Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 372: Chapter 371: The Fake Harem Protagonist and the Twin Dragons’ Remodeling

”One, two, three, four, now there are four more...”

Yamato, Maria, Robin, and Jack grew up in a group of girls. The fact that he hasn’t developed a feminine personality is all thanks to his admiration for Kaidou.

Recently, Iscariot was brought back, and now there are four more, which makes Jack quite troubled. He urgently hopes for a little brother to help share this pressure with him.

”A man should stand in front of a woman and not let them get hurt,” Mandfeish once told him. At the time, he was honing his defense power, which is why Mandfeish spoke to him this way.

But he always had a doubt about this sentence.

He pointed at Yamato and voiced his question to Mandfeish back then.

”Mandfeish big brother, do you really think I need to protect Yamato?”

”Uh... that’s an exception. Anyway, as a man, you have to take responsibility.”

Yamato was an argument Mandfeish couldn’t refute, after all, she gained too much, plus Kaidou’s training, not to mention peers, even most adult males were no match for her.

In another world, Jack would without a doubt be the protagonist at the start, with a young lady from a noble house, a cunning black-haired beauty, an intellectual big sister, an idealistic young maiden, and now there’s also a gothic lolita and three sisters.

The childhood friend buff is already stacked to the max, but this is not a harem anime, and he is not the protagonist, nor does his name have the word ”sincerity” in it.

His intuition told him, mentioning starting a harem, even trying to be a master of time management could lead him to the greatest crisis of his life, like electric and grass types of Judgment.

However, as long as it doesn’t involve Yamato, there shouldn’t be any problems. Of course, he’s not particularly interested in women; for him, getting stronger is more important, which is why he can still train with the girls all the time.

Once personnel were arranged, the next thing naturally was the goods. Bringing back money wasn’t difficult; in a while, having Olga reoutfit and launder the money in other pirates’ territories will be enough. His focus was on the remaining five Devil Fruits.

Apart from the original Spinosaurus Fruit and Pachycephalosaurus Fruit, the remaining fruits were quickly identified. Coincidentally, they were the three recorded in the Pokédex.

The result was unsurprising—they were exactly the same three fruits that Hancock and her sisters had eaten before, only the Love-Love Fruit only had its name recorded, with no specific abilities.

If Queen got this Pokédex from the laboratories of the past, then the version the World Government holds shouldn’t be much different. They probably don’t know the effects of the Love-Love Fruit either.

The other two Snake-Snake Fruits, the cobra and python forms, are clearly recorded, but this implies one thing: for these four fruits to appear in public view, they must be altered quite a bit.

He didn’t touch the fruits originally belonging to the three sisters. Whether to give them fruits is still undetermined. If they join the Hundred Beasts, it doesn’t matter, but as they intend to return to the Kuja, it depends on how they develop over the years.

However, these two Dragon Fruits are different. As soon as he saw the information, they were already planned.

In appearance, Pachycephalosaurus closely resembles Rampardos, but the fruit was snatched, and Rampardos’ attributes are indeed slightly lacking.

A name with ”dragon” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a dragon. Ultimately, the chosen fruit was not Rampardos but a true dragon—Haxorus.

As for the remaining Spinosaurus, its modification direction was more complicated. A name with ”dragon” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a dragon, and a name without ”dragon” can still mean a dragon, such as a certain fake Earth Dragon—Garchomp.

Named as a shark, yet a genuine dragon type, and the choice to make Spinosaurus’ modification object Garchomp was simply because he thought the dorsal fin of Spinosaurus resembled Garchomp’s dorsal fin.

Apart from Zoroark, Zeraora, Diancie, and a reserve dragon prepared for Yamato, these two fruits are some of the strongest modifications he made in recent years.

With enhanced power, personal reserves became more abundant. These two fruits are undoubtedly prepared for future core members, so naturally, they were enhanced.

Haxorus and Garchomp, no one here could possibly recognize that their origins were Pachycephalosaurus and Spinosaurus.

”Kaidou, it’s about time, haven’t you drunk enough?”

For someone like Kaidou, mastery over his body reaches a formidable level. Life Return isn’t exclusively a CP skill.

He gets drunk mostly for enjoying the sensation of alcohol numbing his nerves; if he wants, he can become sober at any moment.

”Ah, it’s been less than three days drunk? What’s up?”

Upon hearing this, Kaidou, who was still snoring, opened his eyes immediately. Even though there was still a flush of alcohol on his face, his gaze showed no confusion, clear as day.

”Nothing major, what do you think of this wine?”

”The wine is good, but it’s a pity not many can drink it.” If he doesn’t control himself, he’d directly pass out drunk; few people can handle this sleep-inducing level of wine.

Pirate World has quite a bit of low-alcohol wine, if this were sold, it would be like a three bowls knockdown.

Given the number of headstrong pirates, this wine is quite useful in some special situations.

”In that case, just modify the formula. Coincidentally, Hundred Beasts Fruit is planning to expand several branches, adding a liquor department would be a good idea.”

...

While Arceus and Kaidou were discussing the expansion of Hundred Beasts Fruit, the new girls settled here after a simple introduction, following their temporary guardians back to their residences.

Olga directly lived on Ghost Island, while Asie saw the three children her daughter brought back.

Perona followed Setsuna back to the location of Peach Blossom Spring Farm. Although this place only had single-story houses, arranging accommodation was easy. However, Perona didn’t seem too comfortable with living quarters.

”What’s the matter, you don’t like it here?”

”No, it’s too bright here.”

”Bright? Then what kind of place do you want to live?”

Instinctively, Setsuna started learning from Ling back in the day. Although she was still preparing for marriage, she had already figured out what to name the child, it was just preliminary practice now.

”Hmm... next to a damp and dark castle, best with a sense of dread, with ghosts chanting songs that curse the world all around!”

Faced with Setsuna’s question, Perona thought for a while and then gave a description of her ideal living environment.

This was influenced by the environment she grew up in, almost solidified over time, as she spent the critical years of her upbringing in such an environment.

But this kind of environment was hard to meet here; even the basement of Ghost Island couldn’t achieve that so-called eeriness....
