Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 810: Chapter 809: The Professional Clergy, Queen Who Is Miserably Disdained

Accumulating merits in battle, this has always been the unchanging principle of the Hundred Beasts, and in this turbulent era, even the Hundred Beasts Pirate Group is not short of battles, with skirmishes against the Navy, reckless rookie pirates, and bounty hunters blinded by wealth.

Although not every day, they frequently assault the outskirts of the Hundred Beasts’ territory.

Since these people want power, Shaina will give them the opportunity.

Nowadays, the Divine Favorers are generally forged through battles, even those who are picked up as high-level officials can wreak havoc in the training ground.

Luck is not absolute; Mandfeish had good fortune, but aside from luck, he himself was a former Scout Captain.

His good luck was also earned through his strength, which greatly elevated his potential, pulling him from an ordinary official to the level of a high-level official.

”We..”

”Yes, Lady Shaina! They are all ready!”

One person seemed a little hesitant, but his companion immediately covered his mouth and gave him a wild look, and then they agreed to the matter.

He let out a long sigh as he watched Shaina’s departing figure.

”Idiot! How dare you say such things at this time! Didn’t anyone tell you what you should be careful about?!”

”Just a little complaint....”

”You can complain in private, but in occasions like this... I saw you seemed to want to refuse just now.”

”After all....”

”No ’after all,’ do you think this is just anywhere? This is the Hundred Beasts! That is Lord Arceus’s confidant, do you few still want to resist what she has decided? Following obediently won’t cause any trouble, it will be over after a few battles.

If you’re afraid and refuse to go at this time, then you’re really doomed.”

He knew what those people were worried about, nothing more than being afraid of offending the officials and being taken as cannon fodder, but that was just overthinking it.

There is no place here where you can’t say anything, it won’t come to being sent to die just by complaining, but, since you’re dissatisfied, you have to participate in more missions.

Generally, the one who complains will be assigned tasks of similar level, and once they pass, they will receive what they deserve.

Merely dissatisfied verbally without taking physical action, not daring to engage in battles, this behavior is the ultimate taboo of the Hundred Beasts.

If they refuse, then they are truly in trouble.

”You guys better work hard, right, don’t be scared to move forward, otherwise....”

There was no need to say more, but they all knew what would happen afterward.

At this time, the Divine Blessing Ceremony had already officially begun, and they were just unlucky.

Usually, gossiping might not be noticed, but during the Divine Blessing Ceremony, the officials are typically around Arceus or Kaidou.

But this time was different, the Divine Blessing Ceremony welcomed a more professional host - Misu.

As a nun, she had led countless prayers with believers, whether in past religions or now in the Arceus Sect.

Just now, she didn’t stand behind a cold stone statue, but a real deity.

”The Lord witnesses your efforts, and your efforts will be rewarded, the Lord will grant you power...”

Misu chanted a somewhat lengthy prayer, and unlike pirates who love excitement, it was very quiet below at this moment, and this batch of Divine Favorers were all devoutly kneeling, waiting for the power granted by Arceus.

No external means were needed, a few streams of light surged from within Arceus and finally entered the bodies of the Divine Favorers.

”She really is suitable for doing this.”

On the other side of the high platform, after reprimanding a few pirates, Shaina arrived here, discussing the Divine Blessing Ceremony hosted by Misu with King.

”Indeed, Queen turned Lord Beast’s ceremony into a street performance, now it looks much more solemn.”

The ceremony hosted by Queen, though splendid, could ignite the ordinary pirates with enthusiasm, but for the two remnants of the Lunarians Race, it felt overdone.

Misu didn’t add any extra things, she just slightly adjusted the mechanical roof of Ghost Island, the sprinkled sunlight happened to form a unique light screen with the glow from the Plate, creating this solemn scene.

In battles hundreds of years ago, the Lunarians Race’s priests fought on the front lines, so much so that the priestly traditions were not passed down, otherwise, Shaina and King might still help out.

However, both of them are not suited to this sort of thing, so it was previously handed over to Queen, and at that time they thought Queen did alright, but after having a comparison, their mindset shifted.

”Hey, hey, hey! Can you two stop acting as if I don’t exist?!”

”Oh, sorry, won’t talk about it in front of you next time.”

Shaina gave him a calm reply, causing a highly effective blow that left Queen silent.

...

”Is this... the power given by the gods?”

The light had already dissipated at this moment, looking at the new members wrapped in elements, getting familiar with their abilities.

This was the first time Kozuki Hiyori had seen this scene prompting her to ask, and nearby, Drake provided an answer.

Kozuki Hiyori made a new choice, but not everyone in the Hundred Beasts had accepted her, Drake was here mainly because he was taking advantage of Kikunojo.

”Of course, this is only part of Lord Arceus’s power, and according to the nun, this isn’t even Lord Arceus’s peak state.”

”God.....”

Kozuki Hiyori fell into contemplation again, and nobody knew what she was truly thinking.

...

”Not bad, you guys, come show me exactly what sort of power Father Lord has given you.”

Seeing her subordinates one by one obtaining powers, Yamato’s face also lit up with a smile, Speed and the other two gaining powers wasn’t because they followed her, although these three were her direct subordinates, it didn’t mean they needed to stick to her all the time.

These were accumulated bit by bit through battles against other forces.

”Speed is modified, so let’s start with Mizerka.”

”Yes, Miss Yamato, just a moment, I’m not very familiar with this power yet.”

The blonde-haired Mizerka responded, among them, her attire was exceptionally sparse, not much different from a bikini swimsuit.

At this moment, Mizerka was using her mind to manipulate the energy within her body.

Her originally golden short hair gradually turned blue, and the exposed skin was gradually covered by fur, a fluffy tuft of white fur appeared on her chest, and a blue tail emerged behind her.

After her transformation was complete, it seemed like she was wearing more clothing.

The overall appearance suggested an ape, but just looking at the lower half could give a lion-like impression.

The Water-Type Pokemon - Simipour.

An odd-sounding classification, though it doesn’t refer to them holding back in battle, but having a special drainage organ.
