Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 454: Not Just One Smile (Bonus)

Kana was utterly terrified. Even though there was a gap between them, she never thought it would be this big.

”Monster.” Kana stepped back.

Evelyn was casually walking toward her. The closer she became, the more terrified Kana was.

She couldnʼt imagine what kind of brutality she would be subjected to.

”No! Donʼt come closer!” Kana screamed.

Nathan frowned. He could still use his ice. Even though it would be weak, it should be enough to stop Kana for a bit. At least, he had to ensure that Kana didnʼt try to kill herself.

Evelyn, on the other hand, kept coming closer.

”Donʼt come closer, you monster!” Kana fell on her butt.

As if responding to their summonerʼs voice, her four familiars released everything they had, working together to withstand this pressure.

They all then jumped toward Evelyn, ambushing her from behind.

”How foolish…” Unfortunately for them, Evelyn never really lowered her guard. She had expected this long ago.

Thirty portals appeared on all their bodies, similar to that of the minotaur.

In that instant, Kanaʼs face turned pale. She would be traumatized if she saw her familiars being butchered like nothing.

”NOOOOO!”

Evelyn joined her middle finger and index finger before waving it like swinging a sword. ”Cut.”

Right that moment, all four familiars were dismembered into pieces as their bodies fell down to the ground like a bunch of meat.

”NOOOO! You monster!” Kana screamed, with tears streaming down her eyes. She plunged herself toward Evelyn, but it was the same as delivering herself to Evelyn.

She caught Kanaʼs neck and lifted her up.

”You—!” Kana gritted her teeth. Even without saying it, Evelyn knew she wouldnʼt forgive her.

That was why it didnʼt really matter.

Evelyn just shook her body with the gravity from the inside, which caused her body to fall limp.

All three hands were completely subdued, one more brutal than the other.

Nathan blinked his eyes a few times.

ʼIs this the true strength of Evelyn Lavender? Master said she is approaching the World Class Summoner level, but I donʼt think thatʼs the case.

ʼAfter all, I wonder if the Pope, the Sword Saint, or even the Dragon King is even stronger than her. I canʼt understand that level yet.

ʼHowever, I know that someone like her must have a trump card. That trump card might allow her to stand toe-to-toe against the likes of the World Class Summoner.

ʼSo, this is the leader of the Sleeping Garden. She must have hidden her strength this whole time to make sure to exact her revenge.

ʼThen again, whatʼs with that hair? Her golden hair is already quite nice, similar to Floraʼs, but this silver hair just gives a more cold and ruthless aura. No. Is it even silver? It doesnʼt really glow like silver. Itʼs more like pale white? Thereʼs also a bit pinkish on the tip.

ʼIs space element being defined by pink color like the ice being blue and fire being red?

ʼNow that I think about it, she once mentioned that she had a side effect after making her second lifebound familiar. Is this the side effect? I donʼt think this is all.

ʼStill, isnʼt it nice? She is able to change her hair color, and it looks beautiful… I guess I should really take the sageʼs intention into consideration. If I let her fight the leader of the Divine Hand Organization, I should be able to learn the extent of her power.

ʼBut I have to make some preparations to make sure everything goes according to plan in case she is not strong enough to face him.ʼ

Nathanʼs expression turned solemn.

She teleported all three bodies to the same spot before turning to Nathan and the others.

The girls didnʼt know about Evelyn, so they raised their stance. Even if they knew they would die, they had to fight for their lives.

Anubis, on the other hand, knew Evelyn the most out of the four divine beasts. He only said, ”You girls. No need to be so hostile. She is an ally.”

Alavenya and Sera were startled, but Anubis didnʼt seem to be lying. After exchanging looks, they both lowered their hands.

On the other hand, Selena remained slightly hostile… for a different reason, though.

While walking toward them, Evelyn couldnʼt help but assess everything. ʼHe has an ice that has reached the absolute zero? This is the first time Iʼve heard about it.

ʼHow does he get it? His familiar doesnʼt seem to have something like that. No. I think Iʼve heard it from Bella… something about his abnormal ena.

ʼWith that kind of starting ena, his talent should be at the top. But according to the report, his absorption rate is the lowest? Something doesnʼt add up.

ʼDoes he have another secret? I think this is the only possible reason. No, wait. He always asked us to leave him alone whenever we wanted to interrogate someone.

ʼIf we add this ice into the equation, his ability must be neither the ice nor that interrogation ability. It is something much more versatile that can turn into an ice element that has reached the absolute zero stage.

ʼWhat kind of ability is that? Is he born with it? Can someone actually be born with an innate ability? Or is this why he is so different? Is this the reason he is able to summon beasts?

ʼThere are a lot of questions in my mind, but if I consider everything, he is a very sharp sword.

ʼNo. Everything has been progressing smoothly after taking him in. With both mind and ability, he is able to do almost everything.

ʼAlthough his lustful personality is problematic, it doesnʼt sound like he is forcing himself on someone. If I continue to nurture him, thereʼs a high chance that Iʼm able to get my revenge.

ʼAnd a smile? What kind of price is that? Let alone one smile. If he can help me exact my revenge, I will smile at him whenever we meet…ʼ

Evelyn, with her cold face, stopped in front of Nathan as the latter looked her in the eye as if he wasnʼt scared.
