Chapter 613: 596 Qingshan - Jade ColdChapter 613: Chapter 596 Qingshan – Jade Cold

To prevent this topic from continuing, Mu Ying quickly opened the Star Map and selected to establish a Cross-border Teleportation Array with Trachsel Jade Cold.

The massive Transmission Array instantly took shape on the platform.

The Local People curiously gathered around the announcement board beside the array to look.

“Deep Blue Star Green Mountain City to Trachsel Jade Cold? Trachsel Planet, Jade Cold City?”

“A full load of 10 people, teleportation fee 1000 Gold Coins per use, hiss! That expensive? Even with a full load, it’s 100 Gold Coins per person! Who can afford that?”

Mu Ying also had no choice regarding the price. The teleportation fees were not arbitrarily set by her, but were based on the pricing from Jade Cold City.

In fact, because Elves are inherently wealthy, the teleportation fees for the arrays in the cities within Avando’s sub-plane are somewhat cheaper than those on other planets, and the commission isn’t much.

Of the 1000 Gold Coins for the teleportation fee, 90% is consumed in the activation process of the array.

Moreover, the construction cost of the teleportation array is also not cheap, totaling 100000 Gold Coins, which is 10 Purple Gold Coins.

It can be said that it was a stroke of luck that Qingshan City won in the City-level Territory competition; otherwise, if the blueprints were given to another territory, probably no one could afford to build it.

Now, the locals say it’s expensive, but once they actually use the teleportation array to go outside and see the prices there, they’ll realize how reasonable this price is.

“Xiao Mu Ying, come back to Avando with us too!” Layla came over and urged her.

Mu Ying shook her head: “I won’t be going. There are lots of things to do here in the territory, and I’m not yet at Legend status. There’s no benefit to leaving Deep Blue Star right now.”

Not only Legend status but even after igniting the Divine Fire, traveling away from one’s Mother Star wouldn’t yield much benefit.

It’s akin to how, before the apocalypse, people could only travel abroad with visas and would still face many inconveniences in life.

The source of everyone’s Strength largely lies in the Laws of the Mother Star.

Departing from the Mother Star, one’s abilities might still function, but the idea of accumulating Experience and training to level up like one would on the Mother Star is out of the question.

It’s even less likely to perceive the Laws of another planet and ascend to a Divine Position.

Generally, those who leave their Mother Star to travel are either Legends who don’t aspire to godhood, non-Trialists who have no chance of becoming gods, merchants who need to travel for business, or deities who have already ascended to their Divine Positions and are bored with godly life, seeking entertainment outside.

Serious cultivators aiming to enhance their Strength won’t waste their time away from their Mother Star. After all, the Laws that can support the ignition of the Divine Fire and grant a Divine Position are limited, and being one step behind might mean having one taken by someone else.

Although Mu Ying is also curious about Avando, now is not the time to go out and have fun.

However, Layla and the others needn’t worry so much about these things. Their “residency” might have been transferred to Deep Blue Star, but among the initial migrants, only the underage youngsters had the opportunity to obtain a spot as Trialists of the planet. The adults had almost no hope, so they didn’t need to compete.

With the long lifespans of Elves, going back to have some fun is no big deal.

Layla and the others were no strangers to Mu Ying’s dedication to improving her Strength and could understand: “Alright then, we will bring you gifts when we return. We were in such a hurry when we first came that we couldn’t prepare many things. This time we need to shop properly.”

“Okay,” said Mu Ying with a smile: “I’ll be waiting for your gifts!”

The Elves stood on the Transmission Array, shrouded by light, and when the light subsided, there was no one left on the array.

Mu Ying’s Guardian Elf Guard didn’t all return at once, they even divided themselves into batches, waiting for one wave to return before the next one would leave.

The players watched as the Elves spent a thousand Gold Coins without even frowning, and they were filled with envy.

For them, not to mention a thousand, they couldn’t even gather enough for the 100 Gold Coin travel expense for maximum capacity transmission.

They had been hoping to see the world outside Deep Blue Star, but they were quickly brought back to reality. Whether before the apocalypse or after, traveling far required money, lots of it.

After sending off the Elves, Mu Ying then went to look into the other rewards from this City-level Territory competition.

The most critical was the coin minting rights.

These rights meant that she could work with a certain amount of gold, silver, and copper to convert the territory interface’s energy into corresponding coins.

The value of these coins would be the same as the current ones in circulation on Deep Blue Star, and the exchange rate was the same too, but she could design the style of the coins herself.

That is to say, Qingshan City could have its own coins in the future, and as long as there were gold, silver, copper mines, and sufficient energy, they could mint their own money.

However, the value of one unit of energy was equivalent to one copper coin, and the process of making coins required some extra metal materials. Therefore, converting other coins into energy and then reminting them resulted in a loss and was not very cost-effective; directly minting coins was the same.

But now, she had one gold, silver, and copper mine resource point each from the competition awards, which she could place wherever she wanted, and these three resource points could be used to cover the cost of minting coins.

Plus, the minerals found at the bottom of the sea could also be useful, so she wasn’t short of metals for minting.

Having checked these things, Mu Ying went to the Chaotic Stone Forest, near the Quarry Camp, and constructed three more mining camps to place these three resource points. She then informed Professor Su to start mining these spots.

After this was arranged, she posted a mission notification on the Territory Internal Network.

[Territory Mission: Currency Design Collection]

[Mission Description: The territory has won the City-level Territory competition and obtained the coin minting rights, allowing for the creation of its own territorial currency. Designs for the territory’s currency are now being collected from all Local People.]

[Mission Reward: The final chosen design will receive a reward of 100 Gold Coins.]

[Mission Requirements: The territorial currency should include Purple Gold Coin, Gold Coin, Silver Coin, and Copper Coin. Submissions can be delivered to the Territory Reception Centre.]

[Mission Deadline: Manuscripts must be submitted within one week of the mission posting.]

In this way, she didn’t have to rack her brains for currency designs; after all, professional matters should be left to professionals.

Once the mission was posted, Mu Ying felt a weight lift off her shoulders, “Alright, territorial matters are sorted, now we can focus on studying with peace of mind!”

She renovated the Plantation again, as all proper farming and cultivation were now transferred to the Small World, turning the Plantation into her private area for learning and living.

She set up a spacious training field here, half of which she allocated to Shi Yin, and then the two of them sat down, one at this end of the grass and the other at the opposite end, and began studying intently.

Mu Ying studied her spells, while Shi Yin assimilated what she had learned from her legacy. Sometimes, they would practice dueling together.

With a companion, Mu Ying no longer found her studies dull.
