Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1916: Chapter 1918: Now You’re Playing the Victim?

Cheng Su was staggered by Ning Ge’s words, almost losing her balance. She turned around and brushed her hair: ”What are you talking about?”

She walked over to Old Master Cheng, greeted him first, then looked at Cheng Yaozu and Ying Xiaoya, silently asking what was going on, why was he here?

Cheng Yaozu coughed, his eyes dodging, fingers tapping his leg, Ying Xiaoya didn’t dare look at her, glanced at Ning Ge, and mouthed: It’s exposed.

”No need for signals anymore, under my questioning, they’ve all confessed,” Ning Ge sat down, looking grim, gritting his teeth as he asked, ”Cheng Su, you knew about it, didn’t you?”

”Knew about what?”

”The fact that Song Jiaying returned to the country, and about my son.” Ning Ge’s teeth were grinding with rage.

”What son?” Cheng Su’s eyes widened: ”You have a son?”

”Keep pretending, go on pretending.” Ning Ge sneered, ”Cheng Su, you’re something. You knew Song Jiaying returned with my son a long time ago but never told me. You’re some friend!”

As he spoke further, his tone became somewhat hurt and annoyed, weren’t they best friends? But Cheng Su knew beforehand and didn’t tell him. No, everyone knew except him.

Old Master Cheng lightly coughed and stood up: ”Xiao Qi, accompany your grandpa to play chess!” He said, reaching out his hand, matters of the younger generation shouldn’t be meddled in.

Qi Xiaoqi gave Cheng Su a look that said ’you’re on your own’, took the old master’s hand and left.

Cheng Su rubbed her nose, seeing Ning Ge’s expression, she said: ”I knew, but I promised Song Jiaying not to tell you, isn’t it important to keep one’s word?”

”You have a point now? I’m your real friend, not her.” Ning Ge’s face darkened.

”Yes, yes, I know, didn’t I give you subtle hints repeatedly? So, you’re only reacting now, understanding my hints?” Cheng Su asked nosily, how did he find out?

Ning Ge mocked: ”You hid it so deep, how was I supposed to know your hints? It’s not because I’m smart that I figured out I have a son before getting married, my sister told me.”

He initially received a call from his elder sister, feeling bewildered, until he saw Song Tianyi, his son, realizing what resulted from that one night.

No wonder, no wonder that woman Song Jiaying ran abroad for over a year and wouldn’t come back no matter what, she was hiding to give birth.

If not for his sister taking her nephew to the hospital for emergency care and coincidentally bumping into Song Jiaying with Song Tianyi for an emergency, discovering the matter and telling him, he’d still be kept in the dark.

Knowing about Song Tianyi, the family exploded, he almost got beaten to death by his elder brother and the others, they pushed him to quickly go to the Song family to make a statement, discuss marrying Song Jiaying.

His elder brother and the others thought it simple, but that woman Song Jiaying, is as stubborn as a mule, claimed the son was hers alone and she would raise him, refusing to marry him, always playing hide and seek.

No marriage, the son won’t return to the Ning Family, how is that possible?

The Ning Family certainly wouldn’t agree, nor would he, but the more they pressured Song Jiaying, the more she avoided. Daring to snatch people, she would disappear with the son in a flash, so he didn’t dare push too hard, only coaxing gently.

It wasn’t just him, even the family helped to coax, the elder brother and his wife went to the Song family to apologize or whatever, but that woman is stubborn.

This time, she silently brought her son to Guangcheng claiming to attend a wedding, it was actually dodging him, luckily he had informants, and chased her here.
