Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 501: Four Sovereignsʼ Decision

Two days after the eruption, the four sovereigns finally met each other again.

Obviously, the one who held it was the Pope. Just like Julius, who received the news through Flora, the Pope had also received some information from Sera.

”What are we going to do with this?” Liaystian Kingdomʼs Sovereign, Robert, asked.

”Thatʼs right. We need to make a decision fast. We donʼt have time to deal with a lengthy conversation.” Balzak nodded in agreement.

The Pope waved his hand. ”We have gotten some solutions right now.”

Julius acknowledged it. ”I will bring you the good news first. There are three pieces of good news. First of all, we have solved the food supply problem. Although itʼs not perfect, it wonʼt be a big problem anymore.

”Our people have been working with the Blacksmith Guild and the others to work on a cloud-repelling device, allowing us to create a big hole in the sky that will allow the sunlight to reach the ground. This way, we can utilize the summoners to speed up the farming process, which will yield enough food for the time being. Of course, this wonʼt be enough for everyone, but the current situation doesnʼt allow us to save everyone. The rest of the instruction has been compiled in this document here.

”All you need to do is distribute it in your kingdom.” Julius gave them the documents.

They skimmed the documents. Robert couldnʼt help but feel jealous, wondering why Nathan wasnʼt born in their kingdom. If he hailed from the Liaystian Kingdom, he would have given a princess or two.

The Beast King nodded. ”I donʼt have a problem with this proposal. With this, I know how to proceed with the current rising tension.”

”Yes. The second good news is that the magic weapons will be distributed as well. This is the document.” Julius handed the second document.

The others were curious, never thinking that the situation had been improved tremendously from the two news alone.

However, Robert couldnʼt help but notice one thing. ”Wait a minute. The Azilia Kingdom will receive it first? Their priority is above even the Holy Kingdom?”

With a smug smile on his face, Julius shrugged. ”Itʼs not my will. Iʼm merely informing you as it is. Hohoho…”

Robertʼs eyebrows twitched. ”What? Pope Frank. Are you sure youʼre alright with this?”

”Yeah.” The Pope nodded. ”I donʼt mind. In fact, we havenʼt even sent our blacksmiths due to the current chaos, so itʼs fair enough for them to think that way. Besides, theyʼre handing it away every day, so itʼs not that much of a problem in the long run. Instead of focusing on the order, I believe we have to focus on the charging station instead, since this will be like the heart of both the cloud-repelling device and the magic weapons.”

”…” Balzak maintained his silence this time, realizing that the pope was correct.

”The last good news is that we have found out the terrorists. This terrorist organization is not targeting only the Azilia Kingdom, but all of us.” Julius gave them the third document.

It contained the purpose of the Divine Hand Organization, including the leader of the organization.

Several pieces of information were still hidden from them, but they got a grasp of the main purpose of this organization.

”Why do you care about these clowns? They think theyʼre something when they will end up dying to the aliens after destroying us. Still, having to worry about your back is not something I like…” Robert crossed his arms.

”Yes. I have created a group of scientists that will take care of the aliens inside their bodies. And weʼve succeeded. The medicine to dissolve those aliens will be soon mass-produced. I hope we can work together to eliminate the threat together.

”As for the organization itself, Iʼve received the information that theyʼre planning to lie low right now, so itʼs going to be hard to track them. Besides, we have to focus on the outside threat for the time being, so I will just let someone else take care of that organization,” Julius explained.

Balzak frowned. ”I donʼt really mind cooperating. There are two academies in my kingdom. I will contact their deans for it. However, if they end up attacking us during this period, I will handle them personally. Is that clear, King Julius?”

”Be my guest.”

The Pope nodded. ”Alright. This is enough. Letʼs talk about the bad news.”

The Pope waved his hand, sending another document. It contained all the suspicions about the aliens, including the increase of their number.

”So, Elysionʼs warning is based on this suspicion? No. This suspicion explains his warning. His warning comes from his eyes anyway.” Balzak thought for a moment. ”What are you planning to do then? The Holy Kingdom will remain as the vanguard, so Iʼll follow your decision.”

The Pope nodded. ”For the time being, itʼs impossible for us to move the capital cities in a short period. It will also create a lot of other problems, especially since the people will doubt the authority of the central government and result in a rebellion.

”Hence, we will focus on the last defense line for the time being and just focus our force over there. This means the complete evacuation of the southern territory.

”Each kingdom will have to maintain their supply route by themselves and ensure that the last defense line doesnʼt collapse, especially from the inside threat.

”The capital city might be moved, but it will be at least 6 months in the future… after the people get accustomed to living underneath the dark ash cloud.

”This will stop any rebellion, and the movements will be much faster and smoother.

”Weʼll send our scouts deep into the alien territory and check the number of aliens. If itʼs like stated there, weʼll begin the creation of a great wall by taking advantage of natural terrain, creating a last defense line for mankind.

”Unfortunately, thereʼs no detailed plan yet. So, I want all of you to bring out a plan as well, and weʼll discuss it at a later date.”
