Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 456: Furious Divine Hand Organization

”What did you say?ʼ Iskar stood up in shock.

Lucasʼ expression turned grim. ”I have lost contact with them.”

”Lost contact? What did you mean by lost contact?”

Lucas lowered his head. ”It means everything. I havenʼt received any news about them. In addition, I have checked the hidden teleportation coordinates that Iʼve planted in their bodies, but they have been deactivated.

”I canʼt find anything related to them. Iʼm thinking about going there to check it personally, but Iʼm afraid itʼs going to be another trap.”

Iskarʼs face became pale. He dropped to his chair while saying, ”This is…”

Garamʼs expression darkened. His body was exuding so much ena that the place was shrouded by black mist. And it created an immense pressure that even they had a hard time breathing.

”Kh. Master…” Iskar gritted his teeth.

”Are you saying that those three have been captured?”

Lucas lowered his head. ”Iʼm sorry.”

”Why do you not do anything?”

”Itʼs not that I didnʼt do anything. Itʼs that I couldnʼt. I had even checked their teleportation coordinates, but yesterday, in the afternoon, it was cut off. It was as if there was something that severed the connection.

”It was most likely that the enemy had something that could seal a space element. It was either a device or the enemy himself was a space element user.

”And with this kind of strength, whoever did it was much stronger than me.

”I suspected the latter due to the erasure of the coordinate. A few hours after losing contact with them, I could feel the connection had been severed. The space element user must have erased it.”

Garam squinted his eyes. ”A space element user?”

Iskar shouted, ”Who is that space element user? There arenʼt many space element users in the world because itʼs a rare element. And itʼs even less for those who are stronger than you.”

”Yes.” Lukas nodded.

Iskar had to take control of this conversation. If his master spoke, he would end up bursting with rage. That was something he didnʼt want to experience.

”We need to know the identity of that space element user. Since there arenʼt many space element users out there, we should investigate them and their connection to Nathan.”

Garam gritted his teeth and suddenly stood up, releasing a massive amount of ena. ”You bastard!”

The people inside the room fell on the table and started gasping for air.

Garam glared at Lucas. ”If you knew it had been cut, you should have gone to me first. I could still activate my curses so that they wouldnʼt be captured! And look at what youʼve done! Were you purposely giving those people our information?”

Lucasʼ body was crushed on the floor. He was struggling to even get up. Black lines started to spread on his skin. ”Master… Please have some mercy. I have been doing everything for the organization!”

Garam stretched his hand. His anger was determined to kill Lucas for this failure. After all, the secret had been leaked.

Iskar did his best to resist. ”Master… Please wait. If you kill Lucas right now, we will have a lot of problems. We canʼt even trace or read the teleportation sequence anymore. It means we wonʼt be able to target anyone.

”In addition, Lucas has been doing a lot of things for us, including the spatial transfer. If you kill him, the organization will slow down.

”Please reconsider, Master.”

Garam turned to him. His angry glare felt like the death reaper was about to take him to the underworld. Iskar could feel that he was going to die because he faced his master, but if Lucas died, his ambition would definitely be destroyed. After all, Lucas played a key role in whether they could destroy the world or not.

Iskar continued, ”Instead of killing Lucas, we should focus our attention on the enemy right now. Jisawn might not know everything, but he was still wise and cautious. If they made a move, they should have considered everything, including the existence of Sage Leyfon.

”The sage was not there, but there was this hidden expert. In that case, Nathan is definitely their trump card to lure us.

”Thatʼs why we shouldnʼt attack Nathan again for the time being. Instead, we should find a random target to confuse them.

”We also need a damage control action. Please. Assess our organizationʼs situation first.” Iskar panted heavily, having a hard time maintaining his consciousness.

Garam gritted his teeth. He wanted to kill them right away, but as Iskar said, they needed to do other things.

Garam shifted his gaze to the others. ”But we canʼt let him off like this. If he plays the key role, we should do something. How about his parents?”

One of the hands stood up in fear. ”We have checked. It seems his parents are being secretly protected by the Azilia Kingdom. We havenʼt conducted a thorough observation, so we are unsure of their strength.”

He indirectly told Garam that Jisawn, who was in charge of that job, had died, so it was impossible to approach Nathanʼs parents. It wasnʼt like they could do something to the Pope, the Dragon King, or the Ashton family because of their strength or relationship.

Garam slammed the table. ”Damn it!”

Iskar clenched his hands into fists. ”I suggest we hide ourselves for the time being and target random people. This way, we can confuse them for a bit. Itʼs hard to move around in winter, so we can always wait until spring before making our move. The infected people will be more effective at that time.

”In addition, we should focus on consolidating our situation first. The loss this time is pretty huge. Hence, we should get new hands.

”If we donʼt do this, the organization will collapse, and Masterʼs goal canʼt be achieved.”

The others actually agreed to Iskarʼs suggestion. If they killed Lucas, it would be impossible to recover for a while.

Hence, it would be better to wait until spring comes.

Little did they know, something big would happen when they were waiting.
