Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 371: Chapter 370: Looking at the Girls Before Him, Jack Fell into Deep Thought

Purilite’s bounty on a dead body skyrocketed again, even directly reaching 1 billion Belly, and there was a strict requirement that he must be captured alive. For a while, many people were excited about this.

Both the BIG MOM Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates had thoughts of capturing this guy to exchange for the bounty. This is a way Great Pirates handle defeated pirates; with an intermediary, they can also collect bounties from the Navy.

The robbery involving the Heavenly Celestial Dragon was made the headline by Morgans, and compared to this news, the incident with the Slave Catching Ship became insignificant.

Olga took some time to understand the ideology of the Kuja, which seemed to stem from their upbringing environment. According to the Hundred Beasts’ parenting philosophy, it’s about gently guiding children at this stage.

After all, there are quite a number of children now, and they aim to nurture a new generation of the Hundred Beasts, not a group of problem children, so parenting and adolescent education have become priorities.

In light of this philosophy, she did not immediately make things clear to the other party but chose to contact them little by little, introducing them to common external concepts.

As they neared Ghost Island, she saw a Thousand-Year Dragon flying overhead, carrying all sorts of bundles. She almost returned to Ghost Island simultaneously with Setsuna and Zeraora, who were out traveling.

After the ship docked, Elizabeth was temporarily entrusted with matters onboard. Her trust in Elizabeth exceeded the usual trust one has for a deputy.

....

”Wugorogoro, well done, Olga, that’s the spirit of a pirate.”

Kaidou had recently returned from his adventures, thanks to him, there were hardly any available Navy Headquarters personnel to mobilize.

Purilite was killed by his hands, and Olga’s excursion was also related to that batch of fruits, so the newspaper’s information clearly indicated that it was Olga’s doing.

As he spoke, he directly tossed the wine gourd in his hand at Olga. Seeing that wine gourd larger than herself, Olga stretched out her arms and barely caught it.

”Captain! You know this kind of thing is dangerous, right?”

”Wugorogoro, if you even dared to rob the Heavenly Celestial Dragon, are you afraid of this? Want a drink? This is a rare treasure.”

Seeing Kaidou’s state, Olga already determined that he was drunk. No wonder no ordinary pirates were seen in the three-tier structure when she came in; they probably all hid away.

Reporting intelligence to Kaidou in this state was unwise; he wouldn’t remember. Just as she pondered her next move, Arceus appeared, followed by Zeraora and Setsuna, who brought with them Perona.

”Lord Arceus, Captain, he...”

”He’s drunk, don’t mind him. Nightin tried fermenting some berries into wine, and this fellow got tipsy straight away.”

Before speaking, Olga saw Kaidou already snoring fast asleep.

To be precise, that wasn’t just wine but medicinal wine. Nightin made some attempts using berries and herbs, inadvertently concocting some powerful sleeping elixirs. The fact that Kaidou could still manage to act drunkenly was a testament to his extraordinary constitution.

...

”You went on a trip... and even brought back a child?”

”This child is called Perona, a Paramecia-type Fruit user, capable of turning people into negative ghosts, so we brought her back.”

At first, Perona couldn’t control her abilities well, so Setsuna was always the one looking after her. When she discovered the other’s identity wasn’t a disguised werewolf but a genuine ”werewolf,” she was not only unafraid but extremely excited.

She was born in a country with a Gothic style, and combined with her unique upbringing, she always liked such things, especially fluffy things.

Especially after Setsuna fixed her toy bear, she almost treated her as a biological mother.

”Hello little one, want some jerky?”

After nearly two centuries of not seeing meat, Olga had a peculiar obsession with meat, so all the snacks she carried were of this kind, along with some small dried fish, which were not just her snacks but also Elizabeth’s.

”No, thank you...”

The graveyard had never seen so many people. Initially, it was only Setsuna’s family and Zeraora, but ever since returning to Wano Kuni, seeing the crowd in front of her, she became a little scared and hid behind Setsuna.

”So shy, Lord Arceus, actually I also brought back a few people this time. Three girls are Apprentice Pirates from Amazon Lily...”

Olga recounted the events of her journey, also mentioning Hancock and their so-called deal.

Listening to Olga’s report and looking at Perona, whom they brought back, Arceus could only say they indeed inherited the Hundred Beasts’ fine tradition of picking up children, and the identities they picked up were increasingly remarkable.

Perona, with her bug-like Negative Ghost ability, was hard to deal with without strong Haki, akin to dealing with such a power, plus a future Pirate Empress.

According to a certain law, Hancock’s fighting power was proportional to Luffy’s level of injury, but this didn’t deny her natural talents.

Moreover, Amazon Lily indeed had significant meaning for the Hundred Beasts Pirates. Although there were many female pirates within the Hundred Beasts, they were still not proportional to the males.

Among these pirates, only a minority ended up settling down with ordinary people; they were more suited to a pirate-like family. After all, the place with the most female pirates could be none other than Amazon Lily. If developed well, perhaps having some sort of exchange with them would be quite nice.

Finding an appropriate opportunity, letting Kaidou directly move the island back wouldn’t be out of the question either.

”Well done, Olga.”

”Eh?” Olga seemed to not understand why Arceus suddenly praised her like that and instead inquired about the subsequent arrangements.

”So, Lord Arceus, how should those three be handled?”

”Let them stay with you for now. Didn’t you say their sister had a good relationship with you? Then get along well.”

”But... her ideology seems quite abnormal.”

”As long as your ideology is normal, it’s fine. Of course, if you’re led astray, I won’t mind, as long as you can convince Asie.”

Olga’s thinking was no longer childish after all these years, something Arceus was confident in. Similarly, Perona was entrusted to Setsuna and Zeraora.

They, unlike the others who were picked up, would be returned to Kuja after three years as promised. As long as enough bonds are formed during these three years, that’s enough, while Perona simply was shy, and not suited for Kaidou’s training methods.

Once their arrangements were settled, Arceus also let Yamato and others meet them, since they were of the same age. However, looking at the diverse group of girls before him, Jack’s expression became somewhat unnatural.
