Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 463: Chapter 462: Arceus Metal

As a great pirate with certain collaboration with the Hundred Beasts Pirates, the BIG MOM Pirates also received a wedding invitation from them.

Years ago, Charlotte Linlin had some thoughts about Zeraora, but what she cared about was not the man, but the child.

To her, men were just tools, and marrying men of different races was simply about having children with the bloodline of that race.

Because of her teachings, the BIG MOM Pirates held a very indifferent view of the word father. None of her children had much affection for their biological fathers, and many had never even seen them.

Food could trigger Charlotte Linlin’s rage, but men could not. The fact that she didn’t forcibly keep Zeraora back then meant she had already given up.

After all, she only had a three-minute passion for men. While strength was good, even if they weren’t strong enough, it was fine. Her existence already represented the pinnacle of human talent, so as long as they were attractive to her, having a child was inconsequential.

The Fur Race, although few in number, wasn’t just limited to Zeraora. She could even use Homies to create life forms similar to the Fur Race. It was also Crane Rider Randolph who fished Pekoms out of the sea.

He appeared similar to a Rabbit Fur Race member, but in essence, he was just one of Charlotte Linlin’s created Homies.

She only asked Pekoms that question because it happened to come to mind.

”I met him on Zou, but is he really getting married to Sister Setsuna?”

”Ma~ma~ma~ma, you didn’t know? The wedding invitations have been sent to me. Just join the people attending the wedding.”

When Kaidou attended her tea party to discuss certain matters, the term ”Sea Emperor” didn’t exist yet; they were merely a slightly more powerful pirate crew, but things are different now.

Receiving communication from subordinates was fine, but if Charlotte Linlin herself went to Kaidou’s territory to personally engage in some activities, the Navy might take greater action.

When her Anorexia Nervosa wasn’t acting up, Charlotte Linlin still had some reason, and people like Katakuri would persuade her. However, the persuasion was through food, like organizing a gourmet food festival on Cake Island during this period.

Hearing Charlotte Linlin’s words, a look of confusion appeared in Pekoms’ beady eyes. So much has happened in the few months since he left Zou.

”You should stay here for now. After the wedding cake is ready, head there with Burowaie and Moscato. In consideration of Kaidou, you won’t need to pay your lifespan during this period.

Of course, it would be even better if you could join us here.”

Lifespan is the only designated rent in the Tottland Kingdom. Unless you’re one of her children or a member of another pirate crew, living here requires paying rent based on time.

Since Pekoms knows those two people, and they belong to Kaidou’s crew, she wasn’t going to demand Pekoms’ lifespan either.

She had other thoughts, too. Although a Homie like Randolph looked no different from a regular Fur Race member, it wasn’t truly one. If Pekoms could join the BIG MOM Pirates, it would add another race to Tottland.

Forcing someone to stay wasn’t difficult, but it was her way of collecting rare creatures. She preferred them to join willingly, so she chose this method.

From the information Pekoms revealed earlier, he’s only just turned 12 this year, and the various sights of the Tottland Kingdom are most alluring to children.

Under Charlotte Linlin’s instruction, Pekoms temporarily stayed on Cake Island and experienced its fairy-tale-like atmosphere.

As the date approached, led by Charlotte Moscato, the BIG MOM Pirates, including Charlotte Burowaie and Charlotte Melise, headed to the address given by Kaidou, a Spring Island within the Hundred Beasts Pirates’ territory.

Although high-level officials like a Commander didn’t show up, the combination of one son and two daughters was significant enough, besides the accompanying members and a giant load of wedding cake ingredients.

According to the chefs’ calculations, they would arrive at the venue just as the cake was completed. Giving food as a gift was their specialty.

Moreover, after living on Cake Island for a while, Pekoms couldn’t resist the temptation of material comforts and the BIG MOM Pirates’ persuasion, choosing to join them.

He held a certain gratitude towards these lifesavers; the Fur Race could sometimes be overly naive. When faced with an invitation to join from those who saved him, he didn’t refuse.

Also, with Setsuna’s joining the Hundred Beasts Pirates, it wasn’t uncommon for members of the Fur Race to become pirates after going out to sea.

However, the BIG MOM Pirates were only invited to the second wedding. That island was still under preparation, but Ghost Island was already decked out in lights and decorations.

Ferren descended on Ghost Island, flapping his wings, with Setsuna’s family on his back. Although the Fur Race’s customs were not as elaborate as others’, mutual attraction was enough, yet the relatives still needed to be present.

”This place is really... grand...”

Looking at the newly decorated Ghost Island, Hatch couldn’t help but marvel. He was aware of the stronger sense of ceremony here compared to Zou, but the disparity was startling.

In terms of area, the Fluffy Kingdom was no smaller than Ghost Island, but the architectural styles couldn’t be compared, especially since Ghost Island had undergone a massive transformation.

As they landed, mechanical gear noises emanated from the skull of Ghost Island, followed by the structures above the third layer beginning to rise. It was hard to believe they could separate without seeing it firsthand.

The Ghost Island had now transformed into a structure resembling an open-air stadium, with interior decorations already revealed. The supporting structure looked incredibly delicate, but no one doubted the safety of Ghost Island.

During the venue’s preparation, Ghost Island also underwent an upgrade. This open-air arena mode was part of the transformation, using a new material deemed as Arceus Metal by the Hundred Beasts people.

It’s a new building material created by him using the Iron Plate, known for its high hardness, strong toughness, and corrosion resistance.

However, there’s a downside: the metal is not suitable near Steel-type Pokemon, as they can’t resist their urge to consume it like termites.

With the transformation of Ghost Island complete, a massive stage rose from the middle, and Queen, according to Arceus’ request, replaced his usual overalls with somewhat festive attire.

”Hey, hey, everyone, listen up! The wedding’s starting tonight. We’re doing one last equipment check now!”
