Chapter 252: System Donation ( 1 )

Yao Zhi read the contract for a moment and said, ”Madam, it’s better to add the amount of goods and the period of this contract.”

”Young Master Lei, do you have any suggestions?”

After she thought for a moment, Yao Zhi said, ”For the period of this contract, let’s keep it for 1 year for now. As for the amount of goods, I will provide 12,000 jins of dried mushrooms, with 2,000 jins for each type, every month.”

”For the preserved eggs, I will provide a total of 10,000 century eggs and 10,000 salted eggs each month. For pelts, I can only provide 100 pieces every month.”

Hearing this, Xue Ya’er had no objection and added the clauses to the agreement. When she finished writing two copies, she put her thumbprints on them and handed them to her.

Yao Zhi also pressed her thumbprints on the contract and said, ”I will let my people deliver the goods on the 28th day of every month.”

”Good.”

Just after they signed the contract, Steward Han arrived, followed by a group of servants. They placed the wooden boxes down and almost filled the hall.

When they opened the boxes, Lu Qianxuan was almost blinded by the gold.

He looked at his wife with a dumbfounded expression. He knew that his wife was from the richest family in Luo City, but he never expected her to be this rich.

Not noticing her husband’s shock, Xue Ya’er said, ”Young Master Lei, there are a total of 22,100 taels of gold here. This is the payment for your previous goods and also for the gel warmers. Please count it.”

Yao Zhi glanced at the glistening gold and felt her heart beating loudly with excitement. Thanks to the mask, she was able to keep her persona as a wealthy heir and keep her calm.

”There is no need to count. I trust that Madam won’t trick me over this small sum,” she replied with a smile. ”Madam, General, I have to go back to prepare the goods. So I will take my leave first,” she added with cupped fists.

Xue Ya’er nodded and returned her gesture while saying, ”Young Master Lei, walk slowly.”

Seeing her leave, Ling Shi’er followed her out. Behind them, the servants carried the heavy wooden boxes.

When they reached the gate, Steward Han asked, ”Young Master Lei, should we send this money over to your residence?”

”No need, just put it inside the carriage,” Yao Zhi refused politely.

Since she had said so, Steward Han didn’t insist. He glanced at the servants and they quickly loaded the boxes into the carriage. Fortunately, the carriage was big. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been able to carry all the boxes.

After she said goodbye to Steward Han, Yao Zhi climbed into the carriage. After the curtain and the carriage door were closed, she put all the wooden boxes into her system’s storage.

When Ling Shi’er drove the carriage, his eyes flickered for a moment.

He had already prepared himself for the carriage to move slowly due to the weight. Unexpectedly, when the horse moved, the carriage was as light as if there were no more than 22,000 taels of gold inside.

Now, he was sure that his Master had another hidden secret, a heaven-defying secret.

A few minutes later, he heard Yao Zhi say, ”Shi’er, go to the warehouse first.”

”Understood.”

While they were on the road, Yao Zhi opened her system’s shop and checked the price. To buy a total of 300,000 gel warmers, she needed 15,000 boxes, each box costing her 1,000 points, totaling 15 million points.

Right now, she has a total of 11,868,150 points. It was not enough to buy the gel warmers. Opening her system’s husbandry, she saw the number of chicken and duck eggs in the warehouse was countless.

She thought for a moment and decided to sell 30 million eggs of each type to the system’s shop. Duck eggs were 1 point each, and chicken eggs were 0.5 point each, totaling 45 million points.

After earning a lot of points, she bought 15,000 boxes of gel warmers and saw that the points were deducted again. When she was done, she checked her points and smiled with satisfaction. Now she has a total of 41,868,150 points.

Although she didn’t have many merit points, her system points were countless. If she needs points, she just sells the eggs!

Using the system’s features, she changed the cardboard boxes into bamboo boxes and stored them in her system’s storage.

Just after she was done with her shopping, a notification suddenly popped up on her blue screen.

”Attention to all platform users, the main system has detected a disaster looming above hundreds of small planes. As fellow comrades, we must help and support each other!”

”Please show your support by donating your points or goods through the platform. This donation is voluntary and not a mandatory task. For users who want to donate, you can click on the box in the top corner and input your donation.”

”On behalf of the living beings of those small planes, the main system thanks everyone!”

After she read this, Yao Zhi said, ”System, if I donate the products from my system’s farmland and husbandry, will I get anything back as a reward?”

”Host, this is a donation. Of course, you get nothing back.”

Hearing this, Yao Zhi thought for a while before she decided to donate her eggs. Besides chickens and ducks, she also has geese and turkeys in her husbandry.

One day outside was equal to thirty days inside. That means in one day, each of them would produce thirty eggs. With a total of 1 million poultry, her husbandry produces a total of 30 million eggs every day.

Even if she sold everything to the system’s shop, she couldn’t guarantee that the price wouldn’t drop. Rather than crashing the market price, it’s better to be a good person and donate them to the system.
