Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 368: Chapter 367: Have You Seen My Bicycle?

Though making a move against the Heavenly Celestial Dragon is a great trouble, as long as no one knows it was her who acted, there naturally won’t be any trouble.

The Shampodi Islands are located not far from Marinfanto, and the Navy’s warships can quickly arrive here. Yet precisely because this is Shampodi, many things become more convenient.

Because the Navy would not launch indiscriminate attacks here, besides traversing the Red Earth Continent, the road to the New World can only go through the underwater Fishman Island, while the Alqimia Red Tree of the Shampodi Islands has spawned a unique soap bubble culture.

If the Navy were to initiate a Buster Call here and destroy the entire Shampodi Islands, it would be a destructive blow to the pirates of the Grand Line. Those with flying abilities are few, and those capable of producing submarines are even rarer.

But they did not do this, even allowing these pirates to operate under the nose of the World Government’s departments, which has to do with the policies above. Whether it’s blocking the road to Shampodi or destroying Shampodi, neither aligns with their policy of shifting contradictions.

Moreover, the piracy chaos within the New World is something they are unwilling to face.

Currently, the Shampodi Islands are a mix of pirates, Navy, civilians, nobles, and World Government officials, truly a hodgepodge, making indiscriminate attacks impossible.

Resolute, Olga suddenly recalled something: since she was going to snatch it anyway, she might as well do it thoroughly. Thus, she started bidding against that Heavenly Celestial Dragon again.

This resulted in the Heavenly Celestial Dragon getting angry, as it was the first time he’d encountered someone daring to bid against him. Usually, people hear the name of Heavenly Celestial Dragon and don’t dare to bid.

The auctioneer on stage was also quite panicked. Normally encountering a Heavenly Celestial Dragon at an auction was considered a good thing, as long as they didn’t anger those so-called Celestial Dragons. They typically offer a high bid, saving time and effort. Yet today someone actually stood up against a Celestial Dragon.

”100 million Belly!”

”100 million and one.”

”300 million!”

”300 million and one.”

Each time, Olga would slightly raise the bid, and if it weren’t for the fact that there are no shills arranged during auctions involving Celestial Dragons, he would be suspecting it was one of his own.

The initial bidding didn’t yet turn the Celestial Dragon hostile, as he was enjoying the sensation of oppressing others with money. However, Olga’s later bids turned out differently when she started using figures like one Belly to bid against him.

What is the concept of one Belly? It can’t even buy a newspaper, and the denomination of one Belly is almost extinct in the market. For the Celestial Dragon, this became an unbearable situation.

So he decided to pull out a gun, a handgun crafted in gold, at that. To Celestial Dragons, they believe ordinary handguns do not match their status.

If it weren’t for gold’s unsuitability for making bullets, perhaps even their handgun bullets would be made of gold.

After pulling out the gun, he fired several shots in Olga’s direction, bringing silence to the auction room initially involved in bidding. The next moment, everyone in the place began to rush outside, fearing being caught in the wrath of the Celestial Dragon.

”This is the price for bidding against me. Hey, you few, go see if he’s dead!”

Olga sat unmoving in her seat, seemingly hit by bullets, but was actually discussing a very important topic with Elizabeth.

”Elizabeth, do you remember what Purlette’s laughter sounded like?”

Those distinctive laughs are akin to identity cards in this world, especially within the pirate groups. She was pondering which kind of laugh to imitate.

”I don’t remember; we haven’t seen him alive.”

When they were rescued from the belly of the Sea King Type, Purilite had already sunk into the sea. The appearance they mimicked was based on the Wanted Poster, naturally, she couldn’t get an answer about the laugh.

”Well, never mind then, let’s just act directly.”

Watching the approaching Celestial Dragon’s guards, Olga slowly stood up. However, what the guards saw through their eyes was rather different; in their sight, it appeared as if a person with a hood was rushing towards them.

Not using any skills or Zoroark’s claws, she snatched a knight’s gun from the hand of one of the guards to deceive temporarily, as Phantom cannot be permanently retained.

Wounds left behind may expose certain details, which doesn’t align with the initial goal, so she used the opponent’s weapon.

The guards of the Celestial Dragon were also extensively trained warriors, wearing heavy armor, comparable to elite soldiers of the Navy. However, when faced with a high-level pirate official, this strength was inadequate.

Although she’d grabbed a knight’s spear, Olga was more inclined to swing it, as the Hundred Beasts’ officials have some insight into blunt weapons, all having been trained by Kaidou personally.

The guards initially approaching were knocked down one by one, while the Purlette-disguised Olga charged towards the Heavenly Celestial Dragon.

”What are you doing, you bastard?! That’s a Celestial Dragon!”

Someone beside challenged Olga, while the auction hall suddenly echoed alarm alerts.

”Ha? I’m robbing the Celestial Dragon! I’ve endured him for a long time!”

Olga did not announce her name; in such a scenario, stating Purlette’s name would be unusual, as Purlette leaves no impression of foolishness. That guy is sharp.

Throwing the knight’s spear to knock the last guard flying, Olga arrived directly before the Celestial Dragon.

”Uh.. uh...”

She did nothing, but the Celestial Dragon’s face turned pale, clutching at his neck, occasionally reaching out to make weak motions forward.

The illusion ability muddled his brain, in the Celestial Dragon’s perception, a man directly grasped his neck and lifted him, and the enormous grip made him feel like he was suffocating.

The essence of Phantom is deception, and the weaker the enemy, the stronger Olga’s deception ability. Facing enemies with strong Observation Haki, she can only temporarily blind their senses, but against ordinary enemies, she can confuse truth with illusion.

But facing Celestial Dragon-type weaklings, she’s able to deceive their organs, leading them to experience the sensation of suffocation.

Standing there, she had already achieved her objective, and Purlette’s face engraved itself in the Celestial Dragon’s mind.

Meanwhile, news of the Celestial Dragon being attacked had reached the Navy Branch on the Shampodi Islands. Those who escaped had already notified the Navy, fearing consequences if trouble befell the Celestial Dragon.

Situations like this exceed the handling capacity of a single branch; ordinarily, issues concerning Celestial Dragons require the dispatch of an Admiral. Yet at the moment in the Navy Headquarters, Sengoku watched Kuzan with a darkened face.

”Kuzan, what the hell are you dawdling for?!”

”Sengoku-san, I’m looking for my bicycle, have you seen it?”
