Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 394: Chapter 393: After Our Analysis, the Mastermind Is Queen!

Mandfeish had already decided to send all those guys away, but it would have to be postponed by a few days; taking action now didn’t seem quite appropriate.

And Mandfeish also began to contemplate an explanation. Once he acted, his identity would likely be exposed, and in a few days, the World Government’s newspapers and wanted posters were bound to reach here.

Due to the frequent comings and goings of ships, it wasn’t difficult to see wanted posters and newspapers on Fishman Island. Although it was a headache for him, Rushaka didn’t have any doubts about the changed appearance of Mandfeish, though it took considerable effort for him to get into the room.

Luckily, he grew taller; if he had grown wider like Jack, Rushaka might really have to dismantle the door.

Everything on Fishman Island was still stable, but it was not the same outside. The scene of Mandfeish’s killing spree was captured and the photos were sent back to the intelligence department of the World Government.

Based on this intelligence, a special intelligence analysis meeting began.

”Gentlemen, today’s meeting is important. We’ve had a breakthrough in our intelligence work. You should all be quite familiar with these people.”

On the blackboard behind him, the wanted posters of Kaidou, Arceus, and Queen were hung up.

”Governor of the Hundred Beasts Pirates—Kaidou of the Hundred Beasts, suspected Vice Captain Arceus, and their scientist—Queen. According to existing intelligence, we know that the Hundred Beasts possess the power to create something like Zoan-type ability users.

According to information obtained by our infiltrated personnel, they internally refer to it as the ’Divine Grace’ ritual, with Arceus as the enabler of the ability.

Meanwhile, there are also some who believe that this is a smokescreen put forth by the Hundred Beasts, and the real situation is that Queen has unraveled the secret of the Bloodline Factor.”

The leading agent summarized the situation roughly, which had been a point of contention.

”But as of today, we have had a new breakthrough in intelligence, gentlemen, please look!”

On the projection screen beside him, a photograph of Mandfeish appeared. Given that he was mainly doing scout work and had been impersonating a fish-man on Fishman Island all this time, there weren’t many recent photos of Mandfeish; the wanted poster showed him in his normal form without abilities.

Then photos of him breathing fire on World Government ships and tearing apart the bodies of World Government agents were displayed.

”After comparative analysis, it can be confirmed that these two are the same person, and now, gentlemen, look here!”

The dragon form of Kaidou and the human-beast form of Mandfeish were put together, one using Hot Breath, and the other using Flamethrower.

Although Mandfeish’s neck was longer, and the photos had certain differences, such as the shape of dragon horns, the similarity was remarkably high.

”This is the final message sent before a squad of the World Government got wiped out, along with some photos captured by nearby journalists. The ability to strip powers from other ability users also appeared historically, but as you all know, there are no identical ability users in this world.

Before the previous generation of ability users die, there will never be a second one, even if it’s stripped away, the one who gets stripped will die.

Kaidou is currently living well, but the abilities of these two...are too similar.”

Flying, fire-breathing, similar comparative photos were shown one by one. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

”Could it be just a similar fruit? Such fruits do exist.”

There are quite a few similar fruit abilities, like the Ton-Ton Fruit and the Kilo-Kilo Fruit, with very similar abilities, just different intensities.

”This possibility can’t be ruled out, but if there truly were two such similar Zoan fruits that both ended up in the hands of the same pirate group, the odds are too slim, and this is an analysis of the Hundred Beasts’ past situations.”

As he spoke, some of the Hundred Beasts’ ability users in recent years were displayed.

Scotch, and Hold’em, who had rotated with Scotch, and even Zeraora and Setsuna, King, and Shaina, along with other high-level officials.

”The Hundred Beasts have many ability users, and the known abilities are mostly related to fire, lightning, and flying. Those two Fur Race abilities somewhat exceed the scope.”

He then produced a photo of Emboar.

”And this giant fire pig weapon, their abilities are somewhat related to Kaidou’s abilities.

Ultimately, the conclusion we’ve drawn is that this Arceus, although powerful, does not possess such exaggerated abilities. It’s just a smokescreen; Plague Disaster Queen is the real mastermind!

The abilities of Mandfeish are precisely the product of Queen cracking Kaidou’s Bloodline Factor. From the results, they’ve already had some decent achievements.”

People’s knowledge affects their assumptions about things, and those living in this world instinctively use the world’s inherent knowledge to comprehend these incredible things.

Amidst all these coincidences, this is the final conclusion they have reached.

”I remember there is a finished product of Kaidou’s Bloodline Factor at Punk Hazard.”

”Vegapunk insists it’s a failure and non-reproducible. It is also very helpful for future research. Can any of you refute him?”

Due to Vegapunk’s authority, they were simply unable to refute him technically.

”That’s not the focus of this meeting. Based on existing intelligence, does anyone have any different opinions on this matter?”

The ones who previously thought Arceus wasn’t a smokescreen, or that he was indeed granting others abilities, also lacked key evidence to counter the other side. Their intelligence personnel only lingered on the periphery.

Faced with such ’iron-clad’ evidence, they had to agree with this notion.

”Thus, the higher-ups demand increasing research into the Bloodline Factor. Although they missed the exceptional Queen, Vegapunk cannot be inferior to him, and along with that Caesar Clown, our research may still succeed.”

This was one of the themes passed by the meeting: to increase research in relevant areas and strive to crack the problem of the Bloodline Factor as soon as possible.

”Additionally, try to bring Queen back; we need what’s in his mind, so capture him alive at all costs.”

”As for Mandfeish...”

”Similarly, increase the bounty and plan a new strategy. However, this person can fly, and the displayed strength isn’t weak, so he won’t be easy to capture. The higher priority is still Queen.”

”Understood.”

.....

For the reasons above, they created new wanted posters, and due to Queen’s special nature, they couldn’t craft exaggerated bounties nor specifically describe the reasons.

Preliminary deciphering and complete control are entirely different, and they themselves were unsure to what extent Queen had reached in his research on the Bloodline Factor.

In any case, when the wanted poster circulated, the impact was as follows.

Inside the room on Ghost Island, Queen looked at his new wanted poster, utterly innocent.
