My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3044 -1014: What? Rescue the Big Sister with the Fish Tail? Why Didn’t You Say So Earlier! Let’s Do It!

The random task of “Mad Fish Banquet” was released and immediately sparked heated discussions among players.

The story enthusiasts celebrated that the reputation of the Mermaids had finally opened up, bringing them a step closer to gathering all the storylines of the various factions on the continent.

The power enthusiasts were discussing how strong the Abyssal Overlord’s Sacred Relic in the reward pool might be, at least it shouldn’t be inferior to other Divine Spirit Relics held by Three Five Battles and Meow Brother, right?

The achievement hunters were glad that the task explicitly stated a batch of achievements would soon become unobtainable after a month, allowing them to gather another batch of unobtainable achievements to prove their extraordinary credentials.

The Love Nikki fans and role players were the happiest.

They believed that the option to choose Mermaids as a playable race was imminent. Videos released by Three Five Battles on the forums showing Katerina switching back and forth between human form and fish form made many female players eager.

After all, it’s a mermaid!

Reenacting scenes from ‘The Little Mermaid’ fairy tale within the game was a fantastic experience that money couldn’t buy in reality.

See, all discussions were centered around the reputation of the Mermaids. Hardly any players proactively talked about how to support the besieged Dwarf Marshal, which clearly showed that Marshall Loren’s reputation among current player factions was disastrously bad.

Even the most gentle players wouldn’t agree with this guy who brought grave calamity to Transylvania.

This feedback made Murphy, who was lurking in the forums, quite satisfied. As long as players maintained this attitude, he wouldn’t need to worry about potential ‘dissenters’ when Transylvania and the Exploration Corps went to war in the future.

Thinking about how awesome players would serve as Transylvania’s war vanguard in the future, helping him and the Mountain People take down the Dwarf Marshal, Murphy’s mood lightened.

With hands clasped behind his back, he headed to the mechanical laboratory affiliated with the embassy before the rented player airships were scheduled to depart.

This lab originally belonged to Ellen, but it had been temporarily lent to the newly formed “Explorer’s” Guild bigwigs to study the two Power Armors Murphy stored here.

Of course, the War Marshal’s armaments didn’t need much discussion; it’s complete and belongs to the Vampire Lord’s common armament. Murphy wouldn’t allow the bigwigs, who were still in the learning phase, to try dismantling it. But the damaged Power Armor confiscated from Huggesen was a different story.

When he entered the laboratory, he saw Marquis Ma assisting Eat Jujube Pills in dismantling the Power Armor’s outer shell.

They were using an Incendiary Power Impact Drill provided by the Half Body Mechanic Guild, which had been mechanically modified for fine adjustments, specifically used for unscrewing screws on this advanced weapon.

The surroundings of the busy dismantling site had already neatly organized various parts that had been removed. By visual estimation, the dismantling progress of that damaged Power Armor had reached about 60%.

In the peripheral regions of the lab, several experts in mechanics were scribbling on design blueprints, seemingly discussing how to repair it.

This thing was originally intended to be sent to the Sanghai Empire for repairs, but plans couldn’t catch up with changes.

With all Creator’s facilities effectively shut down in the Sanghai Empire, even if players transported this set there, they’d likely have to figure out how to restart it themselves. Hence, it served as a good practice opportunity for these bigwigs.

“How are your new apprentices progressing?”

Murphy didn’t disturb these experts but instead walked over to Mosna, who was performing routine maintenance on the War Marshal Power Armor, and quietly asked:

“Are they keeping up with the learning pace these past few days?”

“They are quite an impressive group of people.”

Mosna appraised without lifting her head:

“Their comprehension capability, learning ability, and ability to infer are much stronger than the mechanics of this world. I originally planned to complete the beginner’s guide to Creator’s Engineering in three months. But now, it seems this task might be finished in about a month and a half.

However, following me can only teach them so much skin-deep knowledge.

After all, I’m just a maintenance sentinel—not equipped with advanced education modules. I know how to fix these things, which doesn’t mean I can explain them in detail. After entry-level completion, except for apprentices focused on mechanical deconstruction and repair fields, the others need to find ways to access the Creator’s knowledge base for autonomous learning by themselves.

But I have confidence in them; perhaps you can really rebuild a genuine ‘Creator Church’ on this continent a millennium from now, not the sort of blind faith thing practiced by the Sanghai people.”

At this point, Mosna looked up at the Power Armor being dismantled and said:

“I will lead them and guide them to complete the repair of this damaged item, but they’ll have to walk the road alone thereafter, and there’s one thing I have to tell you.

These folks have been openly and secretly inquiring about the technology of the standard Energy Battery these past few days. My database contains the knowledge of how to fabricate such an energy storage device, but I’m unsure if I should teach them?

This requires your approval, Officer Morphy.

At their current level of civilization, mastering this technology would undoubtedly trigger a socially transformative event akin to a ‘small technological singularity.’ Although not as monumental as cold fusion technology, mastering more efficient energy storage and transmission technology would be enough to cause significant waves in another world.
