Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 385: Chapter 384: Jack and Bisharp’s Homecoming

Moreover, those little brothers are quite reliable in their tasks, because Mandefresh is not only capable of fighting, but also rich. Given some time and enough funds, starting a mining company wouldn’t be a problem for him.

However, the general prejudice against the Fishman and the policies of the Dragon Palace Kingdom are indeed a problem.

”But the Princess of the Dragon Palace Kingdom has some very naive ideas. If there’s a need, sending Tesoro to communicate with her shouldn’t be an issue.”

Mandefresh directly laid out the potential suggestion. His current goal has already shifted towards a glorious retirement followed by marriage, unconsciously adding another banner to his back.

”The suggestion is good. You could try using another identity to test the waters on the other side. How are the issues with Fishman Karate and Jujutsu coming along?”

This was also Mandefresh’s task when he set out to Fishman Island, to figure out the training methods of these arts, as Ghost Island already had a real Fishman. ℴ

Moreover, for himself, Fishman Karate was also a way to increase his combat power.

”Well... I learned a little bit of Fishman Karate, but I couldn’t quite grasp Fishman Jujutsu.”

”This time when you return, take Jack along with you. Let him train with you for a while, and by the way, let him learn this stuff.”

This was more or less the arranged plan. At 12 years old, it’s already a suitable age for an apprentice pirate, and just like with the Kuja, the new generation of the Hundred Beasts will also start their journey, with different destinations, of course.

Jack’s assignment is Fishman Island, while Yamato is free to choose an island they like. As for Maria, she can go wherever she wants.

As for security issues... A ship under the Hundred Beasts’ flag sailing on the sea wouldn’t encounter any trouble, and Fishman Island, flying under Whitebeard’s flag, despite some minor acts, would face no major incident.

For the great pirates, face is the most important issue. No one can tolerate blatant disrespect unless there are compelling reasons, like interests and casualties.

Before the Summit War, Shanks was able to stop Kaidou because of interests. Otherwise, if they really fought, Shanks wouldn’t have been able to reach Marinfanto at the war’s tail end, as he didn’t have the ability to instantly defeat Kaidou.

”Yes, I will take good care of Jack.”

”Just let Jack be slightly cautious; your main focus should be looking after Kojiro.”

”Uh... Lord Arceus, should I take him along?”

”In terms of business, Kojiro and Tesoro are the best at handling such issues. Tesoro has been researching business on the Red Earth Continent lately, so it’s naturally up to him. Don’t worry; he won’t drag his feet, although it’s his first time going far away.”

During this time, Kojiro hasn’t been doing nothing. Under Hyogoro’s meticulous training, he finally got rid of the embarrassing state of dislocating his muscles with just one Aerial Ace. Now, he can at least use it three times.

Moreover, he has acquired his own ability. Although battle achievements are the most important accolades within the Hundred Beasts Pirates, it’s not limited to battle achievements alone.

Business development and technological breakthroughs are also counted. Kojiro’s stable internal commercial development within Wano Kuni earned him another reward opportunity, which this time, he didn’t give away to his pet.

Through traditional procedures, he finally obtained a direct transformation into a Bisharp.

The form closely resembles a humanoid Steel + Dark type blade Pokemon, wearing armor similar to a Wano Kuni Samurai, with blades on the head, limbs, and abdomen.

Among the current various Pokemon, the Rock and Steel types are the most directly impactful in increasing battle abilities. Even without training, these types of Pokemon can directly resist most conventional attacks. The upper limit is unknown, but the lower limit is very high.

For details, one could refer to Daz Bonez’s Slash-Slash Fruit. With a steel body and the swordsmanship refined by Hyogoro, Kojiro basically wouldn’t encounter danger in the first half of the Grand Line.

Mandefresh moved swiftly, and as soon as he left Arceus, he had already passed the message to Jack.

...

”Jack, orders from Lord Arceus—soon you’ll be going with me to Fishman Island.”

”Fishman Island?”

”Yeah, that’s where you should have been born, so it’s necessary to take you there for a look, and you can also learn something new, like this.”

After glancing around, Mandefresh spotted a kettle, poured some water into his hand, and punched the specially made wooden dummy.

”Fishman Karate: Uchimizu!”

The Uchimizu is one of the basic moves of Fishman Karate, a special technique that uses liquid as bullets. The splattered water left deep dents in the wooden dummy as if they were bullets.

”What do you think? This is a Fishman technique, very suitable for water battles. Unfortunately, I haven’t found the knack for Fishman Jujutsu yet. Jack, I’ll make sure to find you a good mentor.”

”Wow, that’s so cool! Can all Fishmen splash water like that?”

Jack’s reaction was calm, but Yamato seemed interested and began asking Mandefresh about his experiences on Fishman Island.

Hearing that Jack was leaving, Ulti’s smirk was so big it could barely be hidden by her mask.

”Great, I hope you never come back.”

”Hmph, not only will I come back, but I’ll also bring gifts for Page One. Fishman Island’s desserts are quite famous.” Jack stated a very objective fact; in the Pirate World, if you wanted to know whose desserts were the best, just ask Charlotte Linlin.

As long as she favored a dessert, it was a quality guarantee. Fishman Island being able to earn the BIG MOM Pirates’ flag for dessert was a testament to its quality.

Initially, Jack would bicker with Ulti, but he gradually discovered a better way to deal with this tsundere—briefly ignoring her, then shifting his attention to Page One.

”Rea... Really tasty?”

”Page! It’s just food, don’t succumb to such things! I can make you something delicious too.”

”Uh... Sister, perhaps let’s not do that. The stuff you make...”

It’s not that he discriminates against Ulti; the truth is, he doesn’t want to meet an untimely end. The fact that only the Muk likes her food says enough about how outrageous her cooking is.

Seeing a few more kids, Mandefresh was not surprised at all, as it is the tradition of the Hundred Beasts.

Meanwhile, upon receiving the message, Kojiro also went to Hyogoro’s house to say goodbye, mainly to inform Hyogoro that he wouldn’t need to train him tomorrow, as he would be away for quite some time.

Most things in Wano Kuni have already been put on the right track, no longer requiring his oversight. However, hearing that he would be going abroad, Hyogoro instead presented him with a gift.
