Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 494: Infiltration?

”What do you know about the Bloody Banquet? Did you participate in it?”

”Bloody Banquet? The Rising Star Banquet that was held 7 years ago was also the last Rising Star Banquet that was ever held. Due to the attack of a mysterious organization, the reputation of the banquet crumbled into pieces, killing a lot of rising stars on the continent.”

”Thatʼs all?” She gritted her teeth.

Nathan waved his hand, stopping her. ”He is not aware of it. The only thing he knows is the superficial information. If you donʼt believe, look at the scale.”

”!!!” Evelyn turned to the scale. As Nathan said, he didnʼt participate in it. If he had taken part in that massacre, the scale would have changed. ”…”

Nathan thought for a moment. ”We originally planned to send the woman to the other side, but should we change our plan? The fact that she was the kidnapper, she should know about the identities of the people she had kidnapped, right?”

Evelyn didnʼt think it was a bad idea. The world was in chaos. Sullivan and the others wouldnʼt really care about this Divine Hand Organization. It would be better if they were the ones focused on this matter.

If they got the names, they could just give it to them and let them handle the rest.

The one who answered that question was not someone from the Sleeping Garden. It was Jisawn. In the end, Nathan asked that question out loud, which meant he also heard that question, forcing him to answer.

”She loves toying with her targets. She will probably know them.”

Nathan looked at Evelyn before shrugging.

Evelyn contemplated for a few seconds. ”Letʼs do it. Weʼll interrogate all three of them.”

”Got it.” Nathan nodded with a serious expression. He raised a finger. ”In that case, tell us your hideoutʼs location.”

Everyoneʼs expressions turned grim. Nathan didnʼt hold back anymore. The moment they heard their base, a raid would definitely come.

”West of Lidea Forest, a small abandoned building near the river. Underneath that building.”

”!!!” Evelyn nodded to the others, thinking they would definitely attack this place.

On the other hand, Nathan asked several small questions. ”Is that your current hideout? Or is it your previous hideout? Do you have multiple bases?”

Jisawn gritted his teeth, but he couldnʼt refuse to answer. ”Yes, no, yes.”

Nathan scratched the back of his head. Even Evelyn could see the meaning behind those answers.

”They might have changed their hideout?” Evelyn crossed his arms.

”Most likely. If they know we have captured these three, they will definitely change places, believing that their location has been exposed. As a result, they will move their location to a place that even these three donʼt know about.”

”We canʼt raid them then?” Evelyn pinched the bridge of her nose, thinking this was just wasting their time.

”Not necessarily.” Nathan changed his question. ”Do you have any ways to lure the other six hands? Their information? Secret? Behaviors?”

Jisawn clenched his fists but continued running his mouth. ”Devia is controlling the brothel, and she is often coming out and managing the brothel personally. Iskarʼs action is unpredictable, but he will go out if thereʼs something interesting happening.

”Eyewood and Lucas are mostly staying inside the base, but they do come out every once in a while to restock some supplies for their abilities.”

Nathan thought for a moment. ”Is Tuska a shut-in? Heʼs not going anywhere?”

”Yes. I have never heard of him leaving. Even moving to another base is handled by Lucasʼ teleportation.”

”In that case, does Sandra leave occasionally?”

”No.”

Nathan tapped the table a few times before saying, ”I guess we should give up on these two. Iskar Haygaiden might come out, but thereʼs no guarantee he will be outside because of what happens.

”We donʼt know the schedule for Lucas Raxi and Eyewood, so we need to find out more information, especially their schedule.

”However, I think we can capture Devia. What do you think?” Nathan asked.

Evelyn tilted her head in confusion. ”What is your plan?”

”Hmm. I have two. You or Bella can come with me to this so-called brothel. Or I can go with Revon?”

”…” Evelynʼs eyebrows twitched. ”Are you going to make us wear those revealing dresses and act like a prostitute?”

”Thatʼs one way, but Iʼm thinking about going to the inn next to the brothel instead. Itʼs a red-light district, so there are definitely a few inns around there. If we go through the main entrance, she might realize it and immediately come for us.

”On the other hand, we canʼt simply teleport inside without confirming her existence. Hence, itʼs better to use that inn to infiltrate the brothel and make sure of everything first. Of course, we need to find out where she is right now.

”Considering he worked with her for the information, she would definitely use the brothel to entrance merchants or other people to give away that information. Hence, we need to send several people to go to the brothel themselves.

”Weʼll have to check on every location and test which brothel is trying to pry our information as much as possible. That must be the main brothel she uses the most.

”Well, if I go with Revon, this will be the main plan.” Nathan thought for a moment. ”Never mind. Iʼm not going to do it. I am a loyal man. I wonʼt play with prostitutes, even though this is just a mission.”

Evelyn furrowed her eyebrows. She didnʼt know whether Nathan said those words because it was his sincere feeling or because he held a grudge against her.

If it was the latter, it was akin to him saying he would only participate in the first one where it was clearly beneficial for him.

Evelyn had to choose which plans they should go for if they wanted to capture Devia.

”Should I—” Bella opened her mouth, volunteering. If it was infiltration, she would be the best candidate.

However, Evelyn immediately stopped her and asked, ”Thereʼs no need to raid the brothel and get her. While itʼs true that she is the one operating the information network, if we attack them once more, it will be hard to do anything to them anytime soon. Hence, we should wait and attack all of them at the same time once we have more information, especially their baseʼs location. What do you think?”
