Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 804: Chapter 803: Peerless Reaper

”Use the Prison bomb! That guy is a Logia-type ability user! Do I need to remind you?!”

To deal with ability users, the Navy developed special ammunition that fires a Seastone net. The iron net fixed with Seastone can bind the actions of ability users upon contact, achieving the effect of a small prison, which is why it’s named the Prison bomb.

The firing speed of the Prison bomb is slow, so it’s usually difficult to hit pirates with bounties over a hundred million directly. The Navy’s routine is still to wear down their stamina with regular cannonballs before considering the use of Prison bombs.

Due to the price of Seastone, the cost of Prison bombs remains high. Even though the nets can be recycled, there is wear and loss, so Prison bombs are not frequently used equipment, and the quantity is limited.

If they use them all up first, they lose their countermeasure. However, that’s the method for dealing with Zoan and Paramecia-type ability users. Against Logia-types, cannonballs can’t be used to wear them down.

Ace is their primary capture target, and intercepting a Super Rookie at the Shampodi Islands would be a significant achievement. In this situation, it’s unnecessary to clash head-on with pirates from the New World.

According to the original timeline, there was still a vacancy in the Seven Warlords of the Sea at this time. Ace, as a rising star and a rare Logia-type ability user, under the proposal of the Navy-version Iscariot, was invited to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

The original timeline’s Iscariot naturally didn’t have this capability. At this time, that report caught Garp’s attention. He originally hoped that Ace and Luffy could both become Navy members, but they went down the path of piracy.

Compared to ordinary pirates, Garp thought the position of the Seven Warlords of the Sea was slightly more suitable, so he lent a small hand in secret.

However, Ace was completely uninterested in the Seven Warlords of the Sea and directly rejected the invitation.

But now it’s different. The expansion of the Hundred Beasts accelerated the struggle at The Sea, and the Seven Warlords of the Sea were already full. At the same time, he lost his guide, making it impossible to accept the invitation of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and becoming merely a significant threat as a pirate.

However, in the eyes of the Navy, a pirate who hasn’t entered the New World, even if a Logia-type ability user, poses a far lesser threat than the cadres of the Sea Emperors. Capturing them together would be best, but if not, it’s not something to force, which is why they brought all the Prison bombs.

”It seems you have agreed.”

When the Navy began changing ammunition, Ace didn’t get a reply from Iscariot, nor was he attacked.

In this situation, he thought Iscariot tacitly approved of this demand.

”I admit I have a slightly changed opinion of you, but the pirates of Paradise are still so naive. Rami, handle this, it’s time to retreat.”

”Leave it to me, Sister Iscariot.”

Different people have different focal points. Iscariot is not good at group battles. She lacks wide area AOE skills—not that she didn’t have any, but such attacks are hard to control without repercussions.

Iscariot doesn’t like that. Unlike Iscariot, Rami is more suited to this kind of combat.

...

”Move quickly!”

There is a difference in strength between Navy branches as well. The Four Seas Branch and the Grand Line Branch can’t be compared.

But the distinction between branches in the Grand Line is significant, such as G-5, which is the most notorious Navy branch.

The Navy at Shampodi doesn’t have a separate number, but they are definitely the most chaotic group in the Grand Line.

The ambush didn’t succeed. The two groups of pirates even stopped fighting, which for him wasn’t a good sign. The enemy of the enemy can ally, a basic principle understood even by pirates.

Of course, the development of things was entirely different from what he expected. Just as he wanted to command his subordinates to continue attacking, a girl suddenly appeared in front of him. Moments ago, Iscariot was in front of Ace, but now she was in front of the Junior Admiral.

”Bullet-Striking Fist.”

Her twin pincers swung out into crimson afterimages, continuously pounding the Junior Admiral in the chest, followed by a side kick that sent him flying into the dilapidated ruins nearby.

The already crumbling and tattered structure collapsed under the impact, burying the Junior Admiral inside.

”Junior Admiral!”

Even the surrounding deputies didn’t react to what had happened. In battle, he had no time to check on his superior’s condition because a bigger problem had already appeared within the ranks.

A colorful figure flickered amidst the Navy’s ranks, wielding two liquid whips effortlessly. But those soldiers who were touched by the whip stiffly fell to the ground within 10 seconds.

Like mowing wheat, soldiers fell, and every time their attention focused on one point, that figure would shift to a new spot. Although he couldn’t use it himself, the deputy could immediately tell what kind of movement this was.

”Soru?! How do you know that technique?”

”Are you a big shot here for glory? No enemy will explain these things to you.”

Iscariot didn’t even intend to attack him, as one hand was already resting on his shoulder.

”Have a good sleep, Mr. Navy.”

Rami patted him on the back of the neck, and the liquid quickly seeped into his skin. Within seconds, he felt the same as the soldiers.

The numbing sensation reached his central nervous system, and soon he lost consciousness, collapsing to the ground.

”Sister Iscariot, I was faster this time.”

”I didn’t act because I saw you coming.”

This was their cooperation. Iscariot handled the strongest combat leaders, while Rami used her ability to quickly clean out the foot soldiers. She was one of Who’s-Who’s first successful graduates, using the Rokushiki flexibly.

Due to her abilities, she focused on Soru, using near-teleportation to move through the crowd and then using synthesized toxins within her body to incapacitate enemies.

A troop of several hundred was a matter of a few minutes for her.

...

At this moment, Ace was still maintaining his punching stance. Even he would choose to retreat when facing the Navy. Originally, he intended to break out, but he didn’t expect Iscariot and Rami to wipe the opponents out completely, leaving him without a chance to act.

This was why Iscariot said he was naive; facing Navy of this level, she didn’t need anyone else’s help.

”Stop staring. Now trouble has come back to us...”

”Dues? Are you okay?”

”I don’t know. That girl tapped me, and I could move again. It’s not important; don’t you think about how to wrap this up?”

Having dealt with the surrounding Navy in a few minutes, Iscariot’s gaze returned to Ace.

”We’ll let this go for this time, you can leave.”

Seeing the other party had no intention of entangling, Dues hastily tried to pull Ace away, but Ace’s steps wouldn’t budge.

”Can you tell me, where are you taking those kids?”
