Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 166 3th Rank LordChapter 166 Third Level Lord
After integrating the three skills and understanding the Netherworld realm, Ayou’s evolution has come to an end.

From the third level to the fourth level, in addition to the improvement in strength, the biggest gain is appearance.

After learning the controllable spirit transformation skill, Ayou can indeed change the degree of his spirit transformation at any time.

But that is a major physical change after all, and it is unrealistic to completely switch from zero to 100%. Even if it intentionally suppresses the spirit state, the minimum level will be around %.

In addition to the changes in combat attributes, Ayou’s image has also become more mysterious and elegant.

Seen from a distance, its wings look like two balls of gray phosphorus fire, with a little bit of gray smoke when they flap. They are already % similar to the underworld moth that quietly knocked down a hunting team in the video.

woohoo...

”I feel much stronger. If I encounter that black shadow again, I can blow it away!”

After absorbing all the energy escaping from the black silkworm cocoon, Ayou immediately shouted that he wanted to compete with the shadow of death again.

It can be seen that it cares deeply about the helpless feeling when facing the shadow of death.

”Okay, I’ll talk about it later, let’s get down to business first!”

Russell unceremoniously interrupted Ayou’s call and took it to the No. breeding ground.

Before finding a target to practice with, the first thing Ayou had to do was to conquer those iron chrysalis silkworms that it could not control smoothly at the third level.

call……

”Small, look at me!”

Due to the good experience he had with Iron Chrysalis silkworms last time, Ayou, whose strength has improved a lot, seems very confident.

After arriving at the No. Breeding Ground, it immediately turned on its shadow form and appeared in front of the Iron Chrysalis Silkworm in its strongest state of strength.

Although Ayou now looks more like a ghost creature, its ability to spread pheromones through scale powder is still proficient.

Sure enough, facing Ayou, whose energy level was close to the mid-fourth level in the explosive state, and whose bloodline level was close to the platinum level, Iron Chrysalis Silkworm’s attitude suddenly changed.

After a few waves of scale powder were sprinkled, even if these pet beasts were not the same kind of black-ringed silkworms, they were still fascinated and submissive.

It didn’t take long for Russell to receive waves of surrender messages from the tribe through his ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent.

Due to the huge demand for goods from the Flying Wing Shipping Company, even though Russell repeatedly said that the Royal Insect House’s boutique route could not domesticate many at one time, they still sent thousands or hundreds of iron chrysalis silkworm larvae.

After conquering these younger brothers at once, Ayou’s lord status successfully reached the third level.

”Lord’s posture:
The third-level permission has been unlocked, the shared evolution halo has been turned on, and the growth rate of the group has increased by 25%.
Secondary command authority: 3/10
Similar racial influence: Unlock the influence of the same type of race, with an effect range of 75%
Clan energy feedback: 0.1%
Source of evolution accumulation: 30 points

Advanced conditions: The number of surrenders from the same clan reaches 3577/50000.”

It can be seen from the information transmitted from the beast control space that compared with the authority of the second-level lord, the abilities of the third-level lord are significantly higher.

Not only did the growth rate of the group increase by %, the number of secondary leaders more than tripled, and the influence of similar pet beasts also increased significantly.

What’s more important is that the third-level lord’s posture actually unlocks a powerful ability that can receive feedback from the group’s energy.

Although this ratio of % seems to be extremely low, but combined with the number of insect-type pet beasts, the increase is actually quite considerable.

Take the three thousand animals of the same species that Ayou currently controls. If multiplied by one thousandth, the whole number will still be three.

This means that as long as the number of the group does not decline, it can receive feedback equivalent to the natural growth of two or three low-level pet beasts every day.

Even if the growth rate of these low-level pet beasts is much slower than Ayou itself, this ratio has to be converted again, which is at least equivalent to increasing its natural growth rate by to %.

You know, as the pet beast’s life energy level increases, subsequent growth will only become more and more difficult.

Countless beast masters who lack resources, lack talents, and do not have good beast bloodline are stuck at the intermediate threshold level.

Even if they meet these three conditions, if they want to reach the fifth or sixth level, many people have to continue to cultivate until middle age like Tu Tiezhu, a small city defense officer.

As for the truly talented young men like Ji Yunchuan and Luo Tianyan, in addition to their outstanding talents, they are basically the second generation of wealthy royal families, or they have had an unexpected encounter and contracted excellent pet beast cubs early on.

Although they look like they are only in their twenties, they have been cultivated since they were babies. In fact, the main pet beasts have been cultivated for more than ten years.

For Russell, who only entered the world of beast masters in his teens and became a professional beast master, it does take considerable effort to catch up with the gap.

The feedback effect of the tribe provided by Lord’s Posture can be said to perfectly solve this problem.

This gap accumulated over time, and it was of great significance to Ayou’s ability to achieve high-level strength, giving him the opportunity to stand on the stage of a high-level beast master before he was born.

”It seems that we can’t just use the Lord’s Pose as a large-scale evolutionary halo. The mantis and cloakworm races must also be arranged...”

After reading the information about Lord’s Presence being promoted to the third level, Russell was not only happy but also had a minor worry.

Originally, his biggest motivation for helping Ayou unlock the status of a lord was mainly to unlock the secondary leadership function and ensure that the main source of income of the Chongwu House was always evolving.

But now that it is discovered that the lord’s posture is also of great benefit in improving combat power, naturally he cannot just focus on Ayou and ignore other contracted beasts.

However, if you want to upgrade your status as a lord to at least the third level, you need to control a full three thousand tribesmen.

Fortunately for Xiao Qi, there are many species in the coir rainfly family tree that are valuable for domestication. The weaver insect customized by Flying Wing Shipping Company is its close relative, but the mantis family is a bit difficult to deal with.

They are unable to produce any insect products with economic value. If their strength is used as a selling point, the average silver bloodline level is not enough.

Moreover, the mantis family is almost all carnivorous beasts, and the cost of feeding them is several times higher than that of silkworms and cloakworms that can survive by chewing leaves.

Three thousand is not a small amount. If there is no economic benefit at all and it is purely dependent on the insect house, the expense will be too huge.

After all, natural growth is only one channel for pet animals to grow, and the energy supplement provided by feeding and breeding materials is also important.

Now that Ayou and Daolang have become mid-level pet beasts, selecting cultivation materials for them in the future will have to start at the mid-level. I am afraid that the cost for a month will be at least six figures.

If you tame thousands of unprofitable pet beasts just to unlock the status of a lord, and then affect the budget for purchasing breeding materials, then you are really putting the cart before the horse.

Regarding how to form Daolang to rule the clan, Russell could only take a long-term approach.

In addition, it was a small surprise to accumulate thirty points of evolutionary sources at once.

This also confirmed his previous thoughts: the stronger and higher the level of the beast under his control, the more sources of evolution it would provide. Before, Ayou controlled more than 1000 black-ringed silkworms and giant silkworms, and it took him only a month or two to accumulate dozens of evolutionary source points. Now, he had just conquered the silver-level iron chrysalis silkworms and got twenty points, among which The gap is not huge.

Moreover, the source of evolution accumulated during the first acquisition and daily growth is not as much as the source of evolution provided during transformation. When they break out of their cocoons, the source of evolution provided should be even more considerable.

After seeing the benefits of these lord advancements, Russell’s eyes moved to the conditions for unlocking the next level of lord authority.

In contrast to the huge improvement, the requirements for advancing the Lord’s posture have also increased more than ten times, soaring directly to .

”It seems that there is no need to think about the authority of the fourth-level lord in a short time...”

Seeing this condition, Russell complained speechlessly.

There are indeed a large number of insect-type beasts, but that is also compared to the beasts of other attributes.

The number can easily be tens of thousands, and they must be of similar races. For a group of extraordinary creatures like pet beasts, it is also a relatively large number.

What’s more, these pet beasts basically have to be contained within the confines of the Imperial Insect House...

After all, there are too many variables in the wild. If the pet beast that he finally cultivated was crazily hunted by a high-level natural enemy, or died in large numbers due to certain disasters and diseases, Russell would die of heartache.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but start to think that to upgrade from the fourth level to the fifth level, he wouldn’t need hundreds of thousands of clan beasts...

If this trend continues, if he wants to fully utilize the various abilities of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, Russell may not only be the king of insect beast masters, but also the master of the entire insect beast group.

Of course, the Imperial Insect House could barely gather three thousand members now, so Russell only briefly thought about the future, and then continued to work on the unfinished things at hand.

One is to let Xiao Qi officially become his contracted pet beast and enjoy the powerful nourishment of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent.

Since I have kept Xiao Qi by my side for so long and have developed a relationship, and even fought side by side, this process can be said to be quite smooth.

When Russell released the beast control contract, Xiao Qi did not make any resistance and entered his beast control space within a few seconds.

However, even after the contract, Russell did not ask Xiao Qi to stay in the beast control space for a long time, but continued to let it live in his pocket.

Since being attacked by the shadow priest, Russell is now surrounded by iron sand.

Keeping Xiao Qi and Iron Sand Bag in his pocket makes it easier for him to use his miracle slime skills, and also makes Russell feel safer when traveling alone.

Having formally contracted with Xiao Qi, and he was going to the Black Dew Forest to encircle and suppress the Pirate Fire Group in the near future, he planned to try to find out in the next few days whether there was a mucus shield auxiliary material that was more practical than iron sand.

As for Xiao Qi’s first tribe, Russell specially selected twenty weaver worm larvae that had just hatched.

chirp...

”What should I do to show my strength...?”

However, Xiao Qi, who has always been relatively introverted and autistic, doesn’t seem to know how to win the admiration of other pet beasts.

”Just use your best skills.”

Seeing Xiao Qi’s confused look, Russell gave it a little hint.

Hearing this, Xiao Qi thought for a moment, then stretched out his round little head from the dead leaf coir raincoat where he was hiding, and spat out a small amount of mucus into the incubation box specially designed to feed weaver worm larvae.

After all, the initial bloodline level of the dead leaf cloakworm has reached the platinum level, straddling two major levels, and the target of conquering it is a weak and helpless pet beast cub that has just been born, so it is naturally easy to capture it.

Not long after, Russell received the message from the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent:

”Your pet has been recognized by a similar race and has met the conditions to unlock and advance to the lord’s posture. Do you want to spend ten points of the source of evolution to unlock it?”

Ten points of the source of evolution can be exchanged for the status of the lord of the contract beast. This deal is quite cost-effective. Russell feels that any hesitation for a second is disrespectful to the cheat.

After stretching out the energy thread and delivering ten points of evolution sources to Xiao Qi, it not only successfully unlocked the lord’s posture, but also successfully grew its lord level to the second level.

Under the command of Russell, it ignorantly appointed three sub-commanders, and included the Weaver Insects in the No. breeding ground into the coverage of the evolutionary halo.

After finishing all these things, it was noon before he knew it. Russell yawned and ordered a sumptuous takeaway, planning to take a good nap after lunch.

But at this moment, his cell phone suddenly rang.

”Dr. Natsuki? Is the operation to encircle and suppress the pirate fire group about to begin?”

Seeing the name on the caller ID, Russell couldn’t help but feel nervous.

Although he hates the Fire Stealing Group very much, he has been busy with business or evolution recently, and there are still many preparations to participate in the operation.

If Russell were notified that he was about to leave, he would probably be stunned.

Fortunately, the preparation process for a large-scale encirclement and suppression operation is obviously not so fast.

On the phone, Dr. Xia Mu just conveyed to him the news from the alliance headquarters in Longquan City.

After a period of interrogation, the member of the Fire Thieves who had been captured by Turandot finally couldn’t bear it anymore and provided a lot of useful information to the alliance officials.

For example, they lurked near the Black Dew Forest for the secret realm several years ago.

For another example, that secret realm is indeed a trial secret realm where only insect-type pet beasts can fight.

It’s just that an organization like the Fire Stealing Group, which has almost no production and relies solely on deception and abduction, has almost no members who focus on the insect system, so it kidnaps insect-related beast masters everywhere in order to crack the secret realm as soon as possible.

As for the way to crack the secret realm, it seems that you need to bring insect beasts into the secret realm and defeat some strange beasts that have emerged from the fossils.

After hearing this, combined with the things he had encountered recently, Russell immediately understood what Dr. Natsuki meant.

Previously, although the Beast Control Alliance officials also valued his talent as an ”Insect Whisperer”, communication was at best a logistical aid and the risk was relatively low.

If you want to go deep into the secret realm in person, the nature will completely change.

It is true that the Fire Thief Group rarely engages in production and pays less attention to the insect system, but they have already begun such crazy things as kidnapping...

If they really couldn’t find an insect master who was willing to serve, the possibility was still very slim.

If the space in the secret realm is an entire space, and different beast masters can meet, a battle will inevitably occur, and the risks are self-evident.
