Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

“Big Sis Xiao Han, are there any further instructions?”

Millian looked up at me.

I was clearly dozing off just now, but according to Millian’s cognition, I must have been receiving information transmitted from who-knows-where via the Great Tree of Knowledge.

In the Witch Academy, no information data could escape this person’s eyes! Millian firmly believed in this point!

“Oh, everything as usual. Also, the small-scale promotion of the Self-generating Magic Power experiment should be ready to start. How is the screening of candidates going on your end?”

I didn’t give much of an explanation, but instead asked about another matter.

Just now, I was receiving a message from a clone and learned a rather interesting piece of intelligence.

And this matter made me think of many other things.

Perhaps… I could give it a try before advancing to transcendent.

“Further screening is currently underway. For now, the number of people is only 23. However, if they are asked to participate in an experiment with unknown risks, the likelihood of them agreeing would be…”

“It’s fine, there’s no rush for this. In the current Self-generating Magic Power experiment, the first case of a non-transcendent possessing Self-generating Magic Power other than me has already appeared.”

“Does that mean it succeeded?!”

Hearing this news, Millian’s pupils instinctively shook.

She naturally understood what this meant.

If the guarantees Big Sis Xiao Han gave before were ultimately just guarantees, no matter how much was said, it wasn’t as convincing as an actual successful case!

“Is… is it that person? Is it that Assistant Yi Rui?”

“It’s Tan Han. The first person to succeed is Tan Han, and she is still further adapting to and expanding the talent of Self-generating Magic Power.”

However, this expansion requires my help to make progress, I silently added in my heart.

The talent of Self-generating Magic Power strictly belongs to the exclusive talent of Transcendent Witches.

Self-generating Magic Power structured upon an incomplete Transcendent Witch racial concept lacks the foundation for “spontaneous perfection.”

Therefore, if one wants to perfect it to my level, it won’t work without external help.

As for myself, I have the foundation of self-awakened body cultivation.

Before advancing to transcendent, I perfected Self-generating Magic Power to the limit of a non-transcendent, and it can already exist independently of self-awakened body cultivation.

Once I advance to transcendent, the Self-generating Magic Power physical talent will undergo metamorphosis again, becoming Self-generating Magic Power at the transcendent level.

“Tan Han? It’s actually her? Is this why you took her away even if you had to show off back then, Big Sis Xiao Han?”

Hearing Tan Han’s name, Millian quickly remembered what I had done a while ago.

“Barely, I suppose…”

I recalled the time when Tan Han cooperated with the experiment; it succeeded on the very first try.

I have to say, I still somewhat underestimated the driving force of destiny.

“After some time, Tan Han’s strength will enter a period of explosion. At that stage, I recommend Tan Han enter the arena again to challenge others. Although the arena is currently all about the power network, after a while, once the ladder rankings gradually stabilize, it should be about right.”

“Then I wonder roughly how long that time will be?”

Millian asked curiously.

“Mhm… a month or two. Looking at it this way, this semester will be almost half over… but this period is also enough for us to perfect the construction technique for Self-generating Magic Power, as well as the technique for continued improvement after the Self-generating Magic Power construction is complete.”

Millian carefully listened to some professional names she didn’t quite understand—what construction technique, what perfection technique—she didn’t understand them, but she only needed to know they were very impressive.

During this period, Millian finally made up her mind and finally spoke the thought she had been holding back in her heart.

“Big Sis Xiao Han…”

“Mhm? What’s wrong? You look like you’re hesitating to speak.”

“It’s… like this. Big Sis Xiao Han, I… I was saying, can I participate in this Self-generating Magic Power experiment?”

“You?”

After hearing Millian’s words, I instinctively looked up and scrutinized her once more.

I have to say that Millian is currently the person I use most comfortably in the Witch Academy.

Previously, I felt her ambition was not small, but I hadn’t thought she would have ideas in this regard.

I thought she was still the same Millian who wanted to depend on me to gain power…

As for now… my Heart Sense told me that Millian was very nervous at this moment.

But beneath the nervousness was that suppressed ambition, a mindset of pursuing a higher level, which the old Millian didn’t have.

And at this moment, after not getting my answer immediately, the pressure on Millian also increased sharply… but… she didn’t regret it.

Alright, actually there was still a bit of worry…

After all, before a person has experienced some unforgettable turning point, they cannot completely make a transition in a short period of time.

“What are you nervous about? It’s just your own self-recommendation. However, I don’t suggest you participate in this next batch of experiments. This is an exploratory experiment that takes a long time and must be continued constantly.”

“This multi-person experiment is mainly to explore the perfect path for the technique of constructing Self-generating Magic Power. During this stage, one will suffer a lot and take many unnecessary detours. Although this truly counts as tempering, you should have better choices. You can try after the perfect technique is born, and you will avoid many detours.”

“Of course, it’s mainly because you are very useful to me. I don’t want you to waste time on this. I still have many things for you to help me do. I won’t manage those support groups of mine.”

This last part was my main purpose, but I just said it like that.

There was no need to hide certain words.

Even if I didn’t say it, Millian could guess.

When dealing with someone you feel comfortable using, it’s better to be sincere.

“So you already had it all arranged, Big Sis Xiao Han… thank you!”

“It’s nothing. But I feel you’re a bit more confident than before. It shouldn’t be my hallucination, right?”

I said casually.

“Alright, just kidding. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going.”

“There is one last thing, which is regarding that force of your own you want to build, Big Sis Xiao Han. Do you want to do it in the name of a club, or a group spontaneously formed by bypassing the academy club restrictions? Of course, there’s also the issue of this group’s name……”

“Mhm… there’s no rush for this. According to my thoughts, it should naturally be mainly in the form of an academy club, but there is no base of people yet. At this stage, I don’t want to play management games like developing a club. I want to wait until there is a certain foundation and scale before announcing the establishment of the club. Otherwise, once a club is established, the core of the club is easily targeted for trouble.”

I remembered the terrible learning atmosphere of the academy right now and still didn’t plan on establishing a club in the near future.

“Have you thought of a name for the group?”

I asked in passing.

“This… not yet. After all, a name is related to many things, as well as the club philosophy, persistence, and so on derived from it.”

“Is it that complicated? I still hope for everything to be simplified. Like the Bakery Club I know, a place for baking cakes and pastries. Mhm… I think I’m still a member of the Bakery Club……”

“Big Sis Xiao Han, you haven’t quit that club yet?”

Millian was somewhat surprised.

She was even curious about what kind of charm such an unremarkable club had to make someone like Big Sis Xiao Han join.

Not only was there Big Sis Xiao Han, but even that former genius Tan Han, who was in the same batch as Big Sis Xiao Han, was also a member of this club.

The true pillar of this club was nothing more than that Shop Manager, but that Shop Manager…… in short, it’s also hard to explain.

“Mhm, it counts as one of the few clubs I know. There are my friends and seniors I know in there, so I just never quit.”

I shrugged and said very casually.

“Then… since you want everything to be simplified, Big Sis Xiao Han, and you just used the Red Velvet Bakery Club as an example, how about we directly use this club as the foundation for development…… sorry… did I propose a bad idea……”

“This thought of yours……”

I recalled the Shop Manager’s appearance, then remembered Senior Ying Shiqian, Senior Tang Yihan… this was simply a retirement club.

What’s more, doing that would feel a bit like usurping someone else’s nest.

“It really is quite something… but I still highly respect Shop Manager Xia Li’s thoughts. Just don’t mess around.”

“Does that mean you agree?”

“Forget it, let’s shelve this plan for now. Aside from this, there shouldn’t be anything else, right?”

“Nothing else. Then I won’t disturb you.”

After parting with Millian at the cafe, I also came to the laboratory.

Because of this “sudden situation” with Tan Han, the experimental progress had been significantly improved.

The appearance of the first successful case also made Yi Rui and the others very excited.

And I also fully handed over the experiment of continuing to perfect the construction of Self-generating Magic Power to Yi Rui and her sisters.

After all, I had already taught them how to structure Self-generating Magic Power, and for the rest, they needed to summarize the patterns themselves and practice the method to achieve stable success.

Perhaps it was because my one-time success made them significantly overestimate the success rate; they tried it on themselves and up until now, not a single one has succeeded.

So I could only reassure them for a bit.

And what I had to do was simple, which was to help them continue to improve this talent after the Self-generating Magic Power construction was completed.

After all, this kind of talent also needs to be developed.

My current Self-generating Magic Power is naturally like a gushing spring, but there is still a large gap from the theoretical “infinite magic power.”

After all, thinking about the heavy energy consumers in my domain… this bit of magic power from Self-generating Magic Power is definitely not enough to look at.

As for Tan Han… right now, the magic power born from her talent is a bit of a struggle even to shape a complete strand of magic power thread.

This state belongs to the “from nothing to something” within the original plan, and now, it has reached the second stage, “from something to perfection.”

And after having Self-generating Magic Power, Tan Han can also preliminarily carry magic power sources with herself, and her magic power affinity has been greatly improved, with her mental power being enough to interfere with magic power.

However, her magic power sources are still at the 8,000 mark of the Witchified Body Cultivation Method and haven’t exceeded the upper limit of the Earth Vein Chains, so this ability isn’t very urgent yet.

She now urgently needs to further perfect her Self-generating Magic Power.

And if she wants to perfect it, she needs to rely on me.

Only by using myself as a template to continue optimizing the Witchified Body Cultivation Method can she have the possibility of continuing to become stronger.

There are already three important rituals within the current Witchified Body Cultivation Method, namely the “Construction Ritual” and the “Architecture Ritual,” which are the foundation and threshold for the birth of the Self-generating Magic Power talent.

And the third, the “Perfection Ritual,” is the ritual I am currently summarizing.

Literally, it is the ritual for continuously improving and perfecting the Self-generating Magic Power talent.

This requires Tan Han to constantly cooperate with me in experiments.

After all, apart from me, currently only Tan Han alone has constructed non-transcendent level Self-generating Magic Power.

So I need to summarize again how I achieved it back then.

And turn this process into a technique, condensing this technique into a ritual for transmission and teaching, incorporating it into the system of the Witchified Body Cultivation Method.

“Big Sis Xiao Han, it’s rare to see you arrive at this time?”

As soon as I entered the laboratory, someone greeted me.

“Mhm-hmm I went to meet a friend to talk about some things.”

I explained briefly and walked to the inner part of the laboratory.

Tan Han had also already arrived at this time.

“Big Sis Xiao Han arrived so quickly? I still wanted Little Tan to cooperate with us again to see exactly how she succeeded…”

“It’s already late enough today. I’m taking Tan Han away rather than researching Tan Han here, you all might as well experiment for yourselves. Weren’t the images of the previous experiment already recorded? If it really doesn’t work, just go and watch those repeatedly.”

After taking Tan Han out, we also entered another isolated laboratory to avoid outside disturbance.

“How have you been in the laboratory?”

I asked casually.

“It’s okay. The seniors are all very nice to me.”

These were Tan Han’s heartfelt words.

Away from that distracting environment outside, she suddenly understood a bit why Xiao Han couldn’t get along with those people.

She couldn’t get along either, but she had to play along with others every single moment; it had already become her way of life.

“I’ll tell you an unfortunate situation, you probably roughly know it too. The construction of Self-generating Magic Power was unexpectedly successful for you, but if you want to improve, you cannot do it as easily as I did. This requires the ‘Perfection Ritual’ I proposed to continue improving before it’s possible for you to reach my current level. This will be a long wait for you. I think you probably don’t want to waste time on meaningless waiting either, right?”

“I… I can still cooperate with the seniors…”

“To be honest, their experiments don’t really need you. Or rather, whether you’re there or not doesn’t mean much to them. You are the first successful case, and your greatest significance is proving that our idea can succeed, but you don’t have typical representative significance; you only pointed out a general direction for success.”

“Then I……”

“Do you have any thoughts about your own combat power?”

“Combat power? Why are we back to this again?”

“I brought you here from the arena. I don’t believe you won’t be persistent about victory. Have you thought about how to utilize Self-generating Magic Power, as well as the Witchified Body Cultivation Method?”

I asked very concisely and clearly.

“No… the current Self-generating Magic Power hasn’t completely shown its advantages yet. It hasn’t improved my combat power much.”

Tan Han shook her head and said with some regret.

“Your most powerful means, apart from the Wand of Absolute Cold, should be those 100-point consumption spellbooks, right? Have you thought about learning other means to use the massive magic power sources that are your greatest advantage?”

Having said this, my hint was already very obvious.

“So… Xiao Han, you want me to learn new means?”

“The Witchified Body Cultivation Method and Self-generating Magic Power are closely related, but this doesn’t mean the Witchified Body Cultivation Method loses its meaning after the Self-generating Magic Power talent is constructed. Even including the direct perfection of your Self-generating Magic Power, it still requires the coordination of the third ritual of the Witchified Body Cultivation Method. But the Witchified Body Cultivation Method itself also has its own combat system.”

“You mean Body-transformation Spell-type Physical Arts?”

Tan Han quickly made the association.

“Can you think of any other means that can cross the spellbook limit to use magic power sources? Maybe this broad road is very suitable for you, or rather…… I really need you to use this way, without relying on the help of the Wand of Absolute Cold, to show the elegance of the Witchified Body Cultivation Method and Body-transformation spells in the arena with your own strength.”
