Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 483: Nathanʼs Letter

Frexia Academy.

It took Nathan several minutes to find Noelle and write down the letter to Flora. It was a pretty long letter, so it took him a bit more time.

Finally, thirty minutes after the discussion of the design, Noelle had reached the student council office, finding Flora was still writing down several things. Her head almost dropped a few times as if she almost fell asleep.

However, she became completely awake the moment the door was opened, thinking it was Nathan.

”Noelle?” Flora raised her eyebrows.

”Yeah. Iʼve come back. Not for long, though. Nathan has asked me to give this letter to you.”

”What? Give it to me.” Flora became excited and hurriedly snatched the letter.

ʼThanks to Professor Melissa, my masterʼs acquaintance, I managed to think of a certain concept for the cloud-repelling device. It was not complex, and Professor Melissa helped with the design that allowed for quick completion and mass production.

ʼThis device will require 1,500 ena. Because the charging will be hard, my master has decided to solely focus on charging it in our place for the time being. If possible, she wants to expand it so that at least one kingdom will have one. I want to make it so that every major city has it, but itʼs too ambitious for the moment.

ʼAnyway, we have tested it. The device will create a hole in the ash cloud with an 87-meter (285-foot) radius and last for about 7 to 8 hours, according to our prediction. Further testing is required, but it shouldnʼt deviate too much from the prediction.

ʼIf we set up a huge farmland in the area that is close to each other, we can actually farm from morning to evening like a normal farming time to get the sunlight.

ʼThe nutrients within the soil can be replenished with the organic material from the ash. All you need to do is prepare for water that is not contaminated by ash and familiars who can boost the growth speed of plants.

ʼThe details of those will be sent later after further testing, but the concept itself is established. We are working with the Blacksmith Guild, specifically Augustʼs father, the guild leader himself, so manufacturing and mass production shouldnʼt be a big problem.

ʼAccording to our prediction, two or three days should be enough to get the final product, and weʼll immediately begin mass production.

ʼStill, I donʼt know how much we can produce, including the number of summoners. Hence, the front line will collapse sooner or later, even with all this effort.

ʼI predict that the aliens will be pushing us back, so we should reposition the troops to create a much firmer front line. Also, buy us enough time. The Fairy Queen Charlotte has been summoned and will take over the magic weapon project, so both of them can proceed at the same time. Weʼll supply the magic weapons to the front line, and you donʼt have to pay the royalties due to the current situation.

ʼOf course, I might know a bit of military tactics, but Iʼm not a military general or a war expert. I can only ask for them to review the position and match the movements with other fronts.

ʼHence, we have five requests. First, please inform this to the kingdom as well as other kingdoms, because weʼll also distribute the cloud-repelling device to other kingdoms. After all, if their side collapses, we will end up facing enemies from multiple directions. We canʼt fight the aliens alone.

ʼThe second request is to get some materials for the device. I will be sending the required materials once the design and prototype have been established. The Blacksmith Guild is providing the materials, but it wonʼt last long.

ʼThe third request is to get some blacksmiths over here. Even with the Blacksmith Guild, I donʼt think we will have enough people for all these projects. And since it is a new place, we need to create the workshop in a hurry as well, so send architects and some workers.

ʼThe fourth request is to get the cores. As I mentioned previously, the device will need 1,500 ena every time it shoots. Even though we donʼt ask for royalties anymore, please fund this project.

ʼLast but not least, the law and regulations for this device as well as the demonstrations. In the end, the nobles will be the ones managing this device. Please do it in a way that can benefit as many people as possible. The collapse of society will bring more harm than good, especially if it is because of greed.ʼ

It was definitely a long letter. However, each paragraph allowed her to analyze everything systematically. In just a single read, she could understand the letter completely.

She couldnʼt help but leap out of joy and hug Noelle. ”People are going to be saved! Hahahahaha!”

”Flora?” Noelle was startled. She didnʼt know the content of the letter, so she didnʼt understand why Flora was this happy.

”Noelle…” Flora stopped for a second. ”I will give you a new task. I want you to show this letter to the palace. I will give you the blue seal instead of the red seal, which means this letter will take priority because it signifies the letter being something related to the kingdomʼs life and death.

”Give this to His Majesty directly. After that, I will give you some letters as well as a few names. They are the mayor and a few other staff to build this new place.

”With you personally coming to them, they will have no choice but to follow you. If they refuse to meet you, drag them out.

”Last but not least, go to Eyesia Village. Bring Nathanʼs parents to safety. If possible, just bring them to this new place. Make sure you protect them well.”

Noelle nodded furiously. ”I understand. The fact that she mentioned the blue kingdom seal meant it was an order of the highest priority.”

Little did they know, the last order was unnecessary.
