Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 191 Resource Allocation NegotiationAfter arranging for Ah-Dai to sleep and guard at the core of the secret realm, Russell and the others packed their bags and quickly returned along the original road.

Due to the contract with the Rainbow Ant Queen, they traveled smoothly without encountering any obstacles.

After about half a day, the group arrived at the entrance to the secret realm.

After a few days of recovery, the yellow-green space rift has reappeared.

Through the rotating space energy, Russell could see that the door was filled with equipment and instruments from the Beast Control Alliance, as well as the waiting staff on duty.

”Huh... After fighting the pet beast, we have to fight with people next.”

However, he didn’t feel too happy when he saw the league’s official battle.

It was okay to rely on the business of the Royal Insect House to provide Russell with his personal cultivation needs, but if he wanted to do more, it was obviously beyond his capabilities.

Whether you are trying to restore the ancient form of insect beasts or gradually improve the entire insect industry, you must have a larger platform and massive resources.

Therefore, the next negotiation with the Beast Control Alliance will be a crucial opportunity in his time travel career.

After all, according to convention and the laws of the beast-controlling world, the ownership of such resources belongs to the alliance official.

Although General Mo Lin once promised Russell joint development rights in public, the specific amount and extent of sharing was not clearly stated.

If you want to get the maximum benefit, you definitely can’t just follow the official arrangements of the alliance.

On the way back, Russell kept thinking about what information he had, or what unique and irreplaceable information he had.

Events such as the tenth-level pet beasts’ attack on the secret realm and the Moon Demon Rabbit’s ambush of the Shadow Cult that I heard before are all valuable and key information.

But the Rainbow Ant Queen used telepathy to tell everyone these things. The Beast Control Alliance may remember him for this, but it can no longer be used as a bargaining chip.

Currently, Russell’s biggest reliance is the space hub given to him by the Rainbow Bee Queen before her spiritual body disappeared.

High-level items like this, which are condensed from the essence of pet beasts and have been continuously passed down, can be directly stored in the beast control space.

As long as Russell lets go, no one can force him to directly hand over control of the secret realm.

Before Russell did not use the space hub to modify the permissions, the conditions for entering the secret realm remained unchanged. Only middle- and low-level insect masters of the insect system could enter smoothly.

As a result, both subsequent development and research will be greatly hindered.

Of course, now that the secret realm has been completely cracked and there is no threat from the Fire Stealing Group, the Beast Control Alliance can choose not to cooperate with itself, but instead find a lot of space masters to slowly transfer control.

However, as the current controller of the secret realm, Russell can cause damage at any time in the process.

As long as he doesn’t cause trouble, the alliance will definitely not be too tough.

After all, alliances are also made up of people. If the right to cooperate is not given to Russell, it will be shared by all kinds of companies and organizations. It cannot really be in the hands of one or two people.

What’s more, there are more than one secret realm in the world. If the number one hero who cracked the secret realm is really kicked out, it will not be a proper act of stealing the fire group. Who will be willing to work for the alliance in the future?

Therefore, there is definitely no problem in talking about cooperation. The problem lies in whether the alliance will give more or less benefits.

Russell is not a greedy person. Rather than working hard to run huge industries and organizations, he prefers a relaxed life with no worries about food and clothing.

According to his expectations, he could get about % of the resources, be eligible to participate in subsequent development, and have the exclusive right to cultivate the crystallized ants.

If you use the secret realm control to control these things, the probability of obtaining them is still relatively high.

Although it is impossible for Russell to directly lock the secret realm door to prevent the alliance from entering, secret realm development is a long-term task, and resetting the position of the secret realm gate is particularly important.

Theoretically, as long as you control a certain space, the location of the entrance can be changed multiple times, but this kind of operation involving reshaping the gaps in the space is not as simple as repairing a large iron door.

Every time the entrance position is reset, a lot of manpower and material resources are consumed, and it usually has to be done at once.

Moreover, the feedback Russell received from using his mental power to touch the space hub was that the ecology in the Crystal Garden had high requirements for energy storage, so multiple space entrances were not allowed to be opened.

If there was only one secret realm gate, according to his opinion, it would be best to open it directly near the Chongwu House.

However, Russell himself also knew that such a request would 100% be rejected.

After all, Senluo City is just a second-level city that is not very developed. For the development of large-scale secret realms, many supporting resources cannot keep up with the requirements.

Even if Longquan City, the capital of the principality, is too far away to set up an entrance, there is still a first-class city, Huaguan City, near the Black Dew Forest.

As long as Russell relents and tells the reset scope of the secret realm entrance, they will definitely strive to fight for the leading development rights of the secret realm from the alliance headquarters.

”How about I just say that the entrance cannot be reset...?”

After thinking for a while, Russell finally decided to tell the Beast Control Alliance directly that the secret space was damaged, the cost of resetting the entrance was extremely high, and there was a risk of space collapse.

In this way, all parties cannot directly use existing resources to directly radiate into the secret realm. Instead, they can only send out troops to open up this area from scratch.

Senluo City, which is geographically closest to the area where the secret realm is located, can naturally take advantage of it.

Anyway, in the end, they have to cooperate with the beast control alliance in a certain area, and Russell will definitely prefer his hometown.

After all, he was so familiar with Dr. Xia Mu, the local gym leader Ye Qingyu, and the officers stationed in the legion.

Judging from daily interactions, these people don’t seem to be the kind of people who are only interested in profit and like to deceive people.

In addition, Yuchongwu now has a special cooperation with Feiyi Shipping. As long as the transportation airport is built, Russell will have the priority to use one-half of the inter-regional shipping lines in Senluo City.

Faced with such a local genius who has strength, industry, and control over the secret realm, as long as the official personnel of the Senluo City Alliance are not fools, they will definitely choose to attract them instead of excluding them.

As long as Senluo City can gain a foothold in the pioneering action, whoever wants to get a share of the pie will have to be sincere.

After all, the beast-control society established with high-level beast masters as its core has a complete set of laws to protect people’s daily lives, but when it comes to the fight for core resources, the essence is still with fists.

People have already laid out the building complex and established a defensive offensive site. Unless it is the alliance headquarters with crushing strength, other first- and second-level cities nearby can only speak politely.

Secondly, there is the allocation of resources in the secret realm.

As the saying goes, the more you get, the greater your responsibility. Now that the Crystal Garden is in a semi-abandoned state, subsequent reconstruction will inevitably require a huge amount of resources to be poured into it.Therefore, the Beast Taming Alliance will undoubtedly take the lion’s share of the existing cultivation resources in the secret realm, and Russell doesn’t have any objections to this.

Anyway, his bottom line is that % will be used as business funds for the insect house. In addition, the share used for the growth of his own pet beasts must be provided in an unlimited amount.

…………

After crossing the gate of the secret realm and reappearing in the swamp of the Black Dew Forest, the team immediately attracted the attention of everyone around them.

”This young beast master from Senluo City is really not easy. He actually cracked the copy in one go without even going back and forth...”

”Isn’t that the Gu Insect Master sister and brother who were wanted before? Why are they following the Alliance team?”

”Looking at the other teammates, they seem to be convinced by this Russell...? Is this person so strong?”

On the way to the camp command post, Russell answered the routine inquiries from the personnel on duty while listening to the ongoing discussions around him.

Most of them were amazed and envious, but there were also unconvincing words.

The reason why those people were unconvinced was that they thought that the threshold for entering the Secret Trial Realm of the Insect Trial was to choose a general among the dwarves, which was why he missed it.

If there were no restrictions on attributes, and all mid-level beastmasters could enter, how could it be possible for someone with only one gym badge, and all the pet beasts to be half-assed at the insect type?

Jiang Xue and Chen Yuan were a little dissatisfied with these words, but Russell went in one ear and out the other.

After all, there is a crystal-level pet beast egg lying in his beast-controlling space. The layout needs to be opened up a little, and there is no need to be like a passerby.

In order to prevent the fire thieves from sneaking in secretly, the area of the camp is not large, and the tents and temporary houses are also densely distributed.

In just a few minutes, Russell and the others arrived at the command post located at the highest point of the camp.

After receiving the news that the exploration team was returning, General Mo Lin and a group of high-level alliance personnel who Russell didn’t know very well had been waiting in the conference room.

Among them, naturally included Yan Songbai, the garrison commander of Senluo City, and Dr. Xia Mu, the chief researcher.

As a pure auxiliary beast master with light combat tasks, one of Jiang Xue’s main jobs is to be responsible for recording.

She wrote a report on all actions in the secret realm early and sent it to the alliance executives guarding the camp as soon as she came out.

Judging from the fact that the bosses are not in a hurry to ask questions, they should already know the general situation and results of this operation.

After a brief silence, before General Mo Lin spoke, several other middle-aged people who seemed to be slightly lower than him took the lead in starting the conversation:
”Congratulations, and a warm welcome back to our heroic team!”

”I heard that your Insect Whisperer talent can directly communicate with eighth-level ancient beasts. Are you interested in working at the research institute in Longquan City? You will be directly promoted to a full-time position, and you will be hired as a deputy director!”

”It is true that heroes emerge from youth. I propose that Russell, who has contributed the most to this operation, be directly promoted to the top 16 as a seed player in the competitive competition!”

These league veterans from different districts seemed particularly enthusiastic and seemed to have great admiration for Russell, but the content of their words almost made him roll his eyes.

What kind of words is this to deceive a fool?
A capable beast master can still qualify for the competition without being recommended, and advance all the way, just by playing a few more games.

If you don’t have the strength, what if you advance directly to the knockout rounds after the group stage?Wasn’t he killed by someone else’s move?
As for the job opportunities at the alliance headquarters... Our insect industry is doing well, who is short of the salary of three melons and two dates?
Taking these so-called ”benefits” as an example, they obviously think that Russell is still a young boy, and they can get away with a lot of real money if they just coax him.

”Thank you for your kindness, but I can win the competition on my own, and I have no intention of applying for a job at the league’s official organization for the time being.”

Sitting down at the end of the conference table, Russell looked around with a smile, and then answered in a neither humble nor condescending manner.

Then, he turned his attention to General Mo Lin, who was sitting in the highest seat, and asked seriously:
”Can we start reporting on the exploration of the secret realm and then discuss the distribution plan?”

Seeing that Russell was too shrewd to be impressed by a few words, the top leaders of the alliance also turned cold and looked at him with amusement, just waiting to hear what requests he made.

Hearing this, General Mo Lin nodded and signaled Russell to speak directly.

”First, this secret realm space was damaged by the attack of the tenth-level pet beast. The entrance to the secret realm cannot be reset. If you want to develop the secret realm, you can only expand the city area to this area. The straight line distance from the surrounding city Lisenluo City is the closest , I suggest that Senluo City take the lead in the development task.”

”Second, the Imperial Insect House will contract the exclusive right to cultivate crystal ants, but I will provide them free of charge for the parts needed for the alliance’s official research.”

”Third, I will take % of the resources in the secret realm. If there is any gap in the subsequent cultivation of my contracted beasts, I can use the resources without limit on my own use.”

After receiving General Mo Lin’s permission, Russell also generously stated the three requirements he summarized.

After hearing these words, the scene became a little quiet.

Obviously, most league executives present felt that Russell’s request was a bit excessive.

After all, according to his allocation, except for the alliance headquarters in Longquan City, which can obtain a large amount of resources and can share the research results of other cities by default in the future, other cities and organizations will basically not gain much benefit.

The pet beasts were exclusively bred by Russell, and the development was handed over to his hometown of Senluo City. After such operations, the forces represented by % of the people here were eliminated.

”With Senluo City’s scientific research capabilities and city defense forces, I’m afraid we can’t support this show...”

”Brother Russell, I know that your pet shop has been developing well recently, but crystal ants are nothing like giant silkworms... The business is too big, I’m afraid you won’t be able to grasp it.”

Sure enough, after a short period of silence, the top leaders of the various leagues whose interests had been offended jumped out to express their opposition.

Although Yan Songbai and Dr. Xia Mu also have a tough attitude, the innate conditions of the second-tier city Senluo City are indeed not outstanding, and now they have become the target of public criticism, and their momentum has inevitably been suppressed.

After all, the thoughts of these league leaders are not difficult to understand.

In their eyes, although Russell was the main force who directly cracked the secret realm, without the help of a large group of alliance personnel, he would not have had a chance to enter the secret realm.

He is just a high-level part-time worker, but now he has climbed up the ladder and has elevated himself to a position similar to that of a veteran of the city alliance, and he is still asking for an exorbitant price. It is really disrespectful.

Judging from their intentions, they probably only planned to give some marginal benefits from the beginning. Whether it was development rights or the ownership of the crystal ant clan, they had no intention of distributing it to Russell.

However, Russell had already anticipated this situation and had prepared a response in advance.

Amid the buzzing discussion, he cleared his throat, stood up, and asked the most important question loudly:
”You think that the Imperial Chongwu is not capable of cultivating the crystal ant industry...then how sure are you?

”How much information do you have on this kind of pet beast? Can you guarantee that the ancient race that is about to wither will be able to breed normally? Anyway, the competition is fair, let’s talk about it.” (End of Chapter)
