Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 672: Chapter 671: Striking My Own Teammate

”Mandfeish, is it really necessary for us to do this? Wouldn’t two Sea King Types nearby be enough?”

While the siblings ran off to scout the situation, Mandfeish’s sidekick was a bit confused about the action plan.

”Sea King Type? Where do you think there’s more Sea King Types than around Fishman Island? That’s ten thousand meters deep in the sea. Relying only on Sea King Types won’t scare those guys, and Sea King Types won’t listen to commands. Do you want the Fishmen to get wiped out themselves?”

Sea King Types not only attack pirate ships they don’t like, but Fishmen and Mermaids are also their targets. Aside from the Sea King and Manaphy, there’s currently no technology to control them.

Shirahoshi doesn’t know how long it will take to awaken the Sea Kings, and as for Manaphy, tethering it near the island for something like this isn’t a good choice; it can only persuade the Sea King Types to give it some face.

If it’s not around one day, whether the Sea King Types will respect other Fishmen or Mermaids is uncertain, and the benefits Mermaids bring are too great. Not even ten thousand meters deep in the sea can stop them; solving these troubles isn’t something that can be done in a day or two.

”Alright, don’t dwell on decisions made above. Bring the Trapinches back to the cabin. It’ll be troublesome if they fall into the sea.”

Trapinches can’t swim. His intuition told him a battle might occur soon, and this was just a preventive measure.

While arranging for his men to prepare for battle, he was also observing Ulti and Page One. Although they weren’t very old, flying was their greatest advantage. In theory, those who could fly wouldn’t encounter risks.

But before he could react, Page One suddenly crashed. Just as he intended to take action, the Rotom he had flew out and activated forced call mode.

This is also the capability of the full version of the Rotom Phone. A person with higher permissions can forcibly connect to someone with lower permissions. The Rotom residing in the phone will analyze the situation and environment to decide whether to report the news immediately.

Seeing his Rotom flying out, Mandfeish frowned.

”Hey, who is it? I’m busy here, say it quickly.”

”It’s me, Mandfeish. Have you gone rogue? Sending people to blow up my ship??”

”Olga? I didn’t! I’m almost at Fishman Island... Page One?! Wait, was that ship yours, sis?”

On the other side of the screen, Olga adjusted the angle to reveal Page One and Ulti behind her. This cleared up the situation for Mandfeish.

Rotom couldn’t make mistakes, and the unknown pirate ship in his sight gradually became a mirage, eventually turning into the Shadow Fox.

”Do you understand what’s going on now?”

”Uh... Olga, wait a moment, I’m coming over. Alert dismissed! It’s our own people!”

His intuition was correct; there was indeed something wrong with the ship, but the problem wasn’t what he thought—it was a different, strange issue.

Olga’s usual activity was around Shampodi, hunting those annoying slave traders. She always concealed her true identity in this regard, frequently using the guise of different pirate crews to hunt those traffickers.

Every time the Shampodi auction commenced, the traffickers would become active, which was her hunting time.

Though those traffickers had complex backgrounds at sea, Olga was never worried.

Even if some re-captured slaves leaked her information, no one could find her, as she always used different faces, genders, ages, and builds when acting. She was a mystery.

Apart from the crew on board, even members of the same pirate crew didn’t know what identity Olga was using.

She recognized Mandfeish’s ship but didn’t lift the disguise because there were fish she was angling for nearby, and she didn’t want to expose her identity. Normally, Mandfeish wouldn’t randomly attack other ships.

Previously, Mandfeish found the Shadow Fox’s trajectory strange because the Navigator asked Olga if they should head over, causing a brief pause.

The two ships weren’t far apart and quickly docked, creating a somewhat awkward scene.

”Olga.”

”Those two said you sent them out.”

”That’s true. I brought them out for some training, but I only asked them to scout... Can one of you explain?”

Mandfeish looked at the pair, wanting to know what had happened.

”Mandfeish, it was actually an accident...”

Page One explained the earlier situation. Going back a few minutes, he had approached the ship with Ulti.

Olga’s illusion had a large range. However, she had been a bit lazy then and, seeing no targets nearby, reduced the number of NPCs. In outsiders’ eyes, the ship appeared like a Ghost Ship, with no one on deck.

Typically, they just needed to report back, and many things would be revealed. However, Ulti chose an exceptionally rough approach.

Since there was an issue, she fired a cannonball to check, spitting a Dragon Breath towards the deck.

Illusions used for disguising and illusionary deception of the mind are different. At that moment, Olga had used the most basic kind of illusion, which would reveal the true form when attacked, but she wasn’t too slow to react to two kids’ attacks.

After negating Ulti’s Dragon Breath, she captured the two of them and then contacted Mandfeish, leading to the current circumstances.

....

In conclusion, during Ulti’s first mission, she successfully attacked a disguised ally, achieving an epoch-making feat.

”Olga, any significant damages?”

”No, but such a rash character won’t do. Let me borrow her for a bit for a small punishment.”

It wasn’t a big deal, after all, she was still a child. However, she needed to learn that such recklessness had consequences.

Here, Olga held the highest status, and as it was Ulti’s recklessness that caused the result, Mandfeish didn’t object and let Olga take Ulti.

Soon after, she was dressed up like a doll by Olga in an adorable outfit.

”Hmm, not bad, quite cute. Behave and act as bait just this once; we’ll forget about this incident.”

No matter how realistic a false Phantom is, it’s not as effective as a genuine bait. When Ulti is well-dressed, she’s quite beautiful. Girls her age are traffickers’ favorites. She and Page One were placed on a small boat, posing as a lifeboat, and sent out.

She was going to use the siblings as bait.
