Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 151 Green Leaf Gym, cleared!Chapter 151 Green Leaf Gym, cleared!

”Lotte Sunflower, use Crazy Growth!”

Realizing that Lotte Sunflower’s remaining energy was less than %, and knowing that any further consumption would be tantamount to slow death and that even the last chance of a comeback would pass away, Ye Qingyu made a prompt decision and directed Lotte Sunflower to use the skill of pressing the bottom of the box.

Unlike the forest tree demon’s explosive and powerful attack skills, Lotte Sunflower’s trump card is a status-based skill.

Following Ye Qingyu’s command, it tried its best to stretch the two huge leaves that were equivalent to arms, and light green energy full of life began to flow through its body.

Supplemented by this energy, the originally shaky morning light shield around Lotte Himawari glowed brightly again.

Moreover, the bonuses brought by the ”Crazy Growth” skill are far more than that.

With the increase in green energy, not only did Lotte Sunflower’s body grow taller, but her breath also directly rose to the level of the early fourth level.

This level of increase can fully deserve the reputation of the gym’s pet beast’s unique move.

Even though he was mentally prepared for the unique tricks that every gym beast would master, Russell still secretly worried about Ayou when faced with Lotte Himawari, whose combat power had soared.

You know, the energy density gap from the late third order to the fourth order is much larger than that from the middle third order to the late third order.

Even though this improvement based on skills is only temporary and cannot allow Lotte Himawari to truly grow into a fourth-level pet beast in all aspects, it has at least doubled its attack power alone.

Of course, the crazy growth skill is not completely without side effects.

Just activating this skill consumes a lot of energy, and the consumption of other skills will also increase significantly in the process of maintaining the skill.

From this perspective, it is similar to the shadow form.

However, the shadow form not only enhances the offensive and defensive attributes and energy intensity, but also increases the special effects of ghost skills. Overall, it is better.

whee--!
After releasing the crazy growth skill, Lotte Sunflower immediately shook its smiling face and gathered a ball of light towards Ayou that was far more powerful than all the solar cannons just now.

The reason for launching such an eager attack is not to say that Ye Qingyu feels that she has a chance to win, but mainly because there is really not much time left for her and Lotte Sunflower.

Since the primary night field has almost cut off the light source in the battle field, the light energy Lotte Sunflower cannot absorb from the outside world is now consuming its own stored energy.

In the previous war of attrition, Lotte Sunflower, which was beaten unilaterally, suffered a loss. When it was forced to break out at a disadvantage, it was basically a sinking ship.

In its current state, after using Crazy Growth, it can only launch another wave of attacks.

This is due to the fact that crazy growth is a plant skill, not a light skill, otherwise it may not be possible in this dim environment.

However, in the burst state, Lotte Sunflower uses not the powerful solar cannon, but another low-level plant-based skill - pollen bomb.

This skill is exclusive to flower-type pets and can be learned by almost all flowering plant-type pets.

Although the name of pollen bomb is bomb, which sounds quite violent, its power is on the low side, and it can basically only compete with skills such as vine whip and flying leaves.

If we had to talk about the advantages of this skill, it would be that it consumes less and can be fired continuously.

Moreover, in addition to direct impact, pollen balls also have certain explosive damage, and the attack range is relatively wide among low-level skills.

Ye Qingyu’s plan was to no longer worry about energy consumption and shoot out dozens of pollen balls in one go.

Either knock that UFO moth out of the sky, or waste all your energy and simply surrender.

It has to be said that the legendary beastmaster’s ability to adapt to situations is very good, and this strategy is indeed the best solution she can achieve now.

After the fight just now, Ye Qingyu was caught off guard by the night field that Ayou forcibly understood on the spot, but she was obviously different from the audience who could only exclaim.

While being surprised, Ye Qingyu also saw Ayou’s shortcomings in strength.

He has a very powerful attack power, has mastered the rare physical phantom skills, and seems to have the floating ability that can rely on airflow to passively dodge. With such a skill configuration, it is obvious that dodge is the main means of self-protection.

Such a long-range turret-type pet basically will not learn some frontal hard-to-resist defensive skills.

And this also means that if Ayou’s body can be truly hit, it will not be able to withstand any wind and rain.

With Lotte Sunflower’s energy density now reaching the early stage of the fourth level, even if he uses the low-level skill Pollen Bomb, as long as he hits two or three balls firmly, Ye Qingyu is confident that he can make a comeback.

However, Ye Qingyu verbally gave various orders to Lotte Sunflower quickly, but in his heart he was even more nervous than Russell.

”Young man, come on, don’t get hit by the pollen bomb...”

If there were any beastmasters with mind-reading abilities in the audience, they would probably be made to doubt their lives by her outrageous inner drama.

Who would have thought that Ye Qingyu, the leader of the Greenleaf Gym who looks so strong on the surface and maintains a very high elimination rate, is selfless and ruthless, looks forward to being beaten by challengers every day...

It is said that becoming a legendary beast master and being able to open a gym of your own is considered to be the pinnacle of a beast master’s life in a general sense.

However, only after you become a gym leader do you realize how much the monthly badge distribution assessment can make you cry.

Because the Gym Challenge has two contradictory attributes: ”selecting qualified contestants for large-scale competitions” and ”encouraging the cultivation of all people”, the pass rate of the challenge is neither too high nor too low.

This core assessment indicator of the gym is linked to many welfare policies and resource allocations.

If the values are abnormal for several months in a row, alliance specialists will even come to your door to provide various pointers in the name of assistance and cultivation.
When thinking of those chattering alliance commissioners and the endless reports and forms, Ye Qingyu felt that one head was as big as two.

As a plant nurturing madman, her desire to win is actually not strong. The idea of releasing water has arisen in Ye Qingyu’s mind hundreds of times.

Unfortunately, there are too many benefits linked to the gym badge.

Even beast masters who don’t plan to take the professional competitive route usually work hard to obtain one or two gym badges.

This is not just an honor, it is one of the most valuable achievements on your resume.

If you have a few gym badges with you, even if you go to a martial arts gym to work as a sparring partner, your net worth will increase several times, and it will be much easier to join some large companies.

Therefore, the Beast Taming Alliance has very strict control over gymnasiums, and the level is no less than that of some medium and large official events.

Every winning video needs to be reviewed by the Beast Control Alliance competition team.

Not to mention match-fixing, a serious illegal act that is expressly prohibited, any sign of waterproofing will have a considerable negative impact on the gym and the gym owner himself.

Since the establishment of the Green Leaf Gym, it has been hovering on the edge of the lowest pass rate, which makes Ye Qingyu very distressed. This is mainly because the blade specialization is too compatible with low- and mid-level beasts. The method of releasing flying leaf storms and solar cannons is indeed a bit too powerful for beasts of the same level.

The badges Ye Qingyu hands out on weekdays are basically given to some older beast masters, as well as a few second-generation masters who have contracted platinum and purple gold level pet beasts.

As the end of the month approaches, she now desperately needs another challenger who can successfully pass the level.

Moreover, the news that Russell’s UFO Hawk Moth has mastered domain skills can also be written into the report, which will help him shift the focus of the Beast Control Alliance...

…………

While Ye Qingyu was thinking about this, Russell also promptly ordered Ayou to adjust his tactics.

Having just experienced the rain of flying leaves and arrows, he could naturally tell that Lotte Sunflower was also ready to give it a try.

With the blessing of the crazy growth skill, the morning light shield around it shone brightly, and there was no fluctuation in the next few nether blasts.

Seeing this scene, Russell understood that it was obviously impossible to break through by force.

What he and Ayou have to do now is to survive the last wave of attacks from the pet beasts in the gym just like Dao Lang faced the arrow rain.

woohoo...

”Hide and seek, I’m the best at it~”

Ayou seemed confident about dodging the opponent’s attacks.

And the subsequent change in the battle situation was indeed within its expectations.

When it received the order to prepare for the final attack, Lotte Sunflower was embarrassed to find that it could not lock Ayou’s figure.

In the dim light, Ayou and the Phantoms were like a few extremely blurry black shadows, constantly intertwining and flying, making it impossible to distinguish their flight trajectories.

laugh……

Looking at the black shadows flying not far away, Lotte Sunflower fell into a brief daze.

Unfortunately, time waits for no one. The crazy growth consumes its remaining energy every moment. After the identification failed, Lotte Sunflower could only launch pollen bombs randomly in the general direction of Ayou’s flying.

However, the effects of releasing skills in such a hasty and panic can be imagined.

As more than a dozen pink pollen bombs streaked across the night and exploded like fireworks, Ayou’s figure was always looming, but there was no sign of being hit by the skill.

After squeezing out all the remaining energy, he fired nearly thirty pollen bombs in a row. Lotte Sunflower’s cauldron failed to break even one phantom.

Such a dramatic scene was not because Ayou cheated continuously. After mastering the basic night field, he also learned some advanced dodge skills.

Ayou just showed that outrageous dodge ability, which only relied on its racial talent skill ”Dark Scale Powder”.

Although the current Ayou can no longer be simply defined as a UFO Hawkmoth, this does not affect its continued retention of the characteristics of a UFO Hawkmoth.

Racial talent skills are skills that can be continuously strengthened as the pet beast grows. After evolving twice, Ayou’s basic abilities as a UFO Hawkmoth have also reached an ”unprecedented” state.

Dark scale powder is the crystallization of the nocturnal habits of the UFO moth. Naturally, it is more effective in darker places.
Under the cover of the night realm, the battlefield environment is darker than dusk, so Ayou’s figure is confusing and difficult to distinguish with the naked eye.

The night field can reduce visibility, and the dim environment can double the dodge effect of Dark Scale Powder. To a certain extent, this can be regarded as a combination skill...

...hee~
At the same time, Lotte Sunflower, which could no longer maintain its crazy growth state and suddenly shrank in size, also fell to the ground crookedly.

”Lotte Sunflower has exhausted its energy and lost the ability to fight. Challenger Russell wins!”

Seeing that his pet beast was defeated, Ye Qingyu, who was beaming with joy, shouted out the result of the challenge in person without waiting for the announcement on the radio.

laugh……?
Completely unable to understand the joyful mood of his own beast master, Lotte Himawari let out a confused cry and then fainted completely.

After finally successfully winning the gym battle, Russell breathed a sigh of relief, while Ayou fluttered around the field several times like a show off, showing off his arrogant nature.

As Ayou left the fighting state, he lost control of the ghost energy in the battlefield and quickly dissipated in the sunlight.

It was still morning, cloudless and sunny.

The spectators in the stands rubbed their eyes, trying to adapt to the bright light again.

In a short period of time, we have experienced a series of changes from daytime to particularly sunny daytime, then suddenly to dusk, and now to daytime again, which everyone will have to adapt to.

After a while, the ghost energy in the battlefield completely dissipated, and the endgame of the battle was completely displayed in front of all the audience.

”That was a domain skill just now, right? You can use the domain at level three. I don’t think this is a UFO Hawk Moth at all!”

”Although insect beasts are generally weak, there are also advanced races. It seems that I have to catch up on the beast control encyclopedia course...”

”Old fellows, have you seen it? There really wasn’t something wrong with my equipment just now. I’m brushing 666. I’m going to the gym entrance now to interview this talented boy!”

Although Ye Qingyu’s shouts had been heard, seeing the powerful Lotte Sunflower being beaten to the ground with their own eyes still had a huge visual impact on everyone.

”Senluo City is really a crouching tiger, hidden dragon. No wonder we don’t have a gym in Silver Wing City... It seems I still have a lot to learn!”

Among the crowd, Zhou Wen, who had met Russell once, was even more excited, as if he had passed the gym by himself.

One person clearing the gym inspired the emotions of hundreds of people. This is probably the motivational effect that the Beast Taming Alliance talks about all day long.

After all, watching a powerful beast master killing everyone on TV is no different from watching a movie.

Even if they see the figure of a ninth-level pet beast, most people will just smile and pass it by with an appreciative attitude, and will not use it as a goal to plan their career in beast control.

However, things that happen to relatives and friends around us are naturally much more real.

Friends who can chat together, become stronger step by step through training, and defeat the once insurmountable beast control gym, this is indeed a very inspiring thing.

Originally, this article had some complaints about the high intensity of challenges at the Green Leaf Gym, but after watching Russell’s battle, he regained his fighting spirit and prepared to return to Silver Wing City to give his two pet beasts special training.

Of course, Russell had no idea that one of his battles had given such great encouragement to a young man from a foreign land. What he was most concerned about now was naturally receiving the badge he had worked so hard to obtain!
