Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 653: Chapter 652: Hurry Up, I’m in a Rush

After Arceus and others arrived at Sky Island, the Shandia People erected three more totem poles, symbolizing the ancient god Arceus and his two divine envoys: Serperior and Zeraora.

These stories became familiar to the children who grew up afterward, but apart from Serperior, they had never seen Arceus or Zeraora in person — this was their first time in their lives.

Upon receiving the orders, Zeraora rushed here at full speed, but despite flying, the journey from Ghost Island to Sky Island was long, which delayed him considerably, though it seems he arrived just in time.

”Youngsters, you have courage, but this is not the place for you. Nolan! Take them away, mid-court substitution!”

Zeraora single-handedly grabbed the golden staff swung by Enel, and even though Enel channeled electricity into his weapon, Zeraora was unaffected.

Zeraora not only has the ability to absorb external lightning and use it, but his own trait is also electricity storage.

Any powerful lightning attack hitting him becomes equivalent to a ”Golden Healing Shuriken,” not causing harm while restoring his spent stamina and supplying more electricity.

”Gala~”

Two large vine whips emerged from Serperior’s neck, entwining Wyper and others before leaving.

Enel was not unresponsive; it seemed neither he nor Zeraora had moved, but in reality, his actions were continuously interrupted by Zeraora.

However, they moved too fast; even nearby watchers in the dark could barely see afterimages, only feeling a few streaks of lightning.

”I heard there’s an ignorant who claims to be a god on Sky Island. It appears it’s you.”

”You beasts...one by one...really make me furious, divine punishment!”

Since arriving at this Sky Island, no one recognized his divine status; the Shandia People initially at least feared his power, and Serperior was cautious in battle.

But from Zeraora, he detected a sense of disdain, his wrist transforming into lightning reaching into the clouds, and a lightning bolt several meters thick was drawn down by Enel, striking directly on Zeraora.

”You foolish beast, this is the cost of belittling a god, experience divine retribution! Yahahaha...”

Before Enel could finish laughing, he suddenly sensed a peculiarity; within the lightning glow, there was no sound, only a figure stretching lazily.

”You’re so polite, it will be quite difficult for me to beat you later.”

The electrical energy consumed along the way had been replenished, even overflowing somewhat; Zeraora had never encountered such an interesting power source, with efficiency surpassing Electivire.

Despite his words, Zeraora held nothing back in his actions.

[Just hit his head from the left]

Enel perceived Zeraora’s intention, but before he could react, Zeraora had already kicked his head, Zeraora’s legs covered with a layer of black Haki.

He was not Serperior; things humans train, he could also train; as a high-level official in the New World, mastery of both types of Haki is fundamental.

”Is this that divine power again?”

Like Serperior, both Zeraora can attack his real body; belonging to the same group, evident from Shandia People’s thoughts, they were even referred to as divine envoys.

[Next will be the chest]

Knowing he could not withstand incoming attacks head-on, Enel planned to disperse the targeted area ahead, a common method for Logia-type users to evade Armament attacks.

Haki can harm Logia-type bodies, but it needs to touch them.

As long as space is vacated beforehand, the attacking force rendered ineffective, but the result was unchanged; the Haki-covered strike landed straight on his chest, causing Enel to cough blood.

”Some fools think Logia-types are invincible; your Observation Haki is strong, but you can’t use Armament at all.”

”Impossible...I clearly heard it...”

Enel couldn’t comprehend he heard the other’s movements clearly but could not evade them, no matter how he dodged, the attacks landed precisely on him.

”Mind Reading ability is good, but your physical training is far too weak; striking before your body reacts solves the problem, doesn’t it?”

The rescue letter sent from Sky Island roughly described Enel’s abilities — Rumble-Rumble Fruit and the Mind Reading Technique — these were the crucial abilities leading to Zeraora being deployed here.

As the fastest Hundred Beasts official immune to lightning, he is Enel’s natural opponent.

Lightning attacks hold no effect on him, despite Observing being able to sense Zeraora’s actions, Enel’s reaction could not match Zeraora’s formidable physique, losing outright in physical attributes.

”Alright, I have people waiting for me at home, no time to waste with you, coming here to attack, you should be prepared to pay the price, right?”

In an instant, Zeraora appeared before Enel, fist aiming at his head, the sound Enel heard at that moment was unexpected.

[What should I bring home for the kids?]

In Zeraora’s mind, Enel at this stage was hardly a match, not only a hindrance to family time but purely an arrogant fool.

Facing a similarly fast opponent proficient in both types of Haki, Enel had no room for resistance. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

...

In the Shandia People’s view, this was a battle beyond understanding; they couldn’t see human forms, only two clusters of lightning alternating in the sky, eventually, the lightning pierced through the Island Cloud of Sky Island, crashing straight downward.

About ten minutes later, Zeraora’s figure returned to Sky Island, and Enel had vanished without a trace.

”Divine Envoy, that person...”

The Shandia Chieftain came to Zeraora, inquiring about the enemy’s situation.

”It is resolved, he won’t come and cause trouble anymore, just live peacefully.”

”Divine Envoy, the shell collection this year faced delays; this issue...”

”Oh, it’s alright, the master said you could extend the deadline by two months, should two months be enough?”

”Certainly, we’ll provide sufficient shell by then, thanks for your hard journey, Divine Envoy, please rest in the tribe.”

Zeraora initially didn’t intend to stay, but the chieftain insisted on inviting, expressing the tribe’s new children’s wish to meet other divine envoys, so he decided to stay overnight, returning to Ghost Island the next morning.
