Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 490: Chapter 489: Just Knock Them Away, Right?

At the peak of Mountain Fuji, it’s still that mysterious space. The force of will from Reshiram and Zekrom is becoming more complete. Once the body is constructed, they can appear in this world.

And each of them houses a sliver of consciousness within Yamato. Although their bodies have yet to be born, they can temporarily ”descend” with their gradually completed powers.

Yamato, who has not yet gained their approval, cannot use their power, but under Arceus’ command, they can act as guardians.

This means that even though Arceus hasn’t followed them, he left a double safeguard within Yamato. Even if the explosive power doesn’t last very long, it’s enough to get Yamato to a safe place.

...

Not long ago, Vinsmoke Judge made his decision to attack the Non-Adhering Country in the East Sea—the Kogia Kingdom. The Germa Kingdom is still a special country with the qualification to participate in the World Conference.

So it’s impossible for them to attack an Adhering Country; they can only choose a Non-Adhering Country ignored by the World Government. Even the Navy cannot directly cross the Red Earth Continent but must change ships at the port.

But the Vinsmoke family is different. In three weeks, they crossed over the Red Earth Continent. For those special snails, even a vertical rock wall could be climbed as easily as walking on flat ground.

Although Kogia is located in the East Sea, it’s still a kingdom and can’t be conquered in just two or three days. However, from the current battle situation, their defeat is only a matter of time.

Because they face a group of fearless special corps.

The main research topic of MADS back then was the Bloodline Factor, and everyone had their strengths in this area.

Judge and his team used the study of Bloodline Factors from several excellent soldiers to clone and modify soldiers, turning them into absolute loyal, outstanding ”machines” of flesh.

They fear neither life nor death and only know how to obey orders. They don’t need their parents to go through the hardships of raising them. As long as there are enough nutrients, it takes five years to cultivate a qualified soldier.

There are different models for different situations; some clone soldiers are faster, some are stronger, and so on.

The clone soldiers appeared as consumables from the day they were created. Even those clone soldiers themselves didn’t know they were clones.

Queen led to test Genesect, and Judge’s actions were also testing his clone legion.

”Supreme Commander, the test is basically over. Fearless of death, never betraying, these clone soldiers are simply perfect warriors.”

A doctor with glasses introduced the specific situation to Judge.

”In addition, Master Ichiji, Master Niji, Master Yonji, and Master Reiju performed excellently in this battle.”

Compared to ordinary clone soldiers, Judge also modified his children. Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji became machines without fear, exchanging emotions for more powerful bodies.

Reiju retains some emotions, but she can’t refuse Judge’s orders. His children are more like tools to him.

The only exception among his children, Sanji, was abandoned by him just after arriving here. Judge couldn’t bring himself to kill his son personally, so he let him leave and fend for himself.

”Launch the general attack and end this battle quickly.”

”Yes, Supreme Commander!”

...

Meanwhile, facing Germa’s increasingly fierce attack, the Kogia Kingdom couldn’t hold much longer. The city gates were soon breached, and the kingdom’s army had to retreat to the inner city.

”Reinforcements, where are the reinforcements?! Didn’t those people promise? Why haven’t they come yet?!”

The king anxiously circled around, constantly complaining, although he had heard about Judge’s feat of slaughtering four kings in the North Sea.

He knew very well that even if he surrendered to Judge, he might not survive, which is why he issued a costly aid appeal.

No one responded to his inquiry because these ministers also didn’t know what to do.

Time was passing bit by bit, and the king became more and more tense. The ticking second hand was like his death countdown, but just as his mental stress was about to reach its limit, he finally received good news—the reinforcements had arrived!

However, seeing only Queen and Yamato, the king’s expression did not relax.

”Where’s the army? Are you the commanders of the army?”

”That’s not your concern. Since we took on this task, we’ll handle it. But could you settle the payment first?”

Queen, biting on a cigar, started collecting the fee, which is a rule of the Hundred Beasts. The payment must be settled first; only then are they considered a client. Otherwise, the fate of this kingdom doesn’t concern him.

If not for the tempting amount, Queen wouldn’t have ignored the distance to take this task.

Afterward, someone whispered a few words in the king’s ear. After that, his gaze toward Queen changed, and he promptly took out the treasures from the treasury. During this process, Queen vaguely heard the term ”10 billion”.

...

Outside the royal city, Genesect had already charged into the enemy’s lines, initiating its slaughter. On one side were emotionless clone soldiers, and on the other, a pitiless killing machine. The battlefield instantly turned into a silent massacre.

Germa’s clone soldiers fearlessly rushed towards Genesect, while Genesect kept swinging its claws. Its enlarged form swiped away large numbers of soldiers with each swing.

Meanwhile, the cannon on its back was constantly firing, quickly alleviating the tense situation.

”What’s going on? Where did those monsters come from?”

Judge put down the binoculars in his hand, looking at the slaughter conducted by Genesect with a very grave expression. He saw the numbers on Genesect’s chest.

The Kogia Kingdom absolutely does not possess such things; otherwise, they would have deployed them long ago. Their appearance now indicates that a third-party force has intervened.

At the same time, a somewhat familiar voice appeared in his ears.

”Muhahaha, Judge, you bastard haven’t forgotten me, have you?”

Yamato and Queen did not participate in the battle against the clone soldiers. Queen knew those things had no emotions; only by dealing with the supreme commander would it work. So he chose Genesect to handle those minions, while he went to deal with that guy, Judge.

”Miss Yamato, did you remember what I told you?”

Before the battle began, Queen asked Yamato a question, but her answer made Queen feel like something was stuck in his throat.

”I forgot, but it doesn’t matter. I just need to send those guys flying, right?”

”...That’s right.”

At this point, he didn’t have time to repeat the plan. Anyway, Yamato wasn’t wrong; as long as they took down Judge, everything would be resolved.
