I Live on the Land in Global Games

Afterward, Mu Ying led them to the teachers’ dormitories, each a stone cottage.

She had also thoughtfully prepared some wooden furniture with the Shaping Wood Skill, truly showing her sincerity.

The Druids were very satisfied.

Having agreed on the terms, Mu Ying began to share her plan with them.

Even before her companions had arrived, she had already clearly calculated their roles.

The Druids were also divided into groups, each responsible for teaching a specific living skill to the Beastmen.

This approach would also be applied later when restoring the environment of the wastelands.

The wastelands were originally brought along by different tribes of Beastmen when they migrated to Deep Blue Star. After restoration, the Beastmen could return to thrive in their original lands.

Mu Ying provided all the teaching materials, aids, and other necessary supplies, and she would also pay the Druids a salary.

During this period, Mu Ying had devised the teaching materials based on the instructional guide and the needs and habits of the Beastmen. Using this curriculum as a blueprint for about a year would suffice, and besides the Universal Language, other skills could be basically initiated.

Latterly, the Druids could take their students back to their tribes, where they could plant forests nearby to earn Professional Experience.

With Beastman students present, their safety during planting was assured. Moreover, if the students encountered difficulties, they could immediately address these challenges and advance the teaching process further.

Mu Ying herself would oversee the overall direction, and regularly visit each wasteland, striving to enrich the soils before the Beastman students returned to their tribes to begin planting and husbandry activities.

Although the effect of increased yield from the Plant Growth enhanced soils could only last a year, its restorative effect on the land is lasting.

When the Beastmen returned to their tribes, they could immediately start applying what they had learned, beginning planting and husbandry activities.

As for teaching Universal Language to the point of fluent communication, one to two years was definitely not sufficient; it required more time.

Mu Ying planned to select two Tiger Clan Beastmen who had made the most progress in Universal Language and personally teach them.

She aimed to leave behind talent who could take over teaching roles. Having them around, she could also have their help in translating into Beastman Language, creating guides that were understandable even if their Universal Language skills were lacking.

This way, if they encountered any issues later, they could find solutions in the books without needing to ask anyone.

According to her estimates, once the Beastmen had learned the basics of planting, husbandry, and Universal Language, each tribe would have capable individuals to lead, and they could begin reconstructing their tribes and shifting their lifestyles. The Druids would then gradually withdraw from the education process of the Beastmen.

They were only initiating the process and weren’t planning to stay long-term with the Beastmen; sooner or later, they would leave.

This time, at most two years.

Eventually, the administration of the Beastman Academy would step by step be handed over to the Beastmen, who had to become self-reliant.

In her previous teaching efforts, Mu Ying had already taken steps to motivate them and prevent a dependency on her unrecompensed help.

Even if they couldn’t master everything in two years, Mu Ying wouldn’t offer further help.

While she needed the experience of educating Beastmen, if the Beastmen couldn’t pull themselves up, she wouldn’t remain forever just for that experience.

However, if the educational process ultimately failed and the Beastmen couldn’t shift their lifestyle, that year would be wasted. Mu Ying herself would be okay, but it was the other Druids who she had called upon.

If it ended up in loss, she alone could bear the loss, but she couldn’t let her companions share that consequence, which is why she offered teachers’ salaries.

Nevertheless, due to such education, Beastmen greatly valued and cherished seedlings and young animals.

Whether it was the seedlings and young animals in their learning trial fields and beast cages, or those awarded in various examinations, they cherished them all.

These were assets they could take back to their tribes in the future. If they didn’t work hard, they would only receive a small graduation subsidy, starting much slower than other tribes.

Some of the older Beastmen who had joined the academy were earnestly studying, planning to take over the task of teaching the young Beastmen when Mu Ying handed over the academy to their self-governance in the future.

They planned to turn the Beastman Academy into a base for basic education of young Beastmen in their tribes in the future.

Mu Ying shared the entire educational plan with her Druid companions, including the academy’s layout, teaching schedule, and benefits, and she didn’t conceal the best or worst possible outcomes.

After she had finished, she looked at the Druids, “Do you have anything you’d like to change or add?”

The Druids shook their heads one after another, “You’ve thought it through very well. If we fail, we still get paid, if we succeed, we will share the experience, and the coming and going are free; there’s nothing better than this.”

Mu Ying smiled, “I knew it; my sincerity is indeed substantial.”

One Druid couldn’t help but ask, “Can’t we really stay here forever as teachers? This salary makes me drool.”

Mu Ying glanced sideways at the speaking Druid and said testily, “Do I look like a big softy? Salaries only last until the completion of the first teaching stage, at most another year and a half.

By then, we will be able to see whether it’s working or not; if not, so be it.

If it works, the Beastman Academy’s expenses will need to be managed by the Beastmen themselves. If they want to keep teachers, you definitely have an advantage.

Our own academy in Qingshan City is still in the planning stage; I can’t invest too much here.

If you like teaching by then, you can apply for a position in Qingshan City, where both basic and professional educational stages will be open and in need of many teachers, especially at the Druid College, which I oversee, with investment that’s even higher and better benefits than the Beastman Academy. If you go, I would take you all!”

Mu Ying finished, while cleverly promoting her own territory.

“Then of course we’ll go to Qingshan City! Qingshan City is our Druids’ city of dreams!” the Druids didn’t hesitate at all.

“That’s wonderful,” Mu Ying understood them well.

The talented Druids of Deep Blue Star were mostly here already. Those with less talent and stuck at a lower level weren’t attracted to the meager experience earned through painstakingly planting trees and gradually found places to retire. The ones who could keep up with her were those with potential to level up.

She had long been planning to entice people to her territory; the Druid College also needed a large workforce.
