Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 451: Too Long (Bonus)

Yin Zhen and Risa avoided huge stems with thorns that appeared from the ground in rapid succession. Due to the snow, they couldnʼt see the ground directly, which lowered their reaction time.

Seeing more and more stems appearing, Yin Zhen gathered his ena in his foot before releasing a crescent-shaped wave that sliced multiple thorns.

Unfortunately for him, it was only enough for eight thorns before the attack disappeared before it could cut the ninth stem.

Risa sent forth the blood tornado, but it resulted in the same thing. She managed to break several thorns, but she wasnʼt strong enough to reach the familiar.

She flew into the sky as if trying to free herself from the thorns and wanted to approach her from the sky.

However, the stems suddenly rose in height, as if trying to reach her.

Risa had two options. She could fly a bit higher or dive. The former would result in a much more freezing temperature, and it wasnʼt like she knew whether she could fly higher than the stem could reach or not. The latter would be risky, but she could outrun her opponent.

As a result, Risa chose the second one. She dove with her fastest speed while gathering her ena on her hands.

To her surprise, the thorns suddenly grew so large that it almost impaled her.

”!!!” Risa widened her eyes in shock. She flew around to avoid the thorns, but there were simply too many stems. All of those thorns grew at the same time, which created almost no room for her to maneuver.

As a result, one of them impaled her left wing.

”Aaaahhhh!” Risa screamed as the thorn grew large enough to plant her on one of the stems. After that, smaller vine-like stems emerged and tied her to that stem. And all of these smaller stems still had thorns, which meant piercing her in more than a hundred areas. ”Aaahhhh!”

Yin Zhen wanted to help her, but he couldnʼt get close. In fact, a thorn suddenly appeared behind him, which threw him off guard.

Yin Zhen wanted to avoid it by throwing his body to the side, but the thorn from that stem grew and impaled his stomach.

”Gah.” Yin Zhen spat out a mouthful of blood.

On the other side, Brunhild moved forward and thrust her spear.

The one-eyed ogre was using a long curved blade. When he saw that thrust, the ogre simply swung his blade right at the blade.

Brunhildʼs eyes flashed as she sped up at the last moment, avoiding that swing. She lowered her body and slashed the ogreʼs right side.

In the end, she was one of the strongest Valkyrie. Even though her power was weaker, her martial arts were still at the peak.

Unfortunately, this was not a battle of pure martial arts.

As if he had seen through that slash, the ogre had actually turned around.

”Oh my.” Brunhild turned her head around, finding the ogreʼs fist was already right in front of her.

She raised her spear and blocked it, but a single punch from him actually pinned her to the ground and turned the area within 10 meters (33 feet) radius into a crater.

But to the ogreʼs surprise, Brunhild in front of him actually became Asmodeus. No. It might be Asmodeus from the start.

Asmodeus blocked it, not with the spear but with both arms that ended up breaking after taking that attack. Even so, his fingers could still move as he joined the index finger and middle finger together. ”Gehenna.”

A black magic circle appeared under him as a black light illuminated the area, burning the ogre.

”Raaaa!” The ogre just roared and endured that pain, ready to chop Asmodeus down.

”Haiz. Iʼm more of a strategist and magician than bait, but…” Asmodeus smiled.

The real Brunhild had turned back from Asmodeusʼ power and stabbed the ogre from behind. Her power was much stronger compared to last time as she managed to pierce through the ogreʼs stomach.

However, they soon realized this was a mistake.

Now that both of them were already in his range, the ogre grabbed both Asmodeus and Brunhild as if he was going to crush them.

On the other side, the lamia wanted to overpower the deer-person, but even with all her weight, the deer-person only withstood her glaive with his large antler without even flinching.

As a result, the squirrel girl moved in, using her speed to stab the deer-person, but surprisingly, the latter actually caught both of her hands and broke her wrists.

”Kh.” The squirrel girl endured the pain, but the enemy threw her right at the lamiaʼs face. The lamia was forced to catch her, which allowed the enemy to twist its head and tossed her to the side, her body hitting the butterfly.

The beetle couldnʼt do anything. After all, she was in charge of their protection. But the enemy didnʼt do anything special, which meant she couldnʼt really block all those attacks with her superior defense. It was as if the deer-person was just toying with them.

Alavenya and the fourth familiar punched each other fist. Alavenya was losing even with the Dragon Fist, so she resorted to the Soaring Step, but for some reason, her enemy could keep track of her.

If there was anyone in a better situation, it would be her because this was Kanaʼs weakest familiar.

Even then, it was still at least three or four times stronger than her. Even with the Soaring Step, it wouldnʼt be enough for her to escape from his grasp.

More importantly, Nathan was about to go down.

”Ha… Ha…” Nathan was clutching his stomach, his vision was already blurry. He looked at Daniel, who was standing in front of him. With him lying on the ground, Daniel only needed one more punch to actually knock him out.

”Youʼve already lost. This is the price of your arrogance.” Daniel gathered his strength in his fist, planning to end it. Nathan managed to give some damage, but Daniel was strong enough to ignore them. The minotaur was still breaking free after being frozen.

But this was the end of the battle.

Seeing Daniel was about to punch him, Nathan smiled.

”I have… waited long enough.”
