor Stage, and the more levels I breezed through, the more I felt being called. I asked Tia about it, and she said it is some kind of karmic calling prevalent in sects or powers who wanted to retrieve, conserve, or preserve their inheritances. Therefore, chances are that Iʼm being invited to the Frozen Wasteland Lower Realm by some kind of phenomenon caused by an object, perhaps a Legacy Artifact.”

”A broken Legacy Artifact perhaps…” Davis added.

After all, the Forsaken Yin Sect was said to have fallen into ruins. If it fell, then its Legacy Artifacts must also have been destroyed or, at the very least, broken.

”Do you want to go there?” He asked the question that Natalya wanted to hear.

She took a deep breath and nodded, ”Although I am not entirely enthusiastic about cultivation, I cannot lag behind Evelynn and the others. I need to get strong and protect our family like they do. I wonʼt sit back and continue to whale away your resources just by being the second wife. Help me this time, darling~”

She began seriously, but by the end, she began using her charms on him and made a puppy face.

”Of course, my dear seductress.”

Davis swooned, having no resistance against her. However, he didnʼt forget himself and raised a finger.

”But I will not allow multiple people to be outside at the same time, so let Myria return first, and Iʼll have Illumina or Lereza accompany you.”

”Thank you so much, darling!~”

Natalya jumped and kissed him, placing a lot of kisses on his cheek before she ran away, going back to Fiora.

Davis blinked. He thought Natalya would want more, but he was proven otherwise. His Natalya had become more sensible and mature. During peaceful times, she would be all over him, but during survival, she made sure to have everything in order first.

After Natalya left, Shea entered Fioraʼs room.

He stood outside in a concealed state, thinking of what to do now that the situation had changed. He finally had a taste of worry, knowing how worried his women must be when he was outside. This feeling made him want to break through the heavens and get there to protect Myria.

Suddenly, there was a commotion inside.

Davis saw this using his soul sense, and it seemed that Shea had gifted the diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill to Fiora.

She used birthing Arc as an excuse to gift Fiora.

Fiora and everyone were stunned. Naturally, Sheaʼs intentions were doubted, but somehow, they quickly believed she was truly gifting Fiora out of the goodness in her heart.

Fiora was unable to accept it, but Shea acted like a senior and did not take it back. This scene was very comedic but gratifying for him. He etched in his heart to do something for Shea later on. She wasnʼt exactly lazy. She had been a powerful junior in her Golden Crow Clan but her lifelong wish was for her to have a family and not cultivation.

He could respect that side of her, but still, he was determined to make her powerful so no one could harm her.

Soon, Fiora accepted the gift with a difficult expression. It was similar to his own, the face of wanting to repay Sheaʼs goodwill.

A few minutes later, Tina and Dalila rushed towards Fioraʼs room.

It seems like they got the message and have stopped or finished their pill-concocting session. He wanted to talk to them. However, he didnʼt disturb them as he knew they would want to see Arc first.

He waited for them to come out from Fioraʼs chamber when suddenly a spirit fairy roamed in the hallway, looking pretty tired.

Davisʼs brows raised with eagerness as he saw her. He appeared in front of her and revealed himself.

”Master~” A soft and melodious voice came from the spirit fairy. It was full of longing and surprise.

In front of him was an ethereal beauty whose slender frame was draped in a cerulean robe that shimmered like mimicking the iridescence of a gemstone. She had emerald eyes and long crystalline hair radiating a captivating luminosity of finely extending crystalline filaments, each strand glistening with a soft, blue-green glow reminiscent of a gemstone.

She was none other than Epsila, the Soulforge Elevation Resonance Pill. She was an Exalted-Tier Pill, a pill spirit who can cultivate. She was literally a pill fairy!

”Epsila, have you been a good girl?”

”Yes~” Epsila sweetly replied, ”I always listened to Myria, Tina and Dalila. Together, we have created countless pills. Whenever they are exhausted, they can use my pill essence to regain their energy. I also take care of the Reaper Soul Legion. Yotan and the souls of others have become too powerful~”

”Is that so? Thatʼs excellent and praiseworthy.”

Davis couldnʼt help but smile brightly.

Epsilaʼs pill essence helped people raise their Soul Forging Cultivation faster, so the Reaper Soul Legion reached the Late Stage Immortal Emperor. Together, they might be able to handle a Level One Empyrean with their battle formations.

However, it wasnʼt like Epsila focused too much on them.

Most of her focus went to making pills. After all, it used too much soul force. There was no way Myria, Tina, and Dalila wouldʼve kept their rate of pill concoction even with their massive energy reserves if it were not for Epsila. Tina had the most energy, so she was barely fine. Myria became exhausted, but Dalila suffered the most.

Epsila always stuck with her, so she was able to help them out a lot.

Davis suddenly thought.

He couldnʼt help but call for Lanqua, who was in Fioraʼs room.

Once Lanqua heard his summons, she quickly exited and appeared by his side.

”What should I do?” Her gaze flickered, and her tail swung happily.

Davis coughed a bit. He was embarrassed.

”I know I just gave the diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill to you, but if you… if you really donʼt want it, can you give it to Epsila?”

”…”

Lanqua turned her head and cast a good look at Epsila. She was stunned, even shaken. This pill fairy appeared to be almost as strong as her or even more.
