I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 67 - 67 66 Light of Moonlight67: Chapter 66 Light of Moonlight 67: Chapter 66 Light of Moonlight Last year, it turned out that their mischief-loving principal forgot to remind the senior sisters, and then Senior Sister Margreta was the first to suggest multiple infections of materials at once to avoid wasting time in case of failure.

She simultaneously infected a whole bag of seeds and a bundle of wand materials.

The other senior sisters did the same, although they were more conservative, at most infecting three sets of materials at the same time.

At first, it was fine, but when the materials were close to being completely infected, they started to fight each other.

By the next morning, all their materials had been ruined.

It was only after that the principal smacked his forehead as if just remembering to say, “Spiritual materials infused with a witch’s magic power will repel each other, which is why a witch will never have two brooms or two magic wands at the same time.”

Senior Sister Margreta suffered heavy losses, and her current broom and magic wand were made from materials given to her by Senior Sister Rosie.

When Lillian went to ask today, Senior Sister Margreta was hesitant and even encouraged her to give it a try, probably wanting her junior sister to experience what she went through last year.

Luckily, she still had some conscience and specifically reminded Lillian not to use up all her materials at once.

For the next two days, their classes were all about herbal medicine and history.

Mu Ying was quite interested in herbal medicine, while Windsor only liked the flowers and plants in the herbal atlas, but was more interested in the knowledge of humans in history.

According to her, she wanted to find her wonderful love in the human world after graduation, but after being disillusioned by Mu Ying’s various real-life stories, she decided to put more effort into concealing her identity.

Lillian wasn’t interested in any of these, feeling that as long as she was good at magic and strong enough to fight, she wouldn’t need to bother with all those roundabout ways.

The broom grass, after being infected with magic power, had mutated.

It sprouted in one day, grew to waist height in three days, and continued to grow rapidly.

Every day, their joy was to watch their own broom grass and compare how much it had grown.

Even with the same seeds, the broom grasses they grew were quite different, almost like three distinct plants.

Lillian’s broom grass had slightly red stems, and its leaves looked like clumps of small flames.

Within a 1-meter radius of her broom grass, the temperature was higher than other areas.

Windsor’s broom grass didn’t need watering at all, and even often needed excess moisture to be removed to prevent overflowing from the flowerpot.

Who asked her broom grass to be covered with droplets?

Only Mu Ying’s situation was somewhat normal; it needed daily watering and fertilizing.

Its vibrant green leaves wrapped around the stem, forming an oval ball.

“How is that normal?” Lillian complained, looking down on Mu Ying for fearing that her broom grass would get burnt or drowned, hence moving its pot more than ten meters away from theirs.

“Normal broom grass doesn’t bloom, nor does it have such a pleasant fragrance,” Windsor retorted, now familiar enough with the others to start picking up bad habits.

“...”

Mu Ying refused to admit it, trying to change the subject, “Our broom grass is already as thick as two fingers, and should mature by the class before next week at latest!”

As soon as this topic was mentioned, Lillian and Windsor also began to look forward to it.

Their magic wands would probably take another week to take shape, which meant that from the week after next, they wouldn’t have to keep studying herbal medicine and history.

Mu Ying was also looking forward to it.

By that time, she would almost have saved up enough Source Power in the Square World, and she could start applying this world’s abilities to reality.

Lying on the bed in her dormitory room, Mu Ying seamlessly left the Trial World in her dreams and joined her body that was also lying in bed in the real world.

In the eyes of Gungun and Shi Yin, Mu Ying simply went to bed for a nap.

Nobody knew that she had just spent three days in another world.

The next morning, she rushed to transfer the Space Core to the underground of her territory in the Mushroom Man Dungeon, and Mu Ying welcomed a stable development period.

There was still a large expanse of land in the plantation of the Sub-camp waiting to be planted, and Mu Ying did not leave her territory for several days in a row.

Every morning, I’d teleport directly to the Plantation and take care of the planting whilst alternating with studying spells.

When I had Mana Value, I’d practice magic, and once it was exhausted, I’d begin transplanting the plants from the seedling grass basket—a busy yet fulfilling routine.

In the Emerald World, however, since the Magic Wand and Broom Grass were not ready, I had two weeks straight of herbal medicine and history lessons, which were quite relaxing, and it had become a wonderful place for Mu Ying to unwind.

My days consisted of dining and drinking with the girls, soaking up the sun, and chatting.

Hence, the compact and busy life in reality did not tire Mu Ying out.

Three days passed, and although only a small portion of the Plantation was cultivated, my seedling grass basket was finally empty.

I roughly divided the Plantation into five areas: the Medicinal Garden, orchard, Vegetable Garden, Forest Land, and the seedling area.

The Medicinal Garden was still empty; the orchard had the most plants, including the fruit tree seedlings that had mutated due to the rain; the Vegetable Garden was the smallest, about the same size as it was before moving.

After all, there were only three mouths to feed in our family—me, Gungun, and Old Yellow Bull—and Shi Yin, the figurehead, couldn’t eat.

So as long as there was enough to eat, I wasn’t looking to make money from these crops.

In the Forest Land, I planted some tree seedlings with a tendency to mutate, and the seedling area was still empty as I hadn’t collected plant seeds from the forest for a while.

Besides, in the process of planting, my Professional Experience increased significantly.

[Profession: Druid Level 3 (402/600)]

The progress towards level 3 was already two-thirds complete, widening the gap with those who had begun to catch up with me recently.

At the same time, I also learned two new second-circle spells.

The area Attack Magic “Light of Moonlight” and the support magic “Spider Walk Skill.”

Light of Moonlight can create a lit area that causes burn-like damage to enemies, but it doesn’t involve flames, so there’s no need to worry about starting a fire.

Its only drawback is that the damage is not as high as single-target spells.

This was the counter-strategy I came up with after encountering the Ghost Fire, a method to handle agile, low-defense adversaries.

And the Spider Walk Skill was considered because I have the Crosshair Skill, and as I grew more skilled with the bow and arrow, shooting from trees in the forest was much more convenient and safe than the ground obscured by vegetation.

This spell helps me to quickly climb trees and move around in them.

It allows me to move on vertical surfaces as if they were flat ground, and climbing to the ceiling is as simple as walking.

Combined with an array of other Amplification Magic, I truly thrived in the forest, even moving swiftly through the trees and, apart from slightly lacking in jumping power, it was almost akin to Qinggong.

On this day, as usual, after finishing up work in the Plantation, I went to Sela Restaurant for a meal.

Yuan Gungun, who usually treated the restaurant like a cafeteria, was unexpectedly not there.

I ate something casually and returned to the Tree House, only to find Yuan Gungun in the living room gnawing on dark bread.

“What’s going on?” Although dark bread was always Yuan Gungun’s chew toy, I had never seen it eat dark bread as a meal before.

Yuan Gungun lifted its chin, though with its current size, one could barely make out the shape of a chin anymore.

It took a piece of dark bread and gently tapped it on its head, and the bread broke into four pieces.

“When did the dark bread Marin made become so soft?” Mu Ying muttered in surprise, then suddenly thought of something and quickly checked the attributes of her animal companion.
