Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 464: Chapter 463: Starlit Wedding

”Hatch, I’m feeling a bit jealous.”

Under Queen’s command, the pirates of the Hundred Beasts Pirate crew began testing various wedding equipment. As Ling watched the splendid scene, she couldn’t help but admit that even though Setsuna was her biological daughter, she felt a tinge of jealousy in her heart.

”Doesn’t this just show that Setsuna is doing well? It seems that Zeraora is also taking this seriously, so we can rest assured handing Setsuna over to him. But where has that girl Setsuna run off to?”

After Ferren left them here, he didn’t pay them any mind. Although there were quite a number of pirates around, they were all busy carrying all sorts of items, clearly too occupied to bother with them.

However, Hatch spotted something familiar. Two white ghosts suddenly flew past them, indicating for them to follow.

Hatch immediately recognized them as Perona’s Negative Ghosts, the very things that had embarrassed him quite a bit in the past.

But as Perona matured, her control over her abilities grew stronger, and the Negative Ghosts were no longer uncontrollable bombs but rather tools she could manipulate.

Following the lead of the Negative Ghosts, they saw Perona sitting atop a bear’s tail.

Because Setsuna and Zeraora, as the newlyweds, were busy preparing some things, they had Perona come to fetch them. However, she took the easy route and let the Negative Ghosts bring them instead.

There were no odd or strict customs among the Fur Race or Zeraora, no traditions to avoid seeing others, so they quickly saw the couple cuddled up together.

They were both dressed in brand-new attire, and even the Alcremie was adorned with wedding candies, making it quite distinct from other Alcremies.

”Sister! We’re here!”

Wanda clung to Setsuna, bombarding her with questions, while Hatch struck up a conversation with Zeraora. It was their first time in Wano Kuni; although they were currently only on Ghost Island, they could see the scenery of Wano Kuni at a glance.

Whether it was the towering Mt. Fuji or the Sky Island Group above Ghost Island, these were things they’d never seen before. The back of the Zou Elephant offered no such views.

However, neither Hatch nor Ling had any questions regarding the General of Wano Kuni.

Although the Kozuki Family had an alliance with Zou, the average citizens didn’t have a clear memory of this alliance; a country unseen for hundreds of years wouldn’t easily garner affection.

Especially now, with Zou not under the rule of Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, there was naturally little interest in Wano Kuni’s affairs.

After all, they were here to attend a wedding.

Hatch had gotten used to Zeraora’s presence, but for some reason, Zeraora seemed increasingly annoying to him today.

”Kid, after today, Setsuna is entirely yours. You better not let her down, or else...”

”Uncle, you probably can’t beat me, but don’t overthink it; we’ll live very well.”

After Hatch and Ling arrived, they didn’t just stand around waiting; instead, they explored Wano Kuni, as the wedding was set for the evening.

Even though in the Pirate World, there’s no fixed requirement for wedding timings, night weddings are relatively rare. However, since it was arranged by Arceus, no one opposed it.

Time quickly turned to night, and the lights within Ghost Island were ready, though several bonfires were still lit outside. While Ghost Island had long been electrified, bonfires provided a unique atmosphere for a feast.

After the ceremony, it wasn’t realistic to expect these pirates to sit together and dine like nobles.

...

The earlier tests proved these pieces of equipment were fine. As night fell, Queen appeared on the high platform once more, as he usually hosted various events within the Hundred Beasts Pirate crew.

”Alright, everyone, those who are here are long-time members of the pirate crew. As you all know, today is the wedding of Zeraora and Setsuna. Today, this couple will tie the knot in front of you all.

You come from different seas, and whatever customs you have, feel free to follow. But if you provoke them, no one will stop you, muhahaha.”

The customs across The Sea are not uniform, and each island has its unique traits. However, nobody dares to cause trouble at a High-Level Official’s wedding; even jokes have their limits. If you cause trouble on someone’s big day, getting beaten up is light punishment.

Moreover, at the main seat, there were Kaidou and Arceus. Kaidou was there because he was the Governor of the pirate crew, and Arceus was there as Zeraora’s elder.

Although outwardly, Zeraora’s identity was with the Fur Race, he was Arceus’s first Legendary Beast creation, firmly sitting as the ”Firstborn of God.” On Setsuna’s side, both parents were present, so naturally, Zeraora wouldn’t be alone.

”Enough talk, let the wedding begin! Lord Arceus has prepared a unique gift for this couple!”

Queen quickly cut to the chase without the bad habit of rambling for hours, and at this moment, everyone understood why the wedding was held at night.

Tonight was a new moon, and the moonlight wasn’t prominent under the reflection of the lights. However, Arceus called upon the power of the Pixie Plate, and the moonlight and stars seemed guided, the rays gradually coalescing into figures.

The pure white moonlight formed dancing fairies, while different colored starlights under the Pixie Plate’s power created flying saucers across the sky. The fairies manifested musical instruments, and starry butterflies danced gracefully to the melody.

The power of the Pixie Plate, in mysticism, is second only to Ghost and Psychic, and it was the most beautiful power in Arceus’s hands.

With the moon’s radiance as company, starlight paving the way, and fragrant grass leading the path, this was the wedding celebration Arceus prepared for Zeraora—an unparalleled grand feast in this world.

The starlight in the sky was visible even to Wano Kuni. Many were left stunned by the mesmerizing beauty.

Especially the female members of the Hundred Beasts Pirate crew; the pursuit of beauty is human nature. Except for Arceus, few in the world could accomplish such a feat. Even if they weren’t the main characters, they couldn’t help but be enchanted.

Even Devil Fruits with illusionary effects couldn’t replicate a scene like this, nowhere near the true dance of the lights.

Accompanied by the music, the starlight spiraled upwards, forming the faces of Zeraora and Setsuna in the sky over Ghost Island. At the same time, the Meadow Plate began to cultivate special plants, a path of flowers stretching to both sides and ultimately appearing beneath Setsuna and Zeraora’s feet.

”Oh!!!!”

The cheers among the attendees were deafening as the couple walked toward the center of the venue...
