Chapter 632: Chapter 615: Igniting Divine Fire (End of Full Text)

The allocation of the quota, Mu Ying rushed to finish that very day.

Although she was not afraid of competing with Chisima Keiko for the position of Druid, it indeed added some pressure to her.

She wouldn’t just give up on the Druid Law, but she had to buckle down and grasp the Law against the clock.

This retreat, the next time she emerged, she would probably be igniting Divine Fire.

The management of Qingshan City had largely been delegated by Mu Ying to Furris.

Furris was after all a management talent provided by the Elf Clan, and the Guardian Elf was also wholly loyal to her.

Moreover, Elves didn’t have much desire for power, were close to nature, and their management philosophies aligned well with her own. Coupled with the development plans she had prepared in advance, she could be a hands-off manager very comfortably, without worrying about significant problems occurring in her territory.

...

Five years later, when Qingshan City was bursting with spring and flowers.

After many years, players of Deep Blue Star received a global announcement once again.

[Divine Fire Burning]

Accompanying the announcement, no matter where on Deep Blue Star one was, by looking up they could see a figure rising amidst vibrant five-colored flames.

Native players of Deep Blue Star were at a loss, not understanding what was happening, but feeling an involuntary reverence for the flames.

But for the foreign players, even if they had never witnessed it with their own eyes, they had heard stories and recognized at a glance that someone was igniting Divine Fire.

Such a sight was rare in a millennium.

Hearing the doubts of those around them about the colors of the flames, they couldn’t help but tell them how rare this was.

”This isn’t just about igniting Divine Fire, but also ascending to godhood with five Laws. Each color represents a Law, it’s truly astonishing even for a New World; to witness this moment is a privilege I can boast about for a lifetime!”

As the Divine Fire ascended, the figure turned from solid to ethereal, then back to solid.

”What’s happening here?” Unwittingly, a bunch of players who didn’t understand had gathered around the knowledgeable ones.

”The Divine Fire is forging the Divine Body, both flesh and soul will be sublimated, eternal as the Laws!”

As the Divine Body formed, the Divine Fire gradually vanished, and the figure in the middle became clearer.

The person had long black hair that reached the ankles, wore a crown of Vines, a gown embroidered with golden patterns, and was clearly a woman, but her features were obscured by a hazy glow, impossible to discern.

”The first to ascend to godhood isn’t Mu Ying?” In most people’s memories, Mu Ying had green curly hair.

”Who has come from behind?”

[Divine Throne Arising]

Behind the figure, a grand Divine Throne slowly took shape.

It was a deep brown throne with golden grain patterns on it, and in an instant, hundreds of flowers bloomed on the throne.

Two solemn humanoid phantoms guarded the Divine Throne, one with pointed ears, the other wearing a pointy hat.

Everyone perked up their ears, eager to find out who this person was.

[She controls Nature]

[She toys with Destiny]

[She is the Druid God]

[She is the Elf King]

[She is the ancestor of Witches]

”The Divine Positions are Nature, Destiny, Druid, Elf, and Witch! Strange, what is Witch? Why haven’t I heard of it?”

”Who exactly is this?”

The God held a section of a red thorny branch and sat upon Her own Divine Throne.

Above the firmament, the God looked down upon the earth and Her lips parted gently: ”My name is Mu Ying.”

At Her feet, a lovably clumsy black and white Fur Ball suddenly appeared, roaring ferociously.

At the left of the throne’s armrest, a majestic Griffin looked up and cried out.

On armrest at the right, there was a small model of a city.

Among the vines on the back of the chair, beautiful little fairies danced.

The God raised Her left hand, and the Vine-like Divine Artifact on Her wrist emitted a faint glow, dispersing droplets that spread globally, silently hovering.

The God extended Her right hand, from the red Thorny Branch, a golden glow spread out, followed by a green one.

Glittering with golden light and full of vitality, the droplets fell down, forming a worldwide No-Cloud Rain.

With this rain, She gave back to the earth, blessing all creatures on it.

After the rain, the Divine Throne rose with the figure and vanished into the Divine Country, unseen again.

People gazed at the sky for a long time, unable to recover, that declaration ”My name is Mu Ying,” echoing in their hearts.

The first deity of Deep Blue Star, it was her, unexpected, yet it made sense.

In the Neon Area, Chisima Keiko sighed, ”I still lost, huh!”

A Second-level Law, and she couldn’t match Mu Ying’s two Level 1 and three Level 2 Laws; she accepted her defeat, heartily convinced.

But on the Path to God, it was somewhat regrettable that the Druid Law with 80% control had disappeared and the Contribution used could not be retrieved.

”One day, I will also lift high the Divine Throne!” she mumbled.

...

At the same time, Mu Ying retracted her Divine Power and, with her family in tow, returned to the Plantation of Qingshan City.

She had no choice; her Divine Country was still in chaos.

Although she had successfully become a god, just a step away from Powerful Divine Power with only Intermediate Divine Power at her disposal, becoming a god with Powerful Divine Power was only a matter of time. But that did not prevent her from being completely clueless about how to construct her own Divine Country, having rushed to ignite the Divine Fire out of fear that the Druid Law would be taken by someone else.

Being a god didn’t stop Qingshan City from being her home, moreover, there were people waiting for her.

Seeing her silver-haired youth, Mu Ying’s eyes smiled into crescent moons, ”Yin! I’m back!”

”Congratulations, controller of Nature and Destiny, God of Druids, Elf King, ancestor of Witches, and my girl!” Shi Yin embraced her.

”I was really domineering just now, ’My name is Mu Ying’—hehe!”

”Domineering, very imposing. When I become a god, I’ll be just like you.”

”’My name, Shi Yin’? Ha ha! I’ll definitely be there to watch. When I entered the Divine Country just now, there were many gods watching, but when the Elf God King appeared, no one dared to approach. He said I did very well!”

”Yes! You truly did amazing!”

”It feels so unreal; I’m a god! But the heavens are not as good as the earth. I’ve been suffocating these past few years.”

”There’s a celebration in Qingshan City today, want to go have fun together? Relax properly; you worked too hard before. From now on, you can enjoy life.”

”Okay!”

(End of the story)
