Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1922: Chapter 1924: Have Some Pity on My Godfather

Cheng Su said she wanted to help Ning Ge in his pursuit of a wife, and she wasn’t kidding. Not only was she going to put in effort herself, she was also encouraging Qi Xiaoqi to help out as well. It’s well known that adults have no defenses against children and find it hard to refuse them.

”You want me to clean up the mess you’ve made?” Qi Xiaoqi grumbled, pointing to himself.

Cheng Su smacked his head lightly and glared, ”What mess? I haven’t made any mess. I’m just looking out for your poor godfather. It’s not about taking the blame, it’s about helping out. Just act cute a bit for Aunt Jiaying, and get some votes for your godfather.”

Qi Xiaoqi sneered, ”If he can’t even handle a woman, how can he talk about doing great things?”

Cheng Su crossed her arms and sneered back, ”Don’t get all smug. If you ever face such a problem yourself, don’t come begging me for help!”

Qi Xiaoqi scoffed lightly.

”Alright, anyhow, just know you need to get votes for your godfather, got it? He’s even given you a big present, company shares. The market value of those shares is rising fast. Not to mention, your godfather dotes on you. You know how it is when you’ve eaten someone’s food and drink, you ought to help out, right?” Cheng Su said.

Qi Xiaoqi pursed his lips for a long moment before compromising.

Song Jiaying arrived with Song Tianyi at Cheng Su’s place, and as soon as she entered, she exclaimed, ”Quick, help me clean him up. He made a mess; I could smell it in the car!”

Cheng Su twitched her mouth, how impolite!

Alright, for Ning Ge’s sake.

She carried the crying Xiao Tianyi into the bathroom, and after tidying up and coming out, she saw Song Jiaying cuddling and kissing Qi Xiaoqi.

”Hey, your son is smart and well-behaved, definitely easy to take care of. Not like mine, who loves to cry all day and poops a lot. Let’s swap!” Song Jiaying said to Cheng Su.

Cheng Su’s mouth twitched again, sympathetically gazing at Xiao Tianyi, who was licking his lips and looking pitifully at her.

To be disfavored by one’s own mother, truly pitiful.

”Once he acts up, he’ll drive you crazy. Xiao Tianyi is very obedient too. Did you bring formula? He looks hungry!” Cheng Su asked.

Song Jiaying then rummaged through her diaper bag, hurriedly poured and mixed the formula, and stuffed it into Cheng Su’s hands before grabbing Qi Xiaoqi to continue chatting.

Well, she really just shoved her son onto her!

Cheng Su coughed, saying, ”I can see you truly have no experience taking care of kids. You dare take him out alone? Since you’re here for the wedding, why not leave him at home with your family to look after him?”

”Left at home, Ning Ge would snatch my son away,” Song Jiaying said. ”It’s safer if I bring him along.”

Cheng Su laughed, ”I told you, you can’t hide. Isn’t this proof he found out? How’s the game of chase, fun? I see Ning Ge is almost going crazy, he nearly strangled me for not reporting!”

Song Jiaying awkwardly smiled but replied coldly, ”So he knows, that’s that. My son is mine, what can he do?” She glanced at Cheng Su, ”Did he come to question you?”

”How else would I know you came?” Cheng Su said.

”I’m sick of him, like a tailing dog, making me so angry I feel like escaping abroad!” Song Jiaying said coldly.

”Even if you escape abroad, he’ll still find you. If he didn’t know you had Tianyi, it would be one thing, but now that he knows, if he stays indifferent, that would truly be chilling,” Cheng Su said. ”Anyway, I see you both are a pair of bickering lovers. You run, he chases, I find it pathetic to watch.”

”Aunt Jiaying, have mercy on my godfather, he’s crying and whining, it’s really not manly!” Qi Xiaoqi pleaded cutely while tugging on Song Jiaying.
