Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 500: Nathanʼs Solution (Bonus)

Nathanʼs face turned grim once he started reading the letter.

ʼIʼve received the message from the palace. The situation isnʼt looking good right now. A few of our bases on the frontline have been destroyed by the alienʼs surprise attacks.

ʼThereʼs a suspicion of multiple elite class aliens or an alpha class alien coming to attack us. Although it hasnʼt been confirmed, Elysion Aquamoon somehow told them that the sword saint will die if theyʼre carelessly approaching the aliens.

ʼHence, theyʼre planning to evacuate the south and probably the capital and focus their entire force on the north.

ʼTheyʼre planning to maintain the frontline right now, but only at the last defense line. As a result, this wonʼt be enough to catch all the aliens. There will be around 40% to 50% of the aliens that will come through.

ʼAs a result, they want to create a killing zone past the front line. The royal decree is going to be announced soon regarding this matter. In other words, several nobles will lose their territories so that summoners and mercenaries can head there to kill aliens, reducing the number that will reach the capital.

ʼHis Majesty is planning to convene a meeting with other sovereigns as soon as possible. I donʼt think itʼs weird for them to shift back to their border as well.

ʼWe are planning to concentrate on those areas and ensure stability after that.ʼ

Nathan pinched the bridge of his nose.

”Whatʼs wrong?” Noelle asked.

Nathan thought for a moment. ”Tell Selena, Sera, and Alavenya that weʼll depart in one week. Weʼll be hunting as many aliens as possible for two weeks. It will be better if you and Flora can join, meaning that we can split up.

”Also, tell Flora that the food supply can be solved. The finished device will come tomorrow, and weʼll begin the mass production right after. Right now, we can supply 30 of them every day.

”We need to create a charging station as well, so mention it to her. I want them to arrange the position and other things.

”Since theyʼre going to convene a meeting with other sovereigns, itʼs better to let them discuss the allocation of those devices. Of course, donʼt forget to mention the materials for them along with the cores since weʼre the ones charging everything before we send the products.

”I donʼt know if they have found the cause of the increasing number of aliens, but I suspect that there are lands across the sea that have been fighting with us. But because of the eruption, theyʼre gone, meaning all the aliens allocated to their lands will be focused on us.

”Hence, thereʼs a high possibility that there will be more and more aliens coming to us. All summoners have to get stronger, and the knights have to be prepared.

”Weʼll supply the magic weapons as well. Weʼll produce a batch of a hundred magic weapons every day. We will send it to the Azilia Kingdom, the Holy Kingdom, the Liaystian Kingdom, and the Beast Kingdom. Weʼll rotate in that order.

”Please discuss their plans with this in mind. This will change a lot of their decisions. I will tell you the information about the Divine Hand Organization in a few hours. Let me compile the information first.”

Noelle nodded furiously. ”I understand.”

Nathan didnʼt know if Noelle noticed that Nathan prioritized the Azilia Kingdom over the Holy Kingdom, even though the latter was basically the symbol of resistance.

If Flora was the one in front of him, she would have been overjoyed. Nevertheless, it should be a clear message to Flora.

Unfortunately, Nathan couldnʼt leave at this time because he had to prepare for a lot of things, including the teleportation circle.

In the end, they were going to evacuate the north. There was a chance that the aliens would attack those cities and destroy the teleportation circles.

Even if they didnʼt do so, these teleportation circles might be abandoned soon. Without any maintenance, they wouldnʼt be able to function.

Hence, it would be better to have a private teleportation circle.

For the next several days, Nathan was focused on the spheres, as well as training his control. It appeared that Selena and the others werenʼt slacking either.

Because they werenʼt as busy as Nathan, all of them ended up progressing by leaps and bounds, especially in the new technique they developed after fighting against the three hands.

As Nathan expected, Flora was overjoyed when she received the message and immediately arranged for it to be delivered to her father right away.

However, Flora was still too stressed by the school matter.

When she raised her head, she saw the gloomy expressions of the remaining members of the student council.

They were worried about their families. Although they didnʼt understand everything, they had heard about big movements the Azilia Kingdom had taken.

They realized something big was going on, and there was no instruction yet. In fact, Noelle and Selena leaving the student council alone was already a big sign for them.

They couldnʼt help but wonder if Flora was going to hold them here the whole time.

When she turned around and looked at the academy, she realized that the atmosphere had become even worse. After all, there were a few people from the families that had been evacuated, whether they came from the southern territories or were related to the ministers.

The rumors spread like wildfire.

In fact, there was a group of people holding a demonstration.

”We need an explanation about whatʼs going on!”

”Her Highness Flora. Please explain to us whatʼs happening right now.”

”Youʼre royalty, so you must know whatʼs going on.”

”This is injustice. This is why people in power will stay in power. They wonʼt reveal anything to us until itʼs too late. They will abandon us.”

It would soon become chaotic and even resort to force. Even before commoners raised their arms, these students would have been the first ones to overthrow the student council.

Flora gritted her teeth. At this rate, it would only take one or two days before they ended up marching directly into the student council.

She had prepared a few things, but that would only be enough for a few days. Longer than that required either an explanation or action from another party.
