Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 392: Chapter 391: Rampaging Gyarados

Moreover, shortly after that, several special agents quickly surrounded the Mandfeish duo.

”Who are you?! This is a World Government vessel!”

After evolving, Mandfeish had undergone a drastic change. Although his basic appearance hadn’t changed, these World Government agents who weren’t familiar with him couldn’t recognize him.

The blue silhouette was different from their target, and they didn’t even consider it.

Moreover, for some reason, when facing Mandfeish, they felt a strange aura that weighed heavily on their hearts, making it hard to breathe.

”Supreme King? No, it can’t be Supreme King. What the hell is this guy...”

The captain had a bad premonition in his heart; this matter seemed more complicated than he had thought.

Mandfeish’s claw broke the ropes on Rushaka, then used his tail to coil Rushaka up and protect her behind him.

”It’s me, Mandfeish. Don’t be afraid, I’ll get you out of here.”

He worried that his drastic change would make Rushaka not recognize him. Although he had said back then that he might change color, the timing of the change was much later than he anticipated, and the change was much greater.

”I know, Mandfeish. You should go, they are after you! Don’t worry about me!”

Even though they hadn’t been together every day, they had been acquainted for a long time, and she still recognized him even after he had become like this.

”Don’t say silly things. Since I’m here, I must take you away. Don’t worry, I’m pretty strong.”

After evolving, Mandfeish’s shirt had been torn apart, and now he was bare-chested. On his left shoulder, covered in blue scale armor, there was the black number 3.

He was thinking about how to safely get Rushaka out of here. He wasn’t unfamiliar with that Rankyaku just now. It was a wind blade attack kicked out by Rankyaku, which was emphasized during the Hundred Beasts crew’s meetings.

Even among the top fighters, some used techniques derived from Rokushiki, so understanding these kinds of skills was very necessary.

That move just now was aimed at Rushaka, which forced him to retreat.

His body could withstand that attack, but he wasn’t 100% confident he could protect Rushaka completely. He wasn’t like a turtle that could shrink into its shell.

His protection had blind spots; if he exposed his back to the enemy, an unexpected situation might occur without him realizing it.

”Rushaka, I’ll take you underwater in a while, then you need to swim back to your home on Fishman Island as fast as you can. I’ve already got a friend waiting for you there.”

The reason the fish people could capture Rushaka was that there was no water in Mermaid Bay at the time. A mermaid without legs moves inconveniently, giving them an opportunity.

This kind of thing couldn’t happen in the ocean because a mermaid’s swimming speed is the fastest in the world, even faster than fish people.

The captain was waiting for his subordinates to get into position, watching as his subordinate had his neck snapped by Mandfeish in one move, making him realize this opponent wasn’t so easy to handle.

They had formations for joint attacks in their training, targeting opponents slightly stronger than themselves.

Mandfeish, on the other hand, was looking for a chance to send Rushaka away. After explaining what to do to Rushaka, he quietly started gathering energy in his mouth.

Before the World Government personnel could finish forming their formation, a scorching flame was spewed out from him.

Gyarados possessed many unexpected skills, like flamethrower. Although lacking a catalyst, he hadn’t evolved for a long time; his level, however, continuously accumulated. After breaking through the evolution limit, he gained much more knowledge about utilizing his abilities.

Such as the flamethrower at this moment, the blaze temporarily forced the opponents to retreat, and Mandfeish took the opportunity to get Rushaka into the water.

”Go!”

The World Government personnel weren’t slow to react, as several Rankyakus came in succession. The mermaid’s swimming speed was fast but based on normal humans, and her speed wasn’t faster than Rankyaku.

Therefore, Mandfeish used his body to block all their attacks.

And continuing to spew out high-temperature flames, he obstructed their attempts to interfere with Rushaka’s escape.

Watching Rushaka’s departure, Mandfeish showed a satisfied smile. This time was his biggest help; not running when needed would have been more troublesome for the opponent.

Rushaka understood this, so she swam away without looking back.

The World Government agents suddenly felt something strange.

”A blue dragon... breathing fire... Captain, could this guy be... Kaidou?”

”What nonsense! It’s impossible the Navy Headquarters wouldn’t know if such a monster left his domain!”

Of course, he had a more direct reason. If the opponent were really Kaidou, they would have been killed already.

”Capture him! There must be a big secret on this guy!”

They didn’t notice Mandfeish surfaced from underwater, even assuming he avoided water because he feared it. Several agents used Rankyaku as cover to harass Mandfeish, while the rest began their advance.

Most of these people only knew two to three techniques, with few mastering all six forms among the agents and Navy. In the upcoming minutes, they would understand why Gyarados’s alias is ”the Ferocious Brutal.”

With Rushaka gone, Mandfeish had no more worries. The next task was, of course, to avenge those who dared harm his future wife.

”Finger Gun!”

One agent swung his arm at Mandfeish, but Mandfeish’s action exceeded his expectations. He didn’t evade or block, but instead bit down on the agent’s arm.

”Tekkai... Ah!”

Sensing something wrong, he tried using Tekkai to block the attack but underestimated Gyarados’s bite force. The arm was bitten off cleanly by those jaws.

”Pah, is this what other people’s blood tastes like...”

It’s not uncommon for Zoan-type ability users to use biting. Others, watching Mandfeish with blood-covered face and scale armor nearly dyed red, began to feel an emotion of fear spreading among them.

Yet, they were trained, not an undisciplined pirate crew, and under orders, they still attacked Mandfeish.

Among these agents, there were no cp9-level elites; their attacks resulted in more and more enemy blood on Mandfeish’s body.

”Ah!”

”It hurts, help me! Help...”

Throats bitten off, bodies torn apart, Mandfeish fought savagely and primitively, using the most brutal means to kill his enemies.

Originally, just capturing a merman didn’t cause them much concern. Under layers of outsourcing, they didn’t send elite forces, and they couldn’t even break through Mandfeish’s scale armor.

Bang!

Standing mid-air, Mandfeish spewed a flame at the deck, splitting it in half. The flames ignited the ship’s ammunition store as well. Standing on the remains of a sinking ship, Mandfeish grasped the last living agent.

”Who... who the hell are you?! There’s no way a merman could be such a monster! Why do you have Kaidou’s abilities?!”

”Who I am doesn’t matter, but you meddled where you shouldn’t have.”

He then crushed the captain’s head with his palm, like a watermelon in his hand.
