Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 352: Chapter 351: Diamond Princess

”An entertainment company and jeweler, the largest entertainment ship at sea, is indeed a good idea...”

Gambling on this sea is completely legal, and compared to the population trade, which is nominally forbidden but never ceases, gambling seems much more gentle.

The entertainment ship, which should actually be called an entertainment city due to its scale, is an idea that Tesoro had proposed about the Grand Tesoro even earlier.

However, unlike the ship he built after acquiring the Gol-Gol Fruit, Tesoro now planned to rely on the Hundred Beasts to fulfill a similar idea, with many different settings in the details.

Currently, this is just a draft, and even that ship is merely an idealized sketch. Considering its scale, building such a ship would take several years even in the highly developed shipbuilding industry of the Pirate World.

Arceus was reading the report written by Tesoro and also arranged for someone to bring Tesoro over, while the busy Queen also received the summons.

Within the Hundred Beasts Pirates, Queen is like a universal screw, excelling in medical or research roles, developing or hosting programs, fighting or taking hits, mediating psychological emotions; Queen can play a powerful role in many areas.

And at this age, Yamato is just at that phase of having fleeting enthusiasm. Although she had no interest in that pink diamond earlier, she soon had new ideas.

A diamond that had cost Tesoro a considerable salary seemed to have turned into a fidget spinner for Yamato. The diamond’s refractive index is the highest standard among gemstones, and the fifty-seven facets cut can beautifully showcase this quality.

So, the pink diamond was still very beautiful in the spinning and reflecting light.

”Do you like it?”

”It’s quite interesting, but it’s too small, and just one is not very meaningful.”

”Soon, there will be more than one. By tomorrow, you could even play marbles with diamonds if you want.”

A knock on the door sounded from outside as they spoke.

”Master Arceus, I’m here. This is the high-purity Seastone and other chemical materials you requested.”

Queen held a piece of Seastone in one hand. Though he was transformed by Fruit Ability, directly touching Seastone would render him powerless, but he had a prosthetic hand, and the mechanical hand was quite convenient in such situations.

”But what do you need high-purity Seastone for?”

”A special little guy naturally requires some extra preparations. Phantom Pokemon need a bit of grandeur, after all.”

Geodude, Gigalith, Onix, all these Pokemon are born from the raw ore of Seastone. Although their bodies contain Seastone components, and their skills have Seastone effects, high-purity Seastone and raw Seastone ore have fundamentally different qualities.

Queen brought a piece of high-purity Seastone, purified using techniques unique to Wano Kuni, which suppresses abilities much more powerfully than regular raw ore.

Temporarily taking the diamond Yamato was spinning like a toy, a stream of light swirled around, and the Rock and Fairy Plates separated.

For ordinary Pokemon like Geodude, injecting two strands of power is enough, but for Phantom-type Pokemon, it’s still a major effort.

The Seastone was below, the pink diamond on top, and the two minerals gradually fused together, forming a humanoid body, and as energy continuously surged from the Stone Plates, a pair of red eyes opened on its face.

”Greetings, Master.”

A golden arched collar with a pink diamond was inlaid on her neck, with a dress-like white upper body and a crown made of pink diamonds on top of her head.

As her consciousness gradually completed, she curtsied slightly to Arceus with a gesture of holding her dress.

The Diamond Princess - Diancie.

Not an evolution of Carbink but a mutation, her princess-like manners and upbringing are nearly her standard, and the human language is an innate ability, not acquired, unlike Zeraora.

”I always find this power amazing. How did lifeless minerals gain life like this?”

Queen, with a cigar in his mouth, marveled at this extraordinary power, while Yamato slowly approached Diancie. Standing about seventy centimeters tall, over twice the height of an Alcremie, she floated in the air without legs using special powers.

”Hello, Miss Yamato.”

”You know me?”

”I am the Master’s creation, so naturally, I know you, though it’s just knowing you for now. Please take care of me; we might be companions in the future.”

”Don’t underestimate her; she’s called Diancie, and according to legends, she can protect their companions from disasters and sickness.”

But that’s just a legend; Diancie is extremely rare and usually hides deep within mineral veins. People who encounter her are typically very fortunate.

...

Someone with the Power of the Evergreen could easily communicate with a gentle-natured Pokemon, and within just a few minutes, they became acquainted.

With Alcremie, Smeargle, Diancie, Chansey, and Miltank, her team was already taking shape in a sense.

Compared to Yamato’s often boisterous demeanor, Diancie appeared graciously composed, maintaining elegance, and she also had the responsibility of being Yamato’s etiquette teacher in the future.

While those matters might not be very important, they are sometimes worth noting.

”Master Arceus, you didn’t specifically call me over just to deliver that piece of Seastone, did you?”

Watching Yamato play with Diancie, Queen raised this question. Wano Kuni was Hundred Beasts’ territory, and it would have been fine to send any underling for delivery without issue.

For just a piece of ore, there was no reason for him to come here.

”Your chemistry skills should be good, right?”

”Well... of course.”

Faced with Arceus’s seemingly unrelated question, Queen still gave his answer, as his expertise was primarily in chemistry and biology, where he was indeed an expert.

”What’s the essence of a diamond?”

”Diamond... a pure crystal of carbon element.”

”Correct, so Diancie, please demonstrate your ability.”

”Understood.”

Diancie stopped playing with Yamato and then placed her hands on her chest in a gesture like squeezing.

Initially, there was only a pink glow, but soon a crackling sound followed, and pink diamonds appeared out of thin air, quickly covering the ground.

This is not creation but compression. Diancie can use her power to compress carbon elements in the air into such diamonds.

This means that Diancie’s ability can compress things on an atomic level.

Misalignment of carbon atoms or internal lattice deformation results in pink diamonds, which is why all diamonds made by Diancie are pink. However, she can do far more than that.
