My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3011 -1003: Let’s See What Spellbinding Potion You’re Selling in This Alternate-World Gourd!

“Well…that’s basically it. I’m really out of options, so I have to ask for your help here.”

Loyal Brother, looking worn out, sat in front of the computer in his office with a face full of helplessness.

In front of him was a temporary chat window opened on a forum. Just a moment ago, Loyal Brother had briefly told Brother Fa, the forum admin, about what happened today at noon during the “tasting session”, and now Murphy, who was making dinner for Triss at the embassy, was multitasking.

He was chopping vegetables with an indistinguishable knife technique while surfing the internet.

The story Loyal Brother told left Murphy dumbfounded. As he took out a washed carrot and diced it, he replied:

“So, a bunch of your industry’s leaders are banding together to threaten you into letting them see the real thing in the game? Well, I gotta say, the operations team handled this a bit badly. The helmets on the company’s production line are given away as fast as they’re made, and tens of thousands of players are eagerly waiting. How do we have any spares for these queue-jumping big shots?”

“Aren’t you putting me in a tough spot?”

“But isn’t it a good thing for Alpha Company to always deepen exchanges between the two worlds and become partners to jointly study the lost technology of the creator?”

Loyal Brother cunningly shifted the concept, saying:

“This batch of big shots are all top figures in their industries. Their arrival can better and faster help both sides with technological ‘archaeology’ and replication. Even though our people still have to start from scratch with the creator’s think tank, they have different perspectives, being experts who have been immersed in their respective industries for a lifetime.

Having them onboard is beneficial for both parties.

You see, Lord Old Flynn’s organ enhancement experiment at the R-9 base has hit a bottleneck, hasn’t it?

In the Transia World, it’s hard for him to find someone with the right experience, unless he goes to see the scholars. But on our side, we also have big-shots in the biology field who have different views on this. Just by looking at the data, they’ve come up with several feasible technical routes.

Besides, as members of the operations team, we have been diligently maintaining the relationship between the two worlds. Now the Governor Milian has invited us multiple times to send a permanent diplomatic team to Crimson Castle.

The Transia People invited us, and we’re just responding to that.

Lastly, we will surely adhere to the knowledge contribution agreement established earlier with Alpha Company. A copy of the research data produced here will be given to the Transia officials.

In this way, Sir Morphy’s salvation endeavors will proceed more smoothly, wouldn’t you agree?”

“Hmph, that’s Murphy’s own business, what’s it got to do with our Alpha Company’s testing team? We’re just hard-working employees under a mysterious company, and we’re also carrying KPIs.”

Murphy snapped back, saying:

“I think you’re just taking advantage but still acting coy… Fine, give me a list, and I’ll arrange it as soon as possible. However, are these big shots reliable?”

“Oh yes, yes, yes, it’s all Sir Murphy’s business, nothing to do with your esteemed company. As for the reliability of this batch of inspectors, they have been screened.”

Loyal Brother responded excitedly:

“They are all devoted, skilled, and idealistic researchers.”

“Then I have no issues. Let me report it upwards. Next time something like this comes up, remember to let me and my colleagues know in advance so we can prepare.”

Murphy ended the communication and was about to throw the chopped vegetables into the pot when he was suddenly hugged from behind by a fragrant and soft, seductive vampire.

“I’m cooking, don’t make a mess.”

The Vampire Lord said helplessly, while Triss, lying on his back, snorted and said:

“I heard you were up to no good. Hmph, as soon as the bait was laid, the fish couldn’t wait to bite. You don’t even need to actively push, everything is arranged on the other side for a bunch of specialists and scholars… Tsk tsk, I finally understand the meaning of your previous statement, ‘our greatest advantage isn’t in this world.’

So, the technological advancements on Blue Star will feed back into the technical progress of Transia?”

“Of course, they will! Both sides currently have no conflict of interest and have common goals, making it the perfect collaborative relationship.”

As Murphy poured the diced vegetables into the hot pan, he waved the spatula and said:

“But the things people research over there can be quickly applied, which we simply can’t achieve here.

The gap in fundamental disciplines is too wide. But fortunately, we have spiritual energy. So, I plan to gather the remnants of the Mechanical Church and let them continue down the unique path paved by Old Bach to see if it brings us any surprises.

This can be seen as walking on two legs.

After all, ever since the incident with Old Bach, the Mechanical Church has had no place to stand in Charldo Harbor, even if Minkus wishes to be lenient with them, other Steam Lords will not agree, so they have to go far away.

Fortunately, Transia will embrace these mechanics who have taken the wrong path.

Speaking of which, Triss, do you think we should add a mechanic enhancement career path in the next version?”

“Hmph, I’m not a designer or a programmer, I don’t care about these things.”

Triss closed her eyes and leaned against Murphy’s neck, leaving a bright red strawberry mark, and she whispered:

“Seeing you gradually transform from an innocent young vampire into a shrewd old hand, I’m both proud and worried. I know I haven’t played a big role in it, but luckily, I won’t cultivate a second Luna.”
