Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 691: Chapter 690: Wrong Again—Daring to Use Leavanny’s Tailoring Services Next Time

Setsuna was accompanied by a Leavanny. In terms of the number of babysitters, Miaona and Wolf didn’t have much of an advantage, but in terms of variety, they were richer than Yamato back then, because their personalities were too mischievous.

The Leavanny was specifically requested from Arceus by Zeraora to handle a special issue, prepared for possible occurrences.

Her free-range policy remained the same, only these two children seemed to have inherited her excellent genes, being extremely free-spirited.

Perona and Kuma, Rei and Hatch, Ludicolo, Wanda, Zeraora, and Setsuna herself would watch over the children, but sometimes they would let them play on their own, and whenever that happened, they’d vanish without a trace.

After being caught and brought back, they’d behave well under a bit of guidance, but if they misbehaved again, they would generally say, ”I made a mistake, but I dare next time again.”

Previously, Setsuna let them play freely, and by chance, they met Kojiro’s Little Ka. The modifications to Growlithe made Little Ka’s body very robust, with a lifespan already exceeding that of ordinary dogs.

And the Fur Race is closer to mammals, coupled with Arceus’s modification power on Little Ka, they quickly became familiar with each other.

When Setsuna went out to call them back for dinner, the two little ones were already riding a dog, having run off somewhere unknown.

Following the scent and footprints, Setsuna arrived at the door of Kojiro’s house. Outside the sea had Gyarados and Mareanie, and in the sky Altaria and Corviknight, they certainly wouldn’t leave Wano Kuni.

Given these conditions, they wouldn’t encounter any danger. Despite their young age, with their current skills combined with Little Ka, ordinary people wouldn’t be able to handle them.

Seeing it was Kojiro’s house, she didn’t break in but calmly contacted the owner.

Kojiro didn’t live here, but thanks to his wealth, there were still servants retained in this residence. He had just had the butler inform the housekeeper here, so Setsuna wouldn’t need to jump over the wall, as the door was opened from inside.

”Setsuna, Master Kojiro said you could search freely, there’s no place you can’t go.”

”But... we’ve been inside all along and haven’t seen anyone run in.”

”You all continue with your tasks, I will take care of it quickly.” Smelling the air, she could already determine that the two little ones were indeed here.

She declined the servant’s offer to guide her, following the lingering scent to a slightly smaller building. If she remembered correctly, this was Kojiro’s doghouse.

He himself was unmarried, but Little Ka already had a harem here, living with dozens of descendants; among them were his favorites, and within Wano Kuni, many places housed Little Ka’s offspring.

Only none inherited the ability of Eruption, just having more excellent physique, meanwhile, mixed within the dog pack were a cat fur and a wolf fur.

Wolf and Miaona were playing happily with these dogs, but Setsuna wasn’t too pleased seeing the situation.

”Miaona! Wolf! Get out here!!”

She emitted an intimidating aura, and sensing it, the little dogs made way, while Little Ka looked at her innocently, as if saying, ”Weren’t you the one who let me play with them?”

Wolf and Miaona were also stiffened; facing Setsuna, they had no capability to resist, knowing staying put was the best way to avoid punishment, choosing this every time caught red-handed.

....

”Alright, I’m taking them home; you can play together next time.”

Setsuna stroked Little Ka’s head, carrying one kid in each hand, intending to bring them back. Even oblivious of what they’d done, the two Fur Race kids were now like muddy monkeys.

The brand-new clothes prepared for the morning were now unrecognizable; after inquiring the household servant about the location of the bathroom, she temporarily borrowed it, scrubbing the two children clean.

...

After washing, Leavanny’s abilities came into play; once Wolf was dried by Setsuna, he found his sister had changed into a completely new outfit.

Leavanny’s body was beige, slender, walking on two legs as a Bug Type + Grass Type Pokemon. Entirely dressed in leaf-stitched garments, the edges of its leafy hands resembled knives with semi-circular notches.

Classified as nurturing Pokemon, possessing a very strong maternal instinct.

In the wild, when it encounters young Pokemon or Pokemon eggs, it will protect them.

Not only can it incubate eggs using the temperature generated by fermenting fallen leaves but will also sew clothes for other Pokemon.

The leaf blades on its hands and the silk threads sprayed from its mouth are its tools for sewing, a behavior seen regardless of gender.

In the wild, Leavanny can only make use of local materials, creating clothes from large leaves, but here, it can utilize more materials, becoming natural tailors.

The previous two towels were now close-fitting outfits, heavily styled in an Arabic fashion.

These two little ones were too rough while playing, damaging clothes often, so Zeraora applied to Arceus for a Leavanny; it could help with babysitting and solve similar problems.

Meanwhile, Setsuna began her educational work.

”Remember, absolutely no sneaking through dog holes when there’s no reason! Next time you come here to play, enter through the front door properly, got it?”

Punching Wolf’s cheeks, Setsuna repeatedly emphasized this issue. From their feedback, Little Ka had brought them in directly through the doghole, which is why no one noticed them.

And this was something Fur Races should pay attention to; they can get close to animals, but shouldn’t really see themselves as beasts.

”Mama, does that mean we can use the dog holes if there’s a reason?”

”....”

Setsuna pondered her words; indeed if an unavoidable situation occurred, using a dog hole could be comprehensible, but she couldn’t admit that.

”No, not in normal life, unless you encounter some tricky enemies and need to sneak in for intelligence investigation. Ask your father about it, he’s more skilled in combat details.”

”Mama, speaking of combat, when will you teach us Moon Lion?”

”Yeah, yeah, I heard the Moon Lion is super cool.”

The Fur Race naturally had a fighting spirit, not fearing combat but rather excited by it.

”Too early, your aunt hasn’t even learned it yet, we’ll talk when she does.”

The two little ones didn’t yet need to learn Moon Lion, Setsuna took Wanda as an example to decline them.
