Devouring Evolution: Devouring Nuclear Bombs at the Start

53: Chapter 53 Blue Spirit GodEighteen wiggled its body in circles, and Lin Sheng likewise flicked his tail to bid farewell.

After watching Eighteen leave, Lin Sheng dove back into the sea.

”System, display my data panel.”

On the way, Lin Sheng instructed the system.

He needed to check his current status to plan his next steps in advance.

「Host: Lin Sheng

Body Length: 310 meters

evolution points: 37,425,441

Talents:

Immortal Consciousness (Truth Level)

Omniscience (Pseudo) (Truth Level)

Devour (Concept Level)

Evolution (Concept Level)

Immaculate Body (Balance Grade) (71%)

Super Hibernation (Balance Grade)

Weak Control over Electromagnetism (Balance Grade)

...

Evaluation: It looks like you have been doing well lately; you have grown so much in just a few days.」

Lin Sheng naturally ignored the system’s evaluation. He glanced at his evolution points balance and his body length, then made a firm decision.

He would first save up 50 million evolution points, then decide whether to undergo an Evolution based on the situation.

If his body length could be kept under 400 meters, he could evolve within this sea area.

But if his body length became too long by then, he would have no choice but to leave that sea area.

...

Lin Sheng returned to the seabed.

It was as peaceful as ever here. Regarding Lin Sheng’s return, these creatures merely glanced at him and then showed no further reaction.

After returning to the seabed, Lin Sheng began his routine, leisurely life.

By chance, on a whim, Lin Sheng wanted to dig up the sand and stones on the seabed to see what was underneath.

According to his understanding, since the surface sand and stones contained abundant energy, the sand and stones underneath must contain even more.

「My guess was right.」

Lin Sheng began to dig into the sand and stones beneath his feet.

The ”God” had its own set of operating rules; it would not actively attack small creatures, so Lin Sheng was not worried about his safety.

As the digging went deeper, the amount of evolution points Lin Sheng could obtain with each mouthful increased.

Gradually, Lin Sheng’s movements became more and more proficient.

To an outsider, his movements looked like a bodily instinct, repeating mechanically.

The actions continued for a long time, until one moment...

”...”

Lin Sheng’s claws suddenly touched a hard object, which forced him to stop digging.

Lin Sheng also came to his senses at this moment.

Unknowingly, a pit hundreds of meters deep had already appeared beneath Lin Sheng’s feet.

At the bottom of the pit, the hard object that prevented Lin Sheng from digging further down was a huge, irregular crystal emitting blue light.

Deep blue light flowed across the surface of the crystal. Lin Sheng only took a few mouthfuls, and he already gained a large amount of evolution points.

He was very curious about the origin of this crystal.

「#&*％ (deep blue pedestal), contains abundant energy, is the habitat of the ”God”, contact will attract the hostility of the ”God”」

”Oh no!”

When this information appeared in his mind, Lin Sheng was startled.

Just as he was about to move, his body suddenly stiffened.

Lin Sheng only felt a sharp pain coming from the skin all over his body simultaneously. The stinging sensation instantly spread throughout his entire body, almost causing Lin Sheng’s consciousness to leave his body.

Blue light enveloped Lin Sheng’s entire body, instantly adding a blue filter to Lin Sheng’s vision.

”I need all the information I can know about this thing.”

「$$*& (Blue Spirit God), because its Creator endowed it with divinity, it is called God.」

「A life form composed entirely of energy, with extremely high consciousness intensity (law level), immune to physical attacks.」

「Under the shroud of its divine light, all things will be affected by divinity, thereby forgetting strife.」

「Non-physical attacks of law level and above can cause damage to it.」

For a moment, Lin Sheng wanted to give up struggling.

The situation of the Blue Spirit God was simply an invincible existence for the current Lin Sheng.

Just the immunity to physical attacks already countered Lin Sheng completely.

Although Lin Sheng also had non-physical attacks, such as lightning generated by Electromagnetic Force or Nuclear Energy Ray, the strongest of these attacks was only Balance Grade.

And if he wanted to cause damage to the Blue Spirit God, he needed at least a ”law level” attack.

Lin Sheng gritted his teeth, trying to control his body.

Although those thin blue needles looked fragile, they were stuck in Lin Sheng’s body like the steel needles used to pin insect specimens in a laboratory.

And Lin Sheng was that insect specimen pinned by the steel needles.

Even if he used all his strength, he could only barely open his mouth; just this one action already left Lin Sheng nearly exhausted.

Feeling his own energy being absorbed, Lin Sheng was anxious.

”I need a solution.”

In the current situation, Lin Sheng could only hope that ”Omniscience” had a solution.

Although Evolution could also make Lin Sheng temporarily safe, under these circumstances, using Evolution to escape was completely unadvisable.

After all, given the Blue Spirit God’s strength, even if Lin Sheng used up all the 40 million+ evolution points he had saved over these days, it would probably be of no avail.

Expecting to evolve a law level non-physical attack talent with a mere 40 million+ evolution points, isn’t that ridiculous?

「Before your physical body is digested by the Blue Spirit God, kill the Blue Spirit God first.」

”What the f*ck!”

”I need a way to kill the Blue Spirit God!”

Lin Sheng roared in his heart.

「Eat it.」

The solution provided by Omniscience was simple and clear, and Lin Sheng understood it in an instant.

That’s right!

How could he have forgotten the ”Devour” talent?

As a Concept Level talent, ”Devour” could be said to be able to devour anything beneath the Truth.

It was just because Lin Sheng’s ability was limited and he could not touch some conceptual things that the ”Devour” talent was restricted.

If Lin Sheng could see concepts, with the level of ”Devour”, he could even devour concepts.

And although the Blue Spirit God before him was powerful, powerful to the point of exceeding the scope of normal creatures, in Lin Sheng’s eyes, it was traceable.

In front of the Concept Level ”Devour”, the traceable Blue Spirit God was nothing more than a large mass of energy.

As long as Lin Sheng could get it into his mouth, it would only have the fate of becoming evolution points.

And just after figuring this out, Lin Sheng also discovered some conditions of his body.

Although his body was almost pierced by the thin blue needles, his stomach did not have the pain of being pierced.

This also indirectly proved the restraining effect of ”Devour” on the Blue Spirit God.

”...”

Lin Sheng forced his mouth open again, then opened it wide and took a fierce breath.

Since the Blue Spirit God completely wrapped around the organism when hunting, this bite of Lin Sheng not only swallowed a large amount of seawater but also swallowed part of the Blue Spirit God’s body.

A large amount of evolution points gained also allowed Lin Sheng’s body to be replenished.

With his body replenished, Lin Sheng continued to open his mouth wide, absorbing the body of the Blue Spirit God.

Under Lin Sheng’s continuous devouring, the Blue Spirit God suddenly discovered that this creature offending it seemed a bit special.

Not only was it unable to pierce its body into his abdomen, but even the bit of its body that was swallowed into his abdomen had disappeared.

This made the Blue Spirit God feel startled.

It had also observed Lin Sheng before and knew that this creature was not affected by its divinity and possessed a strange devouring ability.

But in the eyes of the Blue Spirit God, this was nothing more than a slightly special low-level creature.

What the Blue Spirit God did not expect was that this low-level creature would be so bold as to come and offend it, and even wield a butcher’s knife against it.

Not only that, the butcher’s knife wielded by this low-level creature in its eyes could actually cause damage to it!

After Lin Sheng devoured the body of the Blue Spirit God, the Blue Spirit God had already made a conclusion about Lin Sheng.

Blasphemer, must not be left alive!

Bright blue light illuminated the pitch-black deep sea, powerful energy permeated the surroundings, and the light broke the tranquility under the shroud of divinity.

The creatures affected by divinity also had a brief moment of self-awareness at this time. After detecting the powerful energy erupting from here, they all fled away from this battlefield.
