Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

“Is such a thing… possible?”

I felt the results observed from the life essence.

Observing from this perspective, the racial concept and bloodline information of my own self were being continuously “converted.”

This process of being constantly transformed into another state was the so-called Witchification.

However, this was merely a result obtained by relying on the theoretical support of the Witch Project and my own observation methods; it was by no means something a normal reserve witch could achieve.

If other transcendent witches knew what was required to advance to Transcendent Witch, they would just follow the rules and do what was needed, such as achieving perfection in the life essence, researching the Witch Project based on that as the power foundation for advancement, and other such conditions, trying repeatedly until they succeeded.

But I had observed how this process of advancing to Transcendent Witch operated.

It was as if others received promotions and raises according to regulations and systems, plus some luck and their own achievements, while I could see the internal operating mechanism.

As long as I complied with this operating mechanism, everything would fall into place, and in the end, it would only depend on what method I chose to succeed.

Although this was merely a metaphor, only now could I give a very concrete promise: give me time, and I would definitely receive a promotion and rai… bah, I would definitely advance to Transcendent Witch.

If the students in the Witch Academy who were confident they could advance to Transcendent Witch were referring to a confident state of mind, then my confidence… stemmed from the fact that I clearly knew how to succeed.

Originally, I only wanted to deeply understand the racial concept and bloodline information belonging to the witch race within the life essence to structure an additional Self-generating Magic Power physical talent, but I hadn’t expected to gain insight into the path of advancing to Transcendent Witch under the Witch Project through this method.

However… this didn’t prevent me from now mastering the theoretical foundation for structuring Self-generating Magic Power upon the life essence!

All that remained was practice to prove it.

Taking myself as an example again, my Self-generating Magic Power was born from self-awakened body cultivation, and after the structure was completed, it became independent of self-awakened body cultivation.

That is to say, the two existed in a state of being mutually independent while mutually achieving each other.

Independence meant that either could exist without the collapse of the structure if the other was missing, while mutual achievement… referred to the totem they shaped.

It was as if the relationship between the two was like a firearm and a bullet, while the manifestation of the totem was like the relationship of the gunshot echoing in one’s ears.

From the description, the relationship wasn’t great, yet they were closely related to both.

This was information presented from another angle.

However, at this moment, I was also trying the Witchified Body Cultivation Method.

I was very curious: if I followed this method, could I structure a brand new Self-generating Magic Power once again upon my own life essence?

Of course, this was just a metaphor.

Self-generating Magic Power was not a concrete object.

Such a thing as two independent individuals of the same concept appearing would not happen.

It was a type of ability structured upon the life essence.

Therefore… the situation most likely to occur was…

As I based myself on the Self-generating Magic Power construction ritual and tried to structure and “hatch” Self-generating Magic Power upon my unformed witch racial concept using the theoretical knowledge I had previously obtained, what I could feel was not the birth of a brand-new Self-generating Magic Power, but rather my original Self-generating Magic Power falling into place and forming a special relationship with my own witch racial concept.

Subsequently… a miraculous relationship was born upon my life essence!

Self-awakened body cultivation and Self-generating Magic Power were co-structured, while the Witchified Body Cultivation Method facilitated the connection between the “racial concept and bloodline information of my own witch self” and Self-generating Magic Power.

Just like that, an unclosed triangular structure was born!

“Ah?”

When such a situation appeared, even I let out a cry of disbelief!

And accompanying my cry was the totem that surfaced instinctively!

The instinctive surfacing of the totem was a power that exceeded my control.

Originally, the totem should have been gradually mastered by me, but now the totem was “rioting” again, naturally escaping my control!

Soon, fine Void Cracks were torn open by the unknown power of the totem.

Such a huge commotion instantly caused everyone in the laboratory to stop what they were doing.

And the first to react were transcendent witch mentors like Belica.

As mentors, they had naturally felt this power coming from a totem before, and another power was equally familiar to them—it was the power of the Void Crack!

“Don’t get close! Xiao Han is tearing open a Void Crack, stay further away!”

Belica immediately propped up a protective spell, isolating everyone who had rushed over.

Although this kind of protective spell could not contend with a crack that opened into the Void, these protective spells were only for keeping a safe distance.

“This… exactly what happened?”

At this moment, even Tan Han, who was in the sealed and undisturbed independent experimental room, was startled by the commotion.

That heart-palpitating power was an existence that even the transcendent isolation materials of the laboratory could not block.

“It’s the totem. Did Big Sis Xiao Han trigger the totem’s power again?”

The people who only half-understood could only explain it this way.

After all, they had experienced such a thing before, and could be considered… barely familiar with it?

At least they knew more than Tan Han, who knew nothing at all.

“Xiao Han, what is the situation with you?”

As the first to react, Mentor Belica, along with several other mentors who had come over to help, prepared to speak and inquire after seeing that the situation seemed relatively stable.

“I don’t know the specific situation either. The totem seems to be being perfected for a second time. Don’t worry, the newly added power is a bit out of control, but it is still within a safe range.”

I spoke and explained during the interval.

When I perfected the relationship constructed from the three nodes, the totem that had originally been born from the structure of self-awakened body cultivation and Self-generating Magic Power was “expanded” and “perfected” once more.

No matter how it was described, the fact was just so: three “concepts” belonging to the life essence were structured into an unclosed triangular relationship.

The totem underwent brand-new changes because of this.

And I discovered that the totem itself seemed to be a type of “reinforcement adhesive.”

It was like an additional relationship between the three that bound them together, like a guarantee maintaining the stability of this relationship.

“Totem… being perfected?”

Hearing my explanation, Belica and the others were also filled with confusion.

After all, they hadn’t researched the field of totems much themselves.

The totems they mastered were all just imitations, and they couldn’t master the source of power for driving totems.

Therefore, this was the first time they had heard that an existence like a totem… could be perfected.

Weren’t totems just totems?

Although they had many speculations just by hearing these concepts, they lacked the actual ability to verify them, so these speculations were destined to be delusions.

And as I felt the portion of the totem representing the witch racial concept and bloodline information, it also gradually began to converge.

After having the relationship between the previous two and the totem, I also gradually mastered the method of driving the totem.

A totem was like an additional power attached outside of an ability.

The two were not a unified power yet were closely related to it, but as long as the relationship between this power and the totem was figured out, the totem could be utilized.

And the part of the totem power that could currently be utilized to its maximum extent still belonged to self-awakened body cultivation.

Because the concept of self-awakened body cultivation had been extended most profoundly and immensely by me, not only did it have body cultivation power, five senses power, the prototype of the sixth and seventh senses, and so on, but it also had body cultivation runes brought by the perfection of physical arts.

This meant that even when performing physical arts, I could guide the totem to augment myself!

Following that was Self-generating Magic Power, and as my understanding of Self-generating Magic Power grew deeper and deeper—although the vast majority of that understanding belonged to the “theoretical foundation”—the totem portion of Self-generating Magic Power was the part I had the most “conjectures” about.

Although conjectures were not equal to truth, since it could be treated as a conjecture, it could be universally used within certain limits.

However… regarding the existence of the witch racial concept and bloodline information, I truly didn’t know how this concept was supposed to trigger the totem.

As the saying goes, it doesn’t matter if I don’t understand now; in short, I’ll put it aside and talk about it slowly in the future.

What’s more, a thing like a totem inherently could not be understood or mastered using conventional cognition.

Gradually, the totem around me faded away, leaving only my outstretched hand.

My fingertip traced an arc, and that pitch-black Void Crack, like a swimming snake, moved at the end of my fingertip.

This Void Crack that destroyed everything was a type of application attached to the terrifying power of the totem.

It didn’t belong to the power of the totem itself, but was simply something achieved by the power of the totem itself.

It was just like a finger brushing across the surface of water, creating ripples.

This Void Crack seemed capable of being used for other purposes as well, it was just that I still couldn’t utilize it very well yet and could only rely on it to cause damage.

I had personally witnessed Academy Head Bev Ailana grab a Void Crack with her bare hands, so the power of the Void Crack itself was something that could possibly be resisted for a transcendent witch at the level of the Academy Head.

“Xiao Han, you can master the ability to tear open a Void Crack?!”

Seeing my application of the Void Crack, which clearly belonged to the “controllable” category, Mentor Belica cried out in surprise.

“Not really. This is just a mechanism attached after mastering the totem. All I can do now is tear it open and wait for it to heal naturally. It is still very dangerous for me to touch it myself.”

I shook my head and said.

“That is still very impressive!”

Belica said in shock.

This was a Void Crack!

the value it represented had already exceeded her cognition.

The reason it exceeded her cognition was because she could not achieve tearing open a Void Crack, so naturally she didn’t know what such a concept could achieve.

For a transcendent witch, a spatial rift that could be torn open casually had absolutely no comparability with a so-called Void Crack.

“This is not important.”

I shook my head and said.

A totem was inherently a type of “augmentation” that didn’t require me to cultivate, but could continuously strengthen as I continuously mastered my own power.

The important thing was that my behavior just now had demonstrated one thing: the racial concept and bloodline information of the witch self could serve as the foundation for Self-generating Magic Power and structure it!

Although this was still in the theoretical stage before, I was able to succeed directly only because I already possessed Self-generating Magic Power.

Everything for me fell into place, but for this theoretical foundation to turn into actual techniques and be provided to Yi Rui, Tan Han, and the others for universal use, it still required continuous trials and searching for the possibility of success amidst endless failures.

“I have found the basic theory for structuring Self-generating Magic Power. Now I need a physical experiment.”

I spoke.

“Succeeded?”

Mentor Belica was somewhat surprised.

She had originally thought this was another attempt by Xiao Han, hoping to find new inspiration through the totem, but she hadn’t expected the key point to be found directly this time?

“It’s not quite a success. I’ve only used myself as an experiment to verify the possibility of success, but Mentor Belica, as you know, I already possess Self-generating Magic Power myself, so my method is not universal. Experiments are needed.”

“I’ll do it! You can use me for the experiment.”

Yi Rui was the first to stand up and speak, without a single trace of fear.

Following Yi Rui’s words, others also began to scramble to volunteer themselves.

They had participated in this experiment that had lasted for several months as “guinea pigs,” wasn’t it for this?

“No rush, Yi Rui. To what extent has the resonance upper limit of your Witch-transformation Reconstruction Metamorphic Spell reached?”

I shook my head, reaching out to press down the excitement of the crowd, and then I spoke and inquired.

Although I knew the answer myself—after all, my clones left in the laboratory were constantly participating in this experiment.

But having it spoken by the people who had worked hard and struggled for it, like Yi Rui and the others, was also an affirmation of their hard work.

“It has already reached 8650 coins. Give us a few more days, and we can perfect it to the ten thousand upper limit.”

“Is that so? This speed is indeed very fast.”

I nodded and gave them an affirmative answer.

Their speed was already so fast it exceeded my expectations.

It had to be said that the ten-times base resonance method they created with their wisdom was indeed a brilliant idea.

Although it had minor flaws, they didn’t obscure its brilliance.

Furthermore, in order to more stably construct the Self-generating Magic Power construction ritual, I had also witnessed their perfection of the “Micro-control Resonance Method” throughout the entire process.

“Over eight thousand coins should be barely enough to construct a complete Self-generating Magic Power construction ritual, but ten thousand is safer. I will divide the construction stages of Self-generating Magic Power according to the natural grading of the ten-times base.”

“Then… Xiao Han, who do you plan to have go first?”

“Asking me…”

My gaze turned to Tan Han, who was to the side.

Actually, the answer was already very obvious, “Let Tan Han do it. You all continue to perfect the resonance upper limit of the Magic Power Sources. The following experiments will be conducted by Tan Han cooperating with me.”

“Eh? Let Tan Han go first? Alright…”

Getting this answer, a sliver of disappointment actually flashed through the eyes of many people.

After all… this represented the first successful case!

Everyone hoped they would be the one most worth commemorating.

Although they knew that such an opportunity wouldn’t fall to them in the end, they were still a bit downhearted hearing it wasn’t them.

They were, after all, human, with their own emotions and their own pursuit of achievement and glory.

“Actually, my choice of Tan Han still has my own considerations.”

Seeing that many people revealed looks of disappointment, I still took the initiative to explain, “The upcoming trials will require constant trial and error. I’ve only proven the possibility of success with myself, but I haven’t found a path to success for you all. Therefore, we will face a large number of failures. This is something that depends very much on luck.”

“So, speaking of things like luck… who could possibly compare to the concept of the Child of Destiny? Precisely to avoid unnecessary failure, we urgently need the first successful case to point out a path to success for us. Therefore, my choice of Tan Han is not out of selfishness, but to allow our path to be walked more calmly.”

Of course, actually, I had another candidate in mind—that was Ninglan Qiuyue, who had completed the unification of the Expansion Realm.

The destiny gathered by her was even more immense, even carrying the destiny of the Expansion Realm itself.

And… she also possessed a transcendent item that could manipulate destiny, the “Heart of Ninglan.”

However, as far as the present was concerned… Tan Han was sufficient.

Otherwise, how could Ninglan Qiuyue count as a backup plan?

If I really had to use this backup plan, I might have to run over to Academy Head Mei’s side again and ask for some leniency.

After all, Ninglan Qiuyue was still in the Expansion Realm, and the Expansion Realm had also temporarily closed its passages.
