Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 480: Chapter 479: Yet Again, Only Queen Gets Hurt in This World

If the ones giving him a hard time were only a few like Shaina, then the Pokemon sparring against him showed no mercy. Even though Arceus values the Phantom Beasts more, he is still the creator of these Pokemon.

As a Pokemon personally created by Arceus, Sasaki started off with a negative favorability, and it’s only after a long time that he managed to make it positive.

Bastiodon’s face bones are very hard, and during his clashes with Aggron, his resistance to attacks was constantly improving.

”Hey! Don’t you ever sleep?! You’re disturbing the peace!”

The two of them are almost like small tanks in terms of weight, and both being rock + steel types, colliding together sounds like a dull gong, prisoners have no rights here, facing the guards’ actions can only be tolerated.

Other Pokemon watched the commotion from various corners, and Gigalith even dug itself a more comfortable pit, while the night watchers were too lazy to care, but those resting during rotation were different.

Babanuki, wearing a sleep cap, walked out with an annoyed expression, casually grabbing a stone and throwing it at Sasaki.

No matter what the future holds, for now, he is still the boss.

”You’re getting too excited! Go rest, or else go on duty!”

After saying that, he went back inside to continue sleeping, and the mining area temporarily quieted down, leaving Sasaki to silently practice something alone.

Like Ulti, he also wanted to climb to higher positions, but it was to get closer to Kaidou. Previously, Kaidou did give him special training for a few days, but it was just those days.

After giving brief pointers on some things, Kaidou stopped bothering with him. Occasionally, while on break, he’d hear cries for help coming from Ghost Island, and Sasaki would even feel jealousy, wishing for more guidance from Kaidou.

If Yamato, who has always been trained by Kaidou, stayed with him for a while, she would probably think he’s gone mad.

.....

The next day, the remodeled Ghost Island unfolded again, but no wedding venue was set up; this time it was simply to make enough space.

As time passed, the strength of the Hundred Beasts Pirate Crew kept growing, with the number of Divine Favorers and Givers constantly increasing inside. For internal members, the promotion of a Divine Favorer was more exciting than New Year.

During past weddings, these people were there for the fun, but now the increase in strength made them more eager.

This time was different from before because the Hundred Beasts Pirate Crew had a new host, a member of the Hundred Beasts Fruit Editing and Dubbing Department, who was also the host and Songstress, Anne.

Tesoro appears a few times each year in the Hundred Beasts Pirate Crew, this time also to help develop his artists under him, allowing Anne to get used to the grand scene in advance.

Previously, she only performed in some villages, though her talent was decent, she was a bit stage-shy. Even though the number of people on Ghost Island was slightly higher, it had a unique aura.

If she could adapt to this environment, most scenes would not be a problem for Anne, so under Tesoro’s request, the Hundred Beasts Pirate Crew temporarily changed the program host.

”Hmph, how does that little girl compare to me? Just wait, she’ll definitely mess up this ceremony.”

Queen, below, was very displeased. In past celebrations within the Hundred Beasts, he was always the host, and this replacement irritated him a bit.

”Hey, you guys, isn’t my dancing graceful?”

Queen grabbed a few of his subordinates in front of him and questioned them, receiving a series of flattering responses.

”Yes, yes, Brother Queen’s dance moves are the best.”

Similar responses were abundant; under normal circumstances, they should praise one and belittle another, but no one dared to say anything bad about Kaidou or Arceus here, at most muttering a little about Tesoro, just to satisfy Queen’s ego.

But with the appearance of the new host, everything changed.

Her hair was a gradient of green, with two locks hanging down the sides of her cheeks, the hair at the back slightly curled into two buns, and her face had some freckles. Her looks weren’t particularly outstanding, but fairly above average.

Women who are flawless in every aspect are rare indeed, and there are not many like Anne.

Compared to Queen, a fat otaku, these pirates of course preferred the young female host.

”H-hi everyone, I’m today’s host, Anne. This is my first time hosting a show, please bear with me.”

Previously, she mostly did dubbing and sang songs, which is the main business model of Songstresses in the Pirate World. Without enough fame, hosting concerts would leave you broke.

Small villages did not have many people, nor were there enthusiastic pirates like these. Her first hosting made her not fully accustomed to the pirate environment, and inevitably a little stage-shy.

”Oh!!!!!!!”

”No worries, little sister, don’t worry, we’ll bear with it!”

”Perform a show, don’t just stand there!”

Cheering came from all around, most encouraging her, including those who had just echoed Queen as well.

”You guys.....”

Watching his subordinates instantly switch sides, a few new wrinkles appeared on Queen’s forehead.

”Haven’t you guys ever seen a woman? How is she hosting better than me? Huh? She didn’t even have an opening dance!”

As soon as Queen finished speaking, three cards appeared in Anne’s hand.

”Today’s event is first the Ceremony of the Divine Favorers. Under the Radiance of Master Arceus, today we will have three new Divine Favorers!”

She was also trained classically; although initially nervous, she quickly adapted to the environment. Her heart was still racing, but she had no trouble speaking normally now.

Everything was going smoothly according to the script she memorized beforehand.

The three cards skimmed across the palm, and soon the visions of three Pokemon appeared in the arena, moving vividly. This was her Viso-Viso Fruit ability, but Pokemon were not creatures of this world, so the Viso-Viso Fruit could only simulate their appearance.

At the forefront was a black and blue lion, an Electric Type, the Gleam Eyes Pokemon - Luxray, but it looked like just a lion. ℯℯ𝑙.

Next was a pink mantis, Grass Type, the Bloom Sickle Pokemon - Lurantis.

Finally, there was a pink coral, water + rock type, Coral Pokemon - Corsola.

”These are the abilities that the three honored below will receive. Let’s welcome our new Divine Favorers!”

”Oh!!”

In the cheering of the surrounding pirates, Queen had a foreboding feeling, for some reason, he felt like he was going to lose his job.
