Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4095  Correlation With Soul Quintessence

”Ellia~”

Davis and Myria were pleasantly surprised as they looked at the white-robed Ellia. She flew towards them with an innocent smile, looking like a child who wanted to be praised. As soon as she landed, she took out a scroll and handed it to them.

She didnʼt say anything but merely gestured with her beautiful eyes. It sparked a wave of warmth in their hearts as they knew this lass was working hard in seclusion, researching techniques and other things except her cultivation.

Even now, she has merely reached Level Five Immortal Emperor Stage from Level Three Immortal Emperor Stage. For Elliaʼs aptitude, that was a bit slower. In their opinion, she couldʼve reached Level Six or even Level Seven Immortal Emperor Stage easily.

”What did you bring us, my dear wifey?”

Davis curiously asked as he accepted the scroll and opened it.

[Verdant Vitalis Avatar Technique]

”This is…” Davis and Myriaʼs eyes narrowed when suddenly they noticed.

*Whoosh!~*

Another Ellia appeared in front of them as she sent a flying kiss to them.

The two of them were shocked to see two Ellia in front of them. One was the main body, and the other was the avatar. However, it wasnʼt the Solitary Soul Avatar, but its makeup was such that it felt so similar.

Myriaʼs expression was the most shaken because she knew what this meant.

”Hehe~” Ellia giggled pridefully, ”I created a new avatar technique based on the Solitary Soul Avatar Technique as the main and various other avatar techniques as references. It doesnʼt require anything other than the soul essence like the Solitary Soul Avatar, but it can only be used by the three of us, or at the very least, elder sister Myria and myself.”

Davis and Myria kept their gaze on the new Ellia.

They could feel an overwhelming sensation of life energy stemming from the new avatar.

They knew the implications of this avatar as they were now capable of forming avatars even in the Empyrean Stage. Even Davis could probably do it since his reincarnation physique could produce life energy.

”You-” Myria appeared flabbergasted, ”Did you take care of the soul matter? Unlike Davis, we share the same truesoul, in other words, the soul quintessence that could be conjured in the Empyrean Stage. Thatʼs why we havenʼt been able to create an avatar all this time, but if you managed to create an avatar…”

Ellia blinked, ”What do you mean ʼunlike Davisʼ?”

”…!”

Myria almost jumped, but by this time, she had regained her composure, ”I meant that Davisʼs soul physique is similar to ours but not the same.”

”Oh. Yeah, weʼre the same, and yes, I managed to clear the deficiency weʼre experiencing without your help.”

Ellia took out another scroll and handed it over to Myria, who opened it.

[Inspirited Truesoul Reanimation Technique]

”This technique allowed me to rekindle my soul imprint, which you split during our separation in order to create me and implant it in your other body, which you created through sacrificing your own truesoul-”

”Ellia…!”

Davis and Myria were given another shock, but Ellia continued to yap off. Myria stopped her from saying more, but Davis frowned.

He turned to look at Myria, wondering if she had an injured truesoul.

Myria turned to look at him and quickly consoled him, ”Donʼt worry. After I fuse my Eternal Life Body and Eternal Life Soul, that would not be a problem anymore. My soul quintessence will be completely healed by the time I enter the Empyrean Stage. In fact, it had fully healed already when I created the Eternal Life Body, and the cycle between the two physiques naturally healed my truesoul. Weʼre practically unkillable, remember…? Itʼs because our soul quintessence is nearly undying.”

”…”

Davis could only watch his Myria try to console him, finding her cute, but he maintained his stern expression.

”You two couldnʼt possibly split your truesoul at the Immortal Stage. Was it because Saintess Lunaria helped you two?”

”Yes.” Myria and Ellia answered solemnly.

It appeared as though they didnʼt want to sadden him.

”I see.” Davis nodded.

It was said that the soul quintessence could only be found when one reaches the Empyrean Stage or equivalent. He and Myria were exceptions who had a life-and-death or reincarnation physique, which brought the soul quintessence to a corporeal form in lower stages.

If he were to think of another exception, it would be Ellia, who split from Myria, and Saintess Lunaria, who split from the World Master.

Considering World Masterʼs achievements, she wouldʼve naturally split her soul quintessence long ago when she mimicked Myriaʼs soul reincarnation process to create a suitable successor for Fallen Heaven, so Saintess Lunaria is a true individual with her own soul quintessence.

He knew this was true since Saintess Lunaria was marked as the current Divine Saintess of Life and was even eyed by the Life Supreme.

Nonetheless, he felt that it wouldnʼt be strange if Saintess Lunaria were well-versed in it and helped Myria and Ellia split. After all, these two only managed to split after meeting Saintess Lunaria. They were her disciples.

”Donʼt look at me like that. It isnʼt like we donʼt harm ourselves to protect our loved ones. I only have gratitude for you to decide to split Ellia safely and give her a body. My life wouldʼve been incomplete if even either one of you were not here.”

”…” Ellia blushed as she pursed her lips and looked away.

On the other hand, Myria pouted, ”You didnʼt care for me that much at that time. In fact, I remember you hating me to-”

”Hehem~” Davis coughed, ”That was nothing but a prelude to our romantic journey.”

”You-” Myria really felt like pinching this rogue.

He had his way with words that shut them up. However, she was satisfied, so she didnʼt argue with him.

Davis gazed at them. It was his first time looking at them, blushing, and turning away in opposite directions. The very sight of it charmed him to the core. He couldnʼt begin to imagine how wonderful it would be if he could eat them on the same bed. His appetite was stirred, but he quickly suppressed his hunger.

ʼOne day… one day I definitely will…ʼ

He inwardly made a mental note and cast his gaze on Ellia, ”You were saying?”

”Ah, yes.” Ellia moved her hair to the side and shot a proud smile, ”With the Inspirited Truesoul Reanimation Technique, it becomes possible for us to rekindle the soul imprint and condense the truesoul. For Empyreans, it should be possible to condense their soul quintessence using this same technique. We three should be able to condense our soul quintessence by now already, at least make it semi-corporeal, so we could boost our attacks more like when weʼre burning soul essence, but you should never do that since burning soul quintessence to the limit would cause permanent damage, erasing soul before it could even reach the reincarnation cycle. It would be fine for us if itʼs just a little since this technique of mine is also capable of healing soul quintessence, but I still wouldnʼt recommend doing such a thing.”

”For one, most Empyreans wonʼt even be able to sense their soul quintessence until they reach their peak, so it could be seen that it is difficult to discover and should not actually be tampered with. Two, even burning the soul quintessence lightly will result in them falling into a coma after the effect fades, sometimes even directly leading to death. Normal Empyreans would only meet these kinds of fate if they tried to burn their soul quintessence. Although it is different for us, we are not yet at a stage where we can ignore the consequences of the burning of soul quintessence, so I do not recommend doing such a thing. Alright?”

Davis and Myria nodded thrice at Ellia, treating her like she was their teacher.

Ellia was satisfied with their reactions and waved her hand, ”Then you can study the Inspirited Truesoul Reanimation Technique. As for the Verdant Vitalis Avatar Technique-”
