Chapter 615 - 598: Path to God
Chapter 615: Chapter 598: Path to God

Since the forum posts posed no threat to her, Mu Ying, after reading them, no longer took them seriously.

Shortly after, the currency design contest ended, and Mu Ying posted the collected designs within the territory, then conducted a poll to select the most popular set of designs.

The copper coin featured Da Ming with his wings poised for flight, the silver coin displayed Gungun in a adorably clumsy pose, the gold coin bore Mu Ying’s portrait, and the purple gold coin depicted the continuous green mountains and waters.

After the results were out, Mu Ying submitted the design drafts to the territory’s coin minting feature column.

Then, she transformed all the existing coins in Qingshan City’s territory bank into territory energy and deposited an adequate amount of gold, silver, and copper mines into the territory panel.

Thus, whenever the locals within the territory retrieved their own saved money through the Territory Internal Network, they would automatically receive the new version of the Qingshan City coins.

Gradually, everyone started calling this set of coins Qingshan Coin, with different denominations also getting nicknames: copper coins were called Griffin Coins, silver coins were dubbed Panda Coins, gold coins were termed Lord Coins, and purple gold coins were known as Jiangshan Coins.

From thereon, Qingshan City significantly distanced itself from other territories.

With the help of the Druids, the planting and breeding endeavors of various Beastman tribes in the northern wilderness gradually got on the right track.

Half a year later, Mu Ying finally began to receive a steady stream of Experience credits.

[You have alleviated the Rabbit Clan Beastman’s damage to the natural environment through your teachings, earned 1500 Professional Experience]

[You have reached the Level 17 Experience limit, 200 points of Professional Experience have overflowed]

[You have met the upgrade criteria, please prepare and upgrade as soon as possible]

The time had finally come to become a legend.

Mu Ying immediately entered the upgrade state.

This time, the natural power swirling around her was denser, and her perception of the natural power had also sharpened.

One week later, the upgrade was complete.

[After nature’s purification, you have become a Level 18 Druid]

[Based on your Druid Level, your Druid Skill Wild Transformation may now be used an unlimited number of times daily]

[Based on your Druid Level, your Life Value has risen to 1470]

[Based on your Druid Level, your Mana Value has increased to 290]

[Based on your Druid Level, the Path to God has been unlocked, unveiling the Path to God page]

After the upgrade, Mu Ying noticed a new change in the Profession section of her attribute panel.

[Profession: Druid Level 18] (Path to God)

(Note: Any Law Control ≥ 0% qualifies to become a Level 19 Demigod)

The progress marker for Professional Experience had completely disappeared.

Clearly, starting from Level 18, even Professional Experience was no longer effective.

She clicked on the Path to God marker behind the profession column.

[Path to God]

[Mother Star: Deep Blue Star]

[Allocatable Contribution Points: 156484]

(Note: This value originates from the accumulated Source Power in the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial, and can be used to enhance the Contribution in any Law. The Contribution to individual Laws is directly recorded under the respective Law and is not included in this figure.)

[Laws]

[1. Natural Laws (First-level Law, unoccupied): Affinity 90%, Contribution 30%, Control 0%]

[2. Professional Law—Druid (Second-level Law, unoccupied): Affinity 85%, Contribution 10%, Control 0%]

[3. Bloodline Law—Elf (Second-level Law, unoccupied): Affinity 70%, Contribution 0%, Control 0%]

[4. Bloodline Law—Green Witch (Second-level Law, unoccupied): Affinity 60%, Contribution 0%, Control 0%]

[5. Law of Destiny (First-level Law, unoccupied): Affinity 50%, Contribution 0%, Control 0%]

(Note: 1. Affinity represents the compatibility with this particular Law. The higher the Affinity, the easier it is to control the Law. Laws with an Affinity below 50% cannot be controlled;

2. Contribution represents the contribution to this particular Law. Contribution is a prerequisite for increasing control. Only when Contribution exceeds Control can one comprehend the Law to enhance the Control over it. This value can be increased by allocatable Contribution Points or by actual beneficial actions corresponding to the Law. To raise Contribution in a First-level Law by 1%, 10,000 Contribution Points are required, and for Second-level Laws, 1,000 Contribution Points per 1%, and so on;

3. Control represents the level of command over the Law. When Control reaches 100%, one can ignite Divine Fire and ascend to a Divine Position;

4. Each Law represents a unique path to divinity; only unoccupied Laws can successfully ignite the Divine Fire, and each being has only one chance to ignite the Divine Fire. Multiple Laws can ignite the Divine Fire simultaneously, but once the Divine Fire is ignited, it is not possible to ignite another using other Laws.)

Mu Ying gradually understood the formerly unclear path to divinity as she read through the details.

In summary, she had five Laws to choose from, among which the natural and the Law of Destiny were First-level, while Druid, Elf, and Green Witch were Second-level.

Each Law is a path to godhood, and she only needs to increase each Law’s Control to 100% to ignite the Divine Fire and ascend to a Divine Position.

However, raising Control requires corresponding Contribution, which she needs to earn either by contributing to the Law or by using allocatable Contribution Points.

The allocatable Contribution Points are her earnings of Source Power from her Mother Star, which is the total amount of Source Power she has obtained in the Trial World up to now.

Currently, there are 156,484 points, which, if allocated to a First-level Law, would increase Contribution by a total of 15%, and if allocated to a Second-level Law, would increase Contribution by a total of 156%.

This means that, if she wishes, she could now max out the Contribution for three of the five Laws, ”Druid,” ”Elf,” and ”Green Witch,” choose any one of them, comprehend the Law without restriction, max out the Control, and directly ignite the Divine Fire.

Doing this, she could indeed ascend to godhood at the fastest speed, but she would only ascend using a single Second-level Law, since each person has only one chance to ignite the Divine Fire.

The strength of godly power after becoming a god is directly related to the strength of the Law, and with other better options available, naturally, Mu Ying would not just settle for speed but compromise the strength of her future divine power.

Right now, on Deep Blue Star, she was the only player who had reached legend status and embarked on the Path to God; all the Laws were unoccupied, presenting a tremendous opportunity that she naturally wanted to maximize by mastering these Laws for herself!

But managing five Laws was too many.

The only Laws that had any Contribution points already were the Natural Law and Druid Law, presumably because Mu Ying’s consistent training in the Druid profession had been beneficial to these two Laws, leading to progress of 30% and 10% respectively.

The rest of the Contribution would likely have to depend on allocatable Contribution Points, which equate to earning Source Power in the Trial World.

All in all, she would need 1.99 million Contribution Points, equating to 1.99 million Source Power.

Yet, as of now, six years into the Doomsday, she had accumulated just over 150,000 Source Power, far from enough.

Gathering 1.99 million Source Power could take an indeterminate amount of time.

The critical point is that this Source Power cannot come from trading; trading only increases the Source Power balance, whereas only Source Power earned in the Trial contributes to the accumulated total.

Even though Mu Ying was currently far ahead, she had no assurance she could earn 1.99 million Source Power before others caught up, thereby raising the Control of all five paths to 100%.
