Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 484: Fiancee

Nathan was roaming around the area, as he still couldnʼt find Selena and Sera.

Alavenya couldnʼt help but furrow her eyebrows. ”Is there something wrong?”

”Have you seen Selena and Sera? Have they reached this place yet?” Nathan asked, looking worried.

”Not yet. I have been around the teleportation circle, but I havenʼt seen them.”

”Thatʼs weird. Iʼve told them to go to us after Sera returns…” Nathan fell into deep thought. ”Has Sera returned yet? Selena wasnʼt in the Frexia Academy when I visited Flora, so I thought I might have passed them…”

Alavenya felt something was wrong. ”Are they kidnapped?”

”Who kidnaps them? The only person I can think of is the acting count of the Ashton family. However, he wouldnʼt move this soon due to the ash. The Divine Hand Organization has just lost their people not long ago, so they wonʼt make a move anytime soon.

”This is weird. Selena is usually perfect in executing the plan, so where is she…” Nathan frowned. ”Is she in the Holy Kingdom to find Sera?”

”Iʼm not sure.” Alavenya shook her head. ”I want to help you find them, but my hands are still occupied with the relocation of these people. The lord here has been chewing my ears this whole time.”

Nathan nodded. ”Well, Iʼve done my part for the time being, so I will look for them. Keep up the good work.”

”All right. If Iʼm done, Iʼll help you.”

”Yep!” Nathan waved his hand as he headed to the teleportation circle, ready to go to the Frexia Academy before the Holy Kingdom to find them.

To his surprise, another group of people was being transported by the teleportation circle, which startled Nathan.

After all, the ones who led them were actually Selena and Sera.

”Ah!” Nathan froze for a second before his anxiety turned to joy. He leaped toward them and hugged them. ”You guys are fine! Iʼve been searching for you guys!”

Selena and Sera blushed. They had hugged Nathan a lot of times, so they were embarrassed because of another thing.

It was then Nathan heard familiar voices.

”Where is this?”

”Oh, my.”

”Eh?” Nathan raised his head and saw both of his parents. ”!!!”

He was startled. That was right. He had parents in this world. He was basically a stranger to them, despite his longing for parents. This wasnʼt the way. However, they were still his biological parents in this world.

The original Nathan had given him this second chance to live, so the least he could do was to take care of his biological parents.

However, he forgot about them.

”Nathan. As expected… Are they our daughters-in-law?” His father asked with a shocked face.

”They are good girls. I approve of them. When are you going to marry them?” His mother nodded with a smile.

He realized that the rest of the villagers also moved together with them.

”Dad… Mom… And the rest…”

His mother explained, ”You have to thank both of them. If not for their persistence, we might not leave our village…”

…

A few hours ago.

As soon as Sera returned, Selena suggested visiting one more place before they went to Nathan. And that was the village where Nathanʼs parents lived.

”What is going on?” Nathanʼs father responded while opening the door with sleepy eyes. She was surprised to see two beautiful girls appearing at his doorstep. ”Who are you?”

”Hello, Father… I mean, Uncle.” Selena politely bowed. ”Iʼm Selena Ashton. And this is Serafina Dialanta. We are Nathanʼs… fiancee.”

Selena introduced herself as fiancee, definitely not because she wanted them to think that way but because that status would help her in convincing Nathanʼs parents to move… definitely.

”Fiancee…” Nathanʼs father widened his eyes in shock.

”Well, we would like to talk a lot about this, but there is a situation going on.”

”Hmmm? How about coming in first?”

”Thank you very much.”

Selena and Sera explained everything that happened, including the fact that Nathan was creating a new safe place for a lot of people. She even created a little heroic tale, which made her look even more favorable and convincing.

However, there was one problem. It was that they had been attached to this village. The only solution that Selena could see was actually convincing the entire village to move.

As a result, Selena begged for Nathanʼs father to help them gather the people.

She had predicted the result.

One of the villagers said, ”Iʼm sorry, girls. I know that you are asking out of good will, but we canʼt leave. I have spent my entire life in this village. There are so many memories in this place, and I canʼt bear to leave them behind.”

A lot of villagers thought the same.

Sera didnʼt know how to convince them. At the very least, they had to convince Nathanʼs parents.

Selena, on the other hand, explained, ”I can understand how it feels to leave your home since I have left mine as well. But please think that instead of letting that memory be buried here, you should bring it with you so that you can continue living with those precious memories.

”Itʼs a hard thing to do, I understand. However, this is not the sole purpose for me asking you to go with me. Right now, the biggest problem in the world is food, so we need to create a new type of farmland that can endure such a harsh temperature.

”All of you have been farming for your entire life. The accumulation of experience and knowledge will surely be useful to solve the food problem for the entire world.

”Please help us.” Selena politely lowered her head.

They were flustered. On the one hand, they might have to. On the other hand, their hearts still belonged to this place.

Even Nathanʼs father and mother felt bad because they couldnʼt help her.

To everyoneʼs surprise, Selena lifted her head and said, ”I know this is a hard thing to do, so if you still donʼt want to move after all this explanation…”

People were staring at her, thinking that she would threaten them like how a noble did things.

Unexpectedly, she just smiled. ”I will come back and persuade you again. I will never give up.”

Seeing that sweet smile and sincerity persuaded at least half of the people there, including Nathanʼs father and mother.

…

Nathan didnʼt expect Selena and Sera would do those things in these few hours.

”Well, you have a lot of things to do. I might not be able to help over there, but I can at least take away your worries. I apologize if Iʼm being nosy.” Selena smiled embarrassedly.

Nathanʼs face and heart just melted. ”Good work, you two. Really good work. And thank you.”
