Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 492: Chapter 491: The “Clever” Queen

No matter what Judge does, these clone soldiers will still follow his orders. This is also the reason why the Vinsmoke Clan is so powerful in the North Sea. Rather than a country, they are more like landlords.

Aside from the scientific personnel and some doctors, chefs, and maids who are human, the rest of the citizens are these clones.

As long as the wealth they plunder is sufficient, they have a continuous stream of soldiers being produced from the factories.

Attempting to attack Judge, the supreme commander, naturally made Yamato their enemy. Even without Judge’s commands, these guards charged forward one after another.

Looking at the large pit on the ground created by Yamato’s blow, Judge’s expression turned grim.

None of his children could surpass the opponent. Poison Pink, Sparking Red, Blitz Blue, Winch Green, and Invisible Black are different battle suits he developed using the Bloodline Factor.

His wife was dissatisfied with Judge turning their children into ”emotionless machines” and took drugs during pregnancy that affected the Bloodline Factor, resulting in Sanji being a normal human, so Invisible Black currently has no user.

And none of the remaining children could achieve it either.

Yonji, as the possessor of Winch Green, has been modified to be almost like a robot. His body is nearly mechanical, capable of changing the shape of his limbs and possessing great strength; even if his head is struck askew, he can use a hydraulic hammer to correct it, yet he also cannot do it.

Even though there is an age difference, as their father and creator, Judge knows where their limits lie; even if they reached Yamato’s age, they could not surpass him.

In his view, Yamato is not a pure person but a creation of Queen, which is the thing he cannot accept; he cannot accept being defeated by Queen in a field he excels at.

These scientists all have a kind of obsession; if they can’t surpass, then they destroy.

”Everyone, attack! Eliminate that horned person!”

He noticed that Yamato seemed to pity those clones, so let the clones thoroughly drain the opponent’s stamina. After all, the next batch of soldiers was almost ready, and he wouldn’t mind losing all these soldiers here.

So under Judge’s command, the clone soldiers around him flocked in groups, employing a human wave tactic to assault Yamato.

”Damn...”

To her, these clones were not much trouble, just a matter of one person, one club, but they managed to entangle her footing.

After several ineffective communications, she understood the uniqueness of these clones; they had none of the emotions humans should have, so she planned to clear them out with Supreme King Haki.

To train her, Kaidou used Supreme King Haki as a wake-up alarm. Although Yamato could not precisely lock Haki onto a single person now, she could use it freely to clear the minions without issue.

But just as she was about to act, a large number of vines erupted from the ground around her, binding all those Vinsmoke clones.

”Go ahead, Miss Yamato, leave these small fries to me.”

The Leech Seeds were earlier mixed into the Seed Machine Gun and fired by Queen. His original plan was to use his aerial advantage for fire coverage, but it didn’t matter now since Yamato didn’t intend to follow the plan.

On his way here, he pondered on Arceus’s words and realized one thing: defending a small kingdom with five Genesect was more than enough, and though Yamato was young, she was also a formidable force.

Moreover, he wouldn’t believe that Yamato didn’t have any trump cards left by Arceus. The current battle scenario already somewhat assured the kingdom’s safety; thus, the primary target should be changed.

As long as Yamato was happy, the issue would be perfectly resolved.

The current situation was that she didn’t like Judge, so they let Yamato deal with Judge while he slacked off, no, helped Yamato clear her interference—this time, it was a win-win situation.

He had dozens of ways to eliminate these clone soldiers, but since Yamato seemed unwilling to extinguish them, he chose a gentler method, using Leech Seed combined with a paralyzing toxin-like Gift of Nature.

Among the executives of the Hundred Beasts Pirates, one-on-one, he didn’t rank, but in such large-scale regiment battles, he was the master of the battlefield.

The modified weapons in his tail and braids poured out their firepower, with Queen directly opening a path for Yamato leading to Judge.

”Thank you, Uncle Queen!”

During her run, Yamato’s body gradually entered the Okuchi no Makami Human-Beast Form, the dragon tail behind her being the biggest difference from the original. The Wolf Fang Club entwined with Haki rushed towards Judge.

Sizzle~!

A long spear appeared in Judge’s hand, with electricity winding around its tip. Besides the modified Superhuman Physique, ninety percent of his combat power came from his equipment.

Anything on him could be said to be the pinnacle of Germa’s achievements.

”Don’t underestimate people, kid! When Germa dominated the North Sea, you didn’t even know where you were. You think you can defeat me?! Electromagnetic Spike!”

The compressed electricity from the spear shot towards Yamato, its dazzling light nearly blinding others, but a thin lens appeared in the opening of Judge’s helmet over his eyes, and the unknown material left him unaffected by the light.

”If Germa’s leaders are all your life-disregarding types, then this organization might as well disappear!”

Yamato slightly adjusted her grip and footwork. Although the strong light made it hard to open her eyes, Judge’s speed was far inferior to Kaidou’s, and she’d long developed ways to counter sudden attacks like his.

Judge continued to rotate the spear handle forward, the information his eyes sent to his brain told him he had already struck the target, but the initial contact felt entirely wrong; all he hit was an afterimage.

”Divine Foot·White Snake Drive.”

With a sudden burst of speed, Yamato reached Judge’s side, her club laced with frost, aiming for Judge’s chest.

Judge’s spear was already thrust forward, retracting it immediately was impossible given the distance—a long weapon excels in reach, but shorter ones bring greater danger when close in. Once inside the range of long weapons, one inevitably faces such awkwardness.

He could only redirect the force, using the spear’s handle to strike at Yamato, while his cloak seemingly adhered to his upper body as protection.

Though it looked like merely a tight suit, Germa 66’s combat attire was actually special shape-memory armor, exceptionally durable, with the cloak being a specially made shield of the same material. Under such double protection, he thought he could withstand the attack.

However, when the Wolf Fang Club struck his chest, he realized just how utterly wrong his judgment was.
