My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3002 -1000: Now It’s Our Turn! Warriors of the Sun God! Drive Those White Devils Into the Sea!

As night fell, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, dressed in royal pajamas, quickly entered the bridge of the Origin Vanguard under the protection of the guards. His exhaustion came from the long discussions and conversations with the leaders of various forces at a meeting organized by the Steam Lord of the Half-Bodies. The complex political environment of Charldo required the young Crown Prince to take these matters seriously. Despite the heavy drowsiness on his face, his expression was very serious.

This definitely looks like something happened!

“What’s going on?”

The Crown Prince looked at the busy staff adjusting various equipment in front of him and asked General Bopal, who had a grim look on his face:

“I heard that communications with our country have been cut off on this ship? Who did it?”

“It is still unconfirmed, Your Highness. This information has been locked down; only the duty personnel and the commanders of the solar ships know, but all communications with the country have entered a dangerous state of disconnection.”

The old general frowned and said:

“Our instruments are operating normally, but the signal beacons of the Ptolemaic Royal City are turned off. Apart from the normal signal feedback from the Creator’s Holy City, communications in other areas have entered silence. Worse yet, communication with other solar ships cannot be established at all.

We can only suspect that something has happened back home, and His Majesty may have ordered a nationwide communication control. But to be honest, I can’t imagine what kind of major event could deteriorate the situation so drastically in such a short time.

Priest Bodinos is currently contacting the Holy City through the secret transmission method of the Solar Church, and perhaps there will be news soon.”

“But even if it was my father who ordered the signal cut, the important regions of the Empire, especially the solar ships, should still maintain encrypted communication within safe limits. This complete inability to communicate is abnormal!”

Prince Hu Fu’s drowsiness disappeared immediately upon hearing that something might have happened back home. He said sternly:

“We cannot stay here any longer! The battle at Charldo Harbor is over, and the war on the Ligurian Peninsula won’t be affected by the absence of Origin Vanguard’s participation. We must return immediately to support my father…”

“Don’t rush, Your Highness; I bring accurate information.”

Just as Hu Fu and the old general were discussing their next actions, Priest Bodinos, wearing a solemn but equally tired expression and sporting dark circles under his eyes, stepped into the bridge, holding a solar pendant crafted with Shaman artistry that still had traces of warm elemental power on it.

He held it up and said to the two before him:

“I have completed communication with the Sun Holy City. The good news is that everything is normal at home, with no chaos occurring. The bad news is that the Grand Archbishop of the Solar Church told me that a trial of faith by the Creator has descended upon the Sanghai people.”

“What does that mean, Priest Bodinos? I understand that you are a devout believer, but please, given the current situation, refrain from speaking in riddles.”

General Bopal said sharply:

“What do you mean ‘the Creator’s trial of faith has descended’?”

“It’s a literal ceremony, Your Highness and General. A few hours ago, all Creator Relics within the Sanghai Empire, except in the Creator’s Holy City, simultaneously shut down. The royal flagship ‘Millennial Quicksand’ also encountered a forced landing accident, and the Empire’s elite Quicksand Guards even collectively became trapped.

This isn’t even the most severe issue.”

Bodinos massaged his brow and said softly:

“The city defense matrixes of the Ptolemaic Royal City and Origin Port also shut down. The Empire’s core energy facilities within the city have stopped running. Although the artisans have activated our own imitation solar generator sets, the energy gap is not easy to fill.

Without the energy core, the seven cities near the royal city and the surrounding oasis will face the risk of drought, and the communication systems in various places were suddenly cut off. In my humble opinion, there may not be a problem in the short term, but if we can’t come up with an alternative solution as time drags on, the border oases may encounter issues.

Without the communication system left by the Creator, the current ruling foundation of the Empire will collapse!

Pharaoh King’s orders cannot be quickly conveyed to the local Pharaohs, so it’s difficult to guarantee whether ambitious people will rise to power. By that time, we will also face border problems similar to those of Nordtof Kingdom.

Worst of all, the disappearance of the Creator’s power left us no time to prepare, which means the defenses on the Abyss of Wraiths side are likely to face problems.

Therefore, the Solar Church conveyed Pharaoh King’s order, requesting the currently operational Origin Vanguard to immediately return home, use the ship’s communication module to temporarily support an emergency communication system, and proceed to the Abyss of Wraiths’ defense line to take over the ‘Netherworld Cerberus’ solar ship’s downgraded primary defense duties.”

“Has the situation deteriorated to such an extent?”

Both Hu Fu and General Bopal were stunned. The young Crown Prince, worried about the state of the nation, was ready to order an immediate return, but General Bopal had more considerations. He looked suspiciously at the control panel ahead, which showed no signs of abnormality, and said quietly:

“If the Creator’s endowment has been withdrawn and if other solar ships can no longer be airborne, then why is our ship still operating well? Does this mean such ‘punishment’ is happening only within the Empire?

Could the Creator’s power still be operational elsewhere?”

“This is not clear at present.”
