My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3050 -1016: Transylvania Tactics · Monkey-Version Orbital Drop Ready!

“The target island is just ahead, but the storm intensity nearby hasn’t weakened enough to let the airship enter safely. The violent storm stirred up by the Daguan Fishmen could easily lead us to a crash.

It seems that the Merfolk have suffered severe losses and no longer have enough magical power to counter this storm.”

In the rented airship 013, Old Qin was stationed in the command room, listening to reports from Lin, who was temporarily serving as the airship formation commander, and Selakfenta.

These two guys had been interning at Captain Paula’s Perfect Shipping Company for a long time and earned their airship pilot licenses through their efforts, making them leading figures in the “Air Force Formation” that the player group is gradually realizing.

The fact that these two guys unanimously think the airship formation cannot currently land indicates that the situation ahead is indeed severe.

This fact is something that can also be seen with the naked eye.

The horizon before Old Qin’s eyes was filled with thick black clouds, the storm stirred up by the Merfolk sealing the surrounding sea region like a catastrophic tornado, with extremely low visibility skies showcasing ominous scenes of lightning and thunder, as if filthy black thunder dragons were rolling around wantonly.

The power of this storm was not inferior to the attack storm on Charldo Harbor, and there was always an unmistakable fishy smell lingering in the air here.

The Psychics reported that the flow of Spiritual Energy here was mixed with some corrupt forces, deducing that the Merfolk had used the Evil God’s power, which means that within this area, the combat power of the numerous Merfolk would be further significantly enhanced.

“Three hours ago, the Pirate Fleet led by Captain Pablo had already charged into the storm. According to the real-time combat report on the forum from the brothers of the Grey Wolf Army, they have already landed and joined forces with the Mermaids.”

Five Wheels supplemented:

“According to the battle report personally written by Crazy Wolf Under the Moon, half of the mermaid priests of the Temple of the Giant Rock had been lost.

Their situation is very dire, and it seems the Hidden Worship of Daguan sensed the arrival of reinforcements and launched a full-scale assault on the island half an hour ago, currently pushing their positions to near the lighthouse, which is the last high ground.

Once that is lost, our support mission will end before it starts.

There’s no time to wait for the storm to weaken!

I think we should take the risk and charge in immediately.”

“It’s not about risking it or not, Sir Five Wheels.”

The chubby Selakfenta helplessly sighed, immediately arguing with reason while draped in the captain’s cloak of combat:

“The airships we’ve rented aren’t even standard armed airships, forget standard firepower projection, these civilian airships lack reinforced structures and auxiliary propellers; losing control in the storm means only crashing into the sea.

We’re here for support, not to perform a ‘Black Hawk Down’ for the Mermaids.”

“Lord Qin, Sir Morphy has sent a message!”

Threejin Sweet Potato Burn quickly walked into the command cabin, loudly saying:

“Lady Triss will cast a spell in ten minutes to tear open a barely passable path through the storm area in front of us. Sir Morphy demands that we enter it at any cost and approach the island, where the vampires will break through first to provide support, and the remaining players will employ air-drop tactics to advance to the ground.”

“What? Air dropping in this weather?”

Lin had thought he was extreme enough, but compared to Sir Morphy’s orders at this moment, he seemed as gentle as a kind old woman selling vegetables on the street.

“Parachutes can’t open in conditions like this, our brothers jumping down would be blown away, and once they hit the sea surface, they’re done for, the Merfolk would eat them alive.”

The fanatical steel-wire commander Lin shook his head and said:

“It’s sending them to their deaths, we aren’t afraid of dying, but the issue is that such a death is meaningless.”

“No, no, no, Sir Morphy was very clear, he said he contacted the Wanderer, and that Demigod will apply a special reinforcement state to our airship, allowing it to resist the storm as much as possible while granting players a cloud wandering protection that ignores impact.”

Threejin Sweet Potato Burn said eagerly:

“So this time we parachute without parachutes, jumping straight from the high sky, like the legendary Asterte and Hell Paratroopers, it’s going to be awesome!”

“Damn!”

The few people in the command cabin looked at each other.

Jumping from a kilometer high without a parachute, alright! This is a one-of-a-kind real “suicide jump tower” experience.

But Old Qin immediately caught the odd meaning in this order, he asked:

“If the Wanderer can bless us, then why doesn’t that Demigod directly assist its followers? The Temple of the Giant Rock was established to worship it, right?”

“Because Daguan’s power is shrouded within the storm.”

Lady Triss’s voice appeared with the Psychic Projection appearing in the command room, this Spiritual Overlord from Transylvania explained:

“The Father of Fish certainly has an entity projection present on this battlefield, channeling his filthy power into the storm through that vessel. Cui Tan, being only a Demigod, can’t provide large-scale support to its followers under such oppression, it can only choose to support us outside the storm to complete this landing rescue.

Once the blessed airship enters the storm, Cui Tan’s blessing will be quickly eroded by Daguan’s evil power, this time will not exceed twenty-five minutes.
